The clumsy adjustment at 0:24 did a better job at conveying the 3D depth of the hologram better than literally ANY of those vignette demo things...
she worded the pricing very poorly making it sound like $402,000.
What was she trying to say? If she meant 402$, why did she say thausand?

Are the prices right? Just checked their kickstarter and you can get one for 399.
This video is old. The price now is dramatically cheaper than when it first started. As you can see the one in the video looks different from the one they have now by removing the large refractive block in the front of the display.

Well, sure. This isn't a mass-manufactured product. It's more like a hand-built demonstration and I'm sure a ton of computing power is necessary to drive those real-time graphics.

you know with fast enough eye tracking, gyroscope and fast computing our smartphones can create a holographic images already in its screens

Reduce the price by 99% and it'll still be horrifically expensive. $6k ($4k discounted) would be far too much, but 100 times that is proper mental. I predict sales of ZERO.

Hi, I work for Looking Glass. Check out our Kickstarter page - the price is 399 for early backers and 599 MSRP; the large Looking Glass is 1999 for early backers and 2999 MSRP.
@wormyrocks, you need to contact CNET then. They're saying it costs 600 grand. Those prices you mention are fine, but 600 grand (discounted to 400 grand) is crazy, and now apparently completely untrue.

I bought the small one 1 year ago. It is not working now!!! AND, very limited FOV (Field of View). You can see the discontinued images when changing viewing angle. TOTAL TRASH. DON'T BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
