- Fugue in E minor composed by Johann Pachelbel (c. 1 September 1653 - c. 9 March 1706).
The sheet music for this piece is freely available online at IMSLP.org.
Played on the sample set of the 1898 Adolf Volkmann organ located in St. Augustine’s church Świętochłowice, Lipiny, Poland. Sample set by Piotr Grabowski.
It's nothing like the Bach fugues I'm used to. It was interesting to hear something different.
Agreed. Quite different from Bach; and not what Pachelbel is typically remembered for. Thanks for listening.
This sounds really well phenomenal.

Thank you very much, Alberto.
Lipiny organ is really good sounding samplesets.
Hi, thanks for listening and commenting. I agree. Lipany is excellent. One of my favourites, actually.
Try some articulation to bring out the various motifs.
Hi, thank you for listening and commenting. I appreciate constructive criticism. Articulation is one of the things I struggle with greatly, especially if not notated on the page. Still lots to learn. Thanks!
@@thehalf-bakedorganist Couperin and all the composers from the french school are a great way to approach the topic. Listen to some important recordings to understand how deeply articulated those pieces were, even when not notated.
