You know you're going to get the other battery anyway, as you said the battery that is in there might not have the beans in cold weather, and if you did, you're narrowing down what it could be 🏍👍
All the very best to you and yours over Christmas and especially for 2024🍻 I should be tackling two jobs on the Busa next week, so there’s definitely some ‘entertainment’ (🤣) heading your way🫡
Had this same issue on my 08 Busa. We eventually found out that the Cold cranking amps on those batteries that the bike come with the cranking amps is too low. We checked everything and only when I bought a new battery with a cranking amp over 220 the issue went away. Exact same thing battery voltage looked good etc. Buy a new lithium battery with a cranking amp above 220CCA and keep on a trickle charger mate
Thanks for watching and commenting👍, but are you sure you’re not covering up the problem? Having CCA’s of over 180 seems overkill and having a new battery that you need to constantly trickle charge is definitely not right. I’m going to check the starter motor out and then check the starter clutch🤷♂️
Indeed, had the same issue few months ago actually, replaced battery to higher CCA but still did the same. I removed started an replaced the brushes an all was good 👍. Also a side note I checked my starter relay as well an a buddy of mine tested it an that checked out fine however he ran a wire from the starter relay to the earth point of the starter so that with replacing the brushes worked perfectly. hope this helps an you can get it sorted.
Thanks for that, I’ll be checking the starter real soon. I was going to go down the route of a battery with higher CCA but the electrics checked out fine, so the starter was the next in line for fiddling with🤷♂️
I’ll definitely get the Yuasa and sell it to you for £3500!! Is there any other batteries you want🤔 I’ll possibly have a slightly used LP battery soon, only £1200 to you 😉
@@vrossi2596 The very best to you and yours over the festive period and 2024🎄🍻 . . . and no Santa won’t be getting you a discount on my Busa . . . but we can still do a deal on the battery🤣
@@agaryord8301 you’re positive the battery is okay? Do the lights come on? Indicators work? Any clicking anywhere? Does the fuel pump prime? Does the clock dim when you turn the key in the ignition?

A weak starter which could mean it may need a clean on the armature and new brushes.
. . . I’m heading in a similar route🤔

Got exactly same bike today riding out. Battery's good but ignition will not come on
@@agaryord8301 when you say the ignition won’t come on do you mean you’ve got no electrics at all🤷♂️ nothing is lighting up🤷♂️

@@agaryord8301 I believe the fuse box is under the left hand plastic, between the tank and the fairing.
