This is a prime example of why David Bowie is my favorite artist of all time. I still am mourning his death. I will until my own time comes. Thank you for your reaction and for your appreciation of this legend. ✌
I've watched hundreds if not thousands of reaction videos, and this might be the first time I've seen someone who actually listens to what they're hearing and genuinely reacts to it. I'm glad to see that not everyone is fake. Too many seem afraid to show their emotions today.
Please don't feel silly for your reaction. It was beautiful and mirrors my own feelings for this song and for David Bowie. I still miss him every day. The world feels a tiny bit smaller without him in it.
He may not have written it but he sure sings the hell outta that song! Many people had no clue as to how beautifully Bowie could sing, and what an amazing voice he had. This is from one of my all time fave albums, and I still listen to it a lot!
Station to Station is an amazing album. You have to play it aloud while alone in a house on a cold Autumn night with areal fire burning, a glass of wine, thinking of all that you love in your life......and feeling grateful.
There are no words to describe David Bowie, he is so special that many of us thought he was not from this planet and I miss him too, greetings guys, hugs❤
One of the best ways to honor David Bowie in this moment is to have a nice dinner together, then turn the lights down low and put the song on again. Slow dancing together and love making are also good for you as a couple.
I'm 62 years old tomorrow and discovered this song at 19 years of age .I think I played it over and over and over again. Still love it, and Bowie ❤He Truly was unquie. I got to see him live a couple of times, and he was just mesmerising.More Bowie reactions please .
David Bowie! Wild is the Wind! He has a deep Baratone to low Alto range, 2 octaves plus, maybe. But he makes the most of it! His mastery of his vocal instrument, is outstanding! I am so amazed and honored that you both can share the emotion of this song, as husband and wife. To see this brings joy to my heart! God Bless you. I bought this on L.P. when it first came out, and still moves my soul! Sincerely, Ken H
I saw the Station to Station tour in 1976 - in Detroit - and you have to see something like this video to understand how powerful his voice and message was. "Stay" on this album is really fantastic as is "Station to Station". His death hit me hard.....I just miss his music so much.
Love David Bowie, no one like him. This song, a cover, was released on his album "Station to Station" during his "Thin White Duke" persona era. The Thin White Duke sang with anguished intensity romantic songs, when in reality the character felt nothing at all. 'Wild is the Wind' beautifully displays Bowie's genius. I've always been intrigued by Bowie's changing personas. Great reaction. ❤
There is no equal to this man, he was such an innovator of music. He could change with the times and do any kind of music and make it sound great. His music was such a big part of my teenage and adult life. His death was a shock to a lot of people’s lives.
I feel the same way Dominika. David Bowie has been the defining artist of my lifetime. I miss him every day. This song was originally recorded by Johnny Mathis and has been covered countless times by great artists including Nina Simone and Esperanza Spalding, but this is the definitive version as far as I am concerned. Bowie is my favorite artist of all time, and this is one of his three greatest vocal performances. Please return to Bowie soon.
This video is beautiful but it cuts out a couple of minutes from the album version including some more of Bowie's gorgeous vocals. You should definitely go back and give that a listen!
"Wild Is the Wind" is a song written by Dimitri Tiomkin and Ned Washington for the 1957 film Wild Is the Wind. Johnny Mathis recorded the song for the film. David Bowie's version is just beautiful
Beautiful performance and song. This one has special memories for me. FYI this version cuts off a bit short - recommend listening to the fuller length version. Amazing.
On a beautiful summers evening at Glastonbury in 2000 in front of a massive crown Bowie came onstage and opened with this song it was a legendary set I was lucky enough to be there (the 10th and last time I saw Bowie live) you can watch it on RUclips I’d also recommend the drowned girl and lady grinning soul as two stand out vocal performances (among many)
Such a creative intelligent and unique artist, here some of his songs I love to checkout: Rock’n’Roll Suicide, Life on Mars, Moonage Daydream, Space Oddity, Ashes to Ashes , The Bewlay Brothers, Thursday's Child
George Michael did a really gorgeous version of this song too in his album Songs From The Last Century ... very different renditions by 2 very unique iconic voices, both masterpieces ...
David was a fantastic performer his concerts were Epic, the first time I saw him it was in a small theater in Detroit, we were in the 3rd row and he came out over the audience on the arm of a crane, there he was right above us singing! I saw him 2 more times in stadium settings great but not like that 1st time, he played 3 nights in that theater I wish I could have been there all 3 nights. Please more Bowie there's so many great songs, l think he's above us now singing in Rock'n'Roll Heaven. Peace ✌️ and Love ❤️ Gary 😊
If you want to see a great livee rendition of this, watch live BBC Radio Theater (2000) concert. The whole concert is an emotionally charged experience. Bowie is a very deep rabbit hole, but one well worth going down. Enjoy
Yes. That concert was incredible. David seemed to be in a very happy and grounded mood then. I particularly enjoyed ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS from this show. ✌
This song is definitely one of Bowie's finest vocal performances, but unfortunately, this video version omits the entire second verse: Give me more than one caress Satisfy this hungriness Let the wind blow through your heart For wild is the wind Wild is the wind Also, the chorus and a third verse ("Like the leaf clings to the tree...") is sung twice in the album version and it gives it more impact. I highly recommend listening to the album version.
Please... react to Gail Ann Dorsey with her friend: David Bowie... or she aline. She's very interesting musician and she play the bass guitar with him. I grow up with Space Oditty in me far far country: Chile. When I heard to David I feel like you, lady. Love, love, live.
I am upset because RUclips stopped notifying me when you release videos, yet they fill my notification page with junk that I didn't subscribe to or want. I have to search through my RUclips page to find your videos hidden amongst other reactors and videos posted two years ago, according to RUclips. I am happy that I found at least one of your videos this morning. 😃
That’s strange?! Andrei said to press the bell for receiving notifications on our videos (maybe you have already, just YT being funny)…we are happy you found this one. Much love from Romania 💚
David Bowie was unique every time and again. A lesser known song (B-side) but indeed once again so special is: Move On ruclips.net/video/cbbUzfFTiQk/видео.html
Bowie at his best. Fantastic song!
This is a prime example of why David Bowie is my favorite artist of all time. I still am mourning his death. I will until my own time comes. Thank you for your reaction and for your appreciation of this legend. ✌
Me too...Bowiemaniac since 1986!!!
His voice here pulls the tears out of your soul
This is one of my favorite songs and I loved your genuine emotions when experiencing this gem.

This is sublime and comes from my favourite David Bowie album of all time: Station to Station.
One of his best vocal performance .
At last, a real, serious reaction. A genuine heartfelt appreciation of genius and beauty. Thank you. ❤
Word on a wing from the same album is also a beautiful song.
There's no words for how beautiful this song is. You guys got me all watery eyed.
Thank you….i am crying my eyes out with you……i miss him so much. To me he is the greatest artist
Great reaction.
He was a beautiful soul and this is my favourite song of his. So lovely to see others moved so much.
Your silence says more than words. Great genuine reaction. Bowie is one of a kind. ❤
A touching reaction to an artist who will never see the like of again. RIP David Bowie.
I think the original was Nina Simone. But Bowie knocked this out of the park. What a legend he was. I miss him
Please don't feel silly for your reaction. It was beautiful and mirrors my own feelings for this song and for David Bowie. I still miss him every day. The world feels a tiny bit smaller without him in it.
when people love David they REALLY love him
So true
He may not have written it but he sure sings the hell outta that song! Many people had no clue as to how beautifully Bowie could sing, and what an amazing voice he had. This is from one of my all time fave albums, and I still listen to it a lot!
beautiful song. beautiful reaction.
Station to Station is an amazing album. You have to play it aloud while alone in a house on a cold Autumn night with areal fire burning, a glass of wine, thinking of all that you love in your life......and feeling grateful.
Yes, by far the best Bowie album ever!
There are no words to describe David Bowie, he is so special that many of us thought he was not from this planet and I miss him too, greetings guys, hugs❤
You have that right. Bowie was on another level. The icon of popular culture.
A lot of people think this is David's best vocal performance. And it's easy to understand why.
Arguably Bowie's greatest vocal performance of all-time. Sublime.
Word on a Wing
His Glastonbury version of this wasn't bad either. To me it's the definitive version. Sublime indeed. Hi Mang, fellow traveler.
Sweet Thing/Candidate/Sweet Thing (Reprise) also stands out👍
@@bobwoolerOriGinal Agreed.

David was the brother, the friend, the son we all wished we had. His passing cut like a knife through humanity.

Happy birthday for tomorrow 🎉💚
Bowie forever. Great reaction.
Such an emotional reaction from you both its lovely to see. The song deserves to be heard by everyone, such a beautiful redition by Bowie.
Great honest reaction video. Love one another.
A beautiful reaction to a beautiful song. It is one of my favourite DB songs. RIP David Bowie.
my funeral song- enough said

A beautiful reaction to a beautiful song!❤❤
Listen to more Bowie. It doesn't matter what. Just keep listening. It will nourish you.
Your reaction makes me remember how I felt when I first heard this. Thank you so much.
I saw the Station to Station tour in 1976 - in Detroit - and you have to see something like this video to understand how powerful his voice and message was. "Stay" on this album is really fantastic as is "Station to Station". His death hit me hard.....I just miss his music so much.
David Bowie a true great
Thank you for your heartfelt reaction
By far my favourite song performed by David Bowie. Essential listening.
One of my favorite Bowie's songs, beautiful, amazing
He gave us magic. He was magic. I still mourn him too. The gaping hole he left can’t be filled.

@@gregharmon3797 I agree, truly one of a kind. It hurt when he passed.
This is actually a shorter version of the song on the "Station to Station" album. Nice reaction.
Yup ...... too short 👍
Yes, you've got another 3 minutes of this beautiful song to enjoy
David Bowie forever !🇨🇦♥️♥️♥️
All I can say is ❤️
Always interesting, nearly always brilliant, one of a kind.
Bowie never misses. Love the reaction! ☘️🇺🇲

That is pure Passion and Love! ❤🌈🙏⚡️
You're a beautiful couple, inside and out..
😊 thank you
Bowie had such a vocal range it’s unbelievable. RIP you genius. Taken far too young. Just think which way he would have taken us next.
This video is beautiful but it cuts out a couple of minutes from the album version including some more of Bowie's gorgeous vocals. You should definitely go back and give that a listen!

And just think nobody would take him seriously before Ziggy blew us away.
OMG - amazing
The passion of Bowie is also seen in the looks you give each other.
Such a creative intelligent and unique artist, here some of his songs I love to checkout:
Rock’n’Roll Suicide, Life on Mars, Moonage Daydream, Space Oddity, Ashes to Ashes , The Bewlay Brothers, Thursday's Child
Beyond the video, I love how you love each other, Beautiful.
Do yourselves a favour and listen to the full version. You will love it.
I recommend Fantastic Voyage by Bowie. If you like his slower songs.
George Michael did a really gorgeous version of this song too in his album Songs From The Last Century ... very different renditions by 2 very unique iconic voices, both masterpieces ...
Nice! You're the first people I've heard react to this song. Thank you 😊

David is my favorite voice... I heard he was a fabulous person and frontman... excellent reaction both friends.
Greetings from Santiago de Chile.
Please do more Bowie reactions. Like for example 'Lady Grinning Soul'. He is also my favorite artist.

Bowie probably inspired by his friend Nina Simone (w/her version of song) broke from his glamrock to show himself to be an artist with the voice.
Love David Bowie ❤
Nina did a great version of this track.
It's worth checking out the full, album, version. :)
One of the Best! Please react to : Steve Wonder whit the song: Lately! Majestic song!!
Please listen to the wonderful LIVE version of this at "Bowie at the BBC".
This song is definitely one of Bowie's finest vocal performances, but unfortunately, this video version omits the entire second verse:
Give me more than one caress

Also Bowie mentioned this song shows off his real voice.

This was released as a single in the UK.
This is the inferior short-edited single-version of the song. Try the album version👍
"Original" song is by Nina Simone... George Michael do a Awesome version too!! But Bowie is GOD ❤!!
Johnny Mathis did the original. It was written by Dimitri Tiomkin, for the film of the same name.
@@michaelcullen5308 thats why the quotation marks :p the Bowie´s version is more attached to the Nina´ versión...she was a great friend to him.
love you, incredible reaction, just like me, your hearth is big big big. thanks a lot, please your email?
