I somehow ended up with two EPs in the last few years and I think both have the brake plates. I can send one if you need! My first was a chrome ‘97 like this one, and the second was a 2002 I bought as a complete from someone on Facebook for parts. Heaviest frame and fork set I have ever personally lifted. Something like 17lb with BB, headset and brakes mounted. I have no idea how Day Smith and the Hoffman dudes spun those bikes around so easily.
@@SnakebiteBMX It was the Momentum in 2004 a few years before the Strowler, I almost never see those and most Momentums posted up online are listed the wrong year.
I would get some Hoffman skidmark tyres and Hoffman EP rear 990 brake plate and a Hoffman gack hub for the front and a Girthy Nankai freecoaster for the back laced up to some Hoffman Generator rims and get a Hoffman fat seat and some Hoffman 4pc chocolate bars for it 👍🚲💨
I gotta ask shad how do you plan your bike builds era correct or just what you have on hand. DO NOT TAKE OFF THE DANS COMP STICKERS that's a survivor not a show bike
My first legit bike was an EP complete in red. Brings back great memories
Those were good Hoffman years , all the completes were pretty legit
The rear brake plates are almost imposible to find.
I'll bet this isn't the only bike Shad has that is sticky... Sweet bike, for sure. 😊

That is a awesome EP survivor. You were pretty close on the year they lasted until, 2002 was the last year of the EP's before being replaced.
The Strowler was what it was replaced by right?

yooo Shad! I have a fully complete EP in Blue, like 90% original parts in my parents garage.
Why would you remove those dans stickers but leave the tape!?!?
That’s the second version. Believe it’s a 98. I had this exact bike. Awesome video
During those years I rode a haro NyQuist backtrail x3
I had a Hoffman Deebo, gun metal grey! But I cracked the bottom wishbone so I bought a '99 Angel of death. Still have both!
Those rear brake plates are very hard to find. That was the only frame that used them.
Building a green one 😊
i had a chrome EP... three piece profile cranks..nankai freecoaster and love bars and like an idiot i sold it early 2000s ...
Gack hub in front or odyssey hazard front wheel and primo cranks with hoffman sole mates
