I bought them and i'm super happy with them. I agree with you on all but one thing. The bass is exelent for these type of earbuds and when you put then in right, you wont find many truly wireless earbuds with better or more bass
The positioning is critical. These sound open and punchy, unlike any other TW earbuds I've ever tried, including many super premium ones. I love the sound and comfort of these. Also, the nose cancellation works pretty well for how it was intended to work. The hint is in the name: Live. They're not supposed to block and upper middle to high frequencies, so you can hear everything clearly as if you had no earbuds in your ears. It filters out low end noise perfectly and prevents the bass in whatever you're listening to, from getting lost in the noise.
Just got mines at first I felt regret then I learned how to use them and now I'm in love with them. Great product. Got mines for 114 nzd which is a grab.
I use these Samsung buds live every day to and from work in my vehicle because I don't have Bluetooth built-in the vehicle the people I talk to never complained once about call Quality and they have no idea what I'm using so I'm going to have to disagree with you when you say they're only good for in home uses.. they're awesome ..just my opinion👍
Actually, the purpose of the ANC is to cancel out low frequencies so that you will be able to hear people talking. Good use cases - airplane, train station, in an office where you expect people to talk to you every now and then.
I have to disagree with you to an extent, purchased these after numerous reviews. I agree yes they sit smug and comfortably and yes the audio allows certain external sounds. You have to understand that they were made for this on purpose. As for the bass, it is great👌. Cannot fault the bass.. if you want to cancel out sound, you can adjust the beans (buds live) to fit more deeply in your ear, thus cancelling out sound. With ANC on, you have best of both :)
They are not bad. They do what I wanted them to do, that is to be able to listen to media while being able to listen to others. Perfect for a work situation where you need to hear people but you'd like to also like to listen to something in the background. I can block the outside noise by putting the speakers in my ear. The ANC is eh, it does do something when worn incorrectly lol but does nothing when worn correctly. All and all, I'm not disappointed. I have a set of galaxy buds pluses for when I'm just at home where I don't need to hear the outside.
I was surprised when you're saying that the BEANS lack bass because from a bunch of reviews I've watched, many actually praise its base to the point can be quite overbearing. If I recalled a reviewer saying that swapping the ear wings / hooks to bigger size might improve your listening experience. You could try with yours because I don't have one haha. Good video as always :D
the Noise cancelling is super expected. I know I m super late to the topic, but these are much more compare able to Air pods 2 that to any with the plug that goes into your ear. That plug blocks off sounds from outside passively on top of maybe having Noise cancellation, so its not even trying to compete or it shouldn't compete with such designs.
true!people dont know what they complaining about. as if they will use the lives ANC without music. 60% volume with anc on blocked 80% of noise. someone talking to me about 2 to 3 feet away i could tell they talking to me but i couldnt clearly hear what they were saying. even i turned thw music off i still couldnt hear what they were saying. im on my 3rd pair of buds live planning to buy 4th since they are the ones works both ios and android cause i have both.newer samsung buds dont on ios. the only thing i wanted to add on live are bigger eargel, tap edge feature, and ambient sound/hearing aid feature.
The beans are made for my excessively narrow, crooked ear canalA I tried earbuds with the silicone tip about 5 years ago and wound up with excessive wax and ear pain (even when not wearing them). I've been wearing wireless on-ear headphones ever since. However, the only pair that was comfortable with my glasses were cheap and the mic didn't work with my phone. Two weeks ago I looked to see if there was a better headphone or something I could use and then I found the beans. I ordered an open box set from Ebay for less than $50 bucks and they are perfect! I mostly listen to audiobooks while working and these work perfectly. Sleeping with them in is not a problem, and they are so comfortable I can just leave them in at work even if I'm not listening to anything. Noise cancelling might be nice, but it would be a problem at work and the sound is amazing with these!
Man, I felt so dumb trying to put these in reading instructions..in hindsight, I should have just done it first. I never read instructions either, wtf? Anyways, this video is good stuff my dude, appreciate the quality and sticking to the point. Your voice isn't annoying either: always a plus.
I was interested in the beans but glad I went with the Sony buds. The lack of noise isolating is a a real shame, I actually like the look of the beans!
I've been really tempted to pick up a copy of these, but I kinda worry about how they'll fit in my ears, since I have small ears...might still pick them tho, but we'll see. Fantastic video again dude! You are my new YT role model, lol - def tons of tips to grab from you style. Keep dropping that 🔥🔥🔥
Almost one year with this baby's and man, samsung is doing great with software updates I think that they are more bassy than before and the anc is not the best but they have improved with updates soo much that even when i'm in the streets separe the noise of the traffic. I'll would buy it again if there would be a v2.0 of these
This is an update. The reason why I was getting a bad reception on my Samsung 55" Class S95B OLED 4K Smart TV (2022) using the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live, my Verizon Fios cable boxes and Router were very old. After upgrading to Verizon Fios 4K cable boxes and Router, the reception on this Samsung Galaxy Buds Live is awesome. The sound coming through my 2022 Samsung OLED Smart T.V. to the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live is like being at the movies.😀 😃 😄 😁 😆
I think the Tech community should agree the definitive definitive of different audio devices. So we have Headphones which are generally considered as over the ear speakers with a band, Earphones are used as tangent with Headphones (?). Headset is headphones with a microphone. Earbuds are the ones you put in ear that has the plug? So are the In ear earphones just that, In ear earphones? Trying to google some specific (or in this case Wireless in ear headphones that do not have the plugs) is almost impossible as the market is filled with mostly these Plug (earbuds?) versions and no discussion of non plug versions or anyway to differentiate them inc searchable terms.
I've had these for over and year , best buy ever , there's no noice cancelation other than white noise , but the sound quality build quality battery life is the best , they don't fall out easily either , compared to the airpods the sounds quality is better
Dear Mark, I think that you make amazing content. It is similar to that of channel’s that have more than 1 million subscribers! You have inspired me to create a RUclips channel, which I haven’t taken to far yet, and I put your name in the description of every video!
I think the next galaxy buds will have a similar design with an in ear design. Imagine the beans with its active noise cancellation and the passive noise cancellation of a good seal...thats a steal...
Mark, if you're reading this, try the Wavelet App from the play store for custom EQ (and headphone-specific equalizing for popular headsets)...I prefer rooted solutions like DTS, Dolby and Viper for fiddling with the audio coz they're more powerful in general but Wavelet actually works way better than anything off the play store.
I brought this just a day before .. and my opinion to all .. those who have small or fatty ears 👂 plz don't buy .. its hurt alot .. within minute ur ear cartilage will come in pain .. noise cancellation is just a option in these buds but in actual it doesn't work well .. I waste my money to save urs ..
they actually do sound better then the buds plus and you tell me 3 earbuds that have a better mic then the buds live only thing I do agree with is the anc isn't great but samsung never said that it was they even said the type anc that they would have. the only thing the buds plus have better then the buds live are battery, and that thr buds sticks in your ear more and the buds live have great sound better then the airpods pro witch cost 250 and the buds plus sound better then the airpods pro
I went with the beans as opposed to the buds because I cannot stand suction cups in my ears. For what I'm using the beans for (drowning out noisy neighbors) these are working beautifully especially to fall asleep with. Very happy with them.
💕I love my Beans lol the bass sometimes is too much, so I have to toggle over to "treble boost" because of it lol. Also the ANC sometimes hurts my head 😕 I usually don't have it turned on.
Having them for a few days now I must say I got them for purely vanity reasons. The Mystic Bronze looks like jewelry in my ears and I got a bunch of compliments already. However, my suspicion was right, my ears are too small - I guess not the ear canal but rather the outer part of my ears. I think the beans don't fit me well, especially on the left ear, which also hurts often. The extra rubber tip is clearly made for larger ears, not smaller. They should have had a part which entered the ear canal, I guess that wasn't possible design-wise, but that affected the sound by a lot. With the small ears the sound, the sound leakage, the (non-existant) ANC - all of these are sub-par and/or an issue. And still, I don't regret at all. I look super fancy in them and the sound quality is decent, so.
I have small ears and the round, larger wing tip is actually more comfortable then the other shape. It rests along my outer ear without pain. Just a thought.
I always found it odd when people referred to most tws as wireless buds since I always separated the term iem from buds. Iems were in ears and buds were the type of earphone that just sits on the outer canal. Idk if that's just me
Is like you said it. Not everyone likes the same things, I'm an android guy currently trying the iPhone and so far I like it. Do I like the airpods pro no I dont, i bought these little guys and amazingly I like them a lot and works just fine with the iPhone
It sucks that I get much better sound quality using the rubber wings my "Beans" came with pre-installed but they tend to make the buds slide out very easily because of my large ears. I get a much better fit with the larger rubber wings but with those, they sort of push the buds further away so they don't go in as deep which obviously I'm losing a better sound performance and I'm hearing much more outside noises than before. If only my ears were just a little bit smaller they would've been perfect.

@@krys8494 Exactly, or they could have named them Galaxy Airbeans or Earbeans if they wanted more subtlety. A name that stood out would have made way more headlines
Albus Dumbledore i like samsung but they have so much money but their marketing is trash...thier only god tuer marketing i can remember was for the s4 and it sold accordingly
You can slide them into your ear if you want more bass sounds great still no joke actually with a 3d surround player they fit just fine slid into the ear oddly o.o
Mark do u recommend these for quality music lovers like me? I was much into APTX HD sound till date for my True Wireless, Neckband. I m a audiophile tbh.
These are great i love them and they sound so dam awsome but lets keep in mind the noise cancelation was not desing to keep all noise out but some and let the importan noise in its explain on the samsung website itself all in all they are great buds and I love em so much myself they are what ill use when I don't want to carry my Wh-1000XM3
THANK YOU.... finally reviewer that address all my questions in one go; 1. They fit in a regular "pocket watch pocket" Finally after decades we can re-purpose that pocket in our jeans. So shall we call them now "Buds pocket" 2. The fit, that could be in your ears while sleeping. Now I only hope that I won't get "omelette du fromage". But if it gets me some game to the opposite sex, hell yeah. 3. Addressing how the mic sound WHILE on phone call. And not while audio recorder app. 4. Addressing the hinge how that feels. 5. The contacts has primary function supposedly its called wings which help the fit and stay in the ear. Only wish for a matte colour.... Hopefully the next iteration of the live
I totally disagree with you they do not let in a lot of noise I’m not sure what type of environment that you are in but they sound pretty good for the price point I don’t know if you’re an audio file or not they’re not the best for the price but they’re not the worst either. Maybe you should reconsider your statements because if you got them on pre-order if you order the note phone and got them for $21 they’re actually the best earphoneThat you can buy.
They aren't the best whether you were to pay $20 or $200, not saying they're bad because they're not but not great imo. Ignorance is bliss though it's probably one of those things you wouldn't notice unless you tried higher quality buds
@@nikolaparini7664 Some stores might let customers try out their earphones personally but depending on locations. Which type of earbuds you're most comfortable wearing, is it the in ear style like Sony XM3, Buds + or open style like Beans, Airpods? Are they worth it. I'd say No. If you an impulsive buyer lime my dumb ass then you would buy them regardless of the 1 or 10 negative reviews but. They dont stay in ear and you have to constantly adjust and because of design the sound, sounds super distant when they slightly pop out of ear
Thought to get one but as a music head this looks like "not my cup of tea". Comfort and application control stand secondary for me but the music is what stands out primary.
i don't think the sound quality and the nc is worth the price that samsung sell it Imma just stick with a headphone or buy the airpods pro great bid btw, Idk how you don't get much views with this kind of production
Well once again I have to explain this to a youtuber, the anc is not exactly what u would think of it is a low version of noise cancelation that blocks out low to mid sounds, which allows voices to be heard much clearer. I makes s full day mix of noise cancelation and awareness sound. Their purpose is to go for comfort and anc is actually incrediblely uncomfortable thats y they added an awareness sound. I would highly recommend for trains and flights bc u will hear any announcements. The sound quality is more crisp on the buds live, but better on the buds +. Buds + r all around the best earbuds on the market if u consider Airpods pro anc great, the passive noise cancelation on the original buds design is better. The battery is great, they have the 2nd best call quality on the market, and the best awareness sound on the market. Aslo the buds live r not an upgrade they r more of an alternative.
You can still get the app on the app store, yes. As for the recommendation, it depends on what you want them for. As long as you aren't going to be taking them in areas where there's a lot of noise, they're a good pair of "earbuds."
They looked really nice i wanted to grab them when I pre-ordered my note 20 ultra but instead went with the galaxy watch cause I had the galaxy buds pluses already
you do know the buds are made so you can hear people's voice right? Thats the whole point of the open design. Its all about comfort and openness. The ANC was just a bonus they added in. If you're walking down the street, do you want to hear a car honking at you before it kills you? Yea? then these are for you. If you want good ANC get head phones not ear buds.
I have the beans bud live and my experience are pretty average the point is the product is overrated and as per the advertisement, the noise cancellation is barely filtering noise to my surronding
I just got mine yesterday, they are terrible for me. The touch controls are so sensitive that my hair activates it all the time. The noise cancelling is non existant. Since they don't go into the ear, and the noise canceling doesn't work, there's so much noise all the time. Even if the sound is good, I wouldn't know. Beyond that, since there is so much noise, I end up playing the music quite loud- and everyone around me can here it. I suggest waiting for the next version. Not worth it.

Lol iFixit proved that these were probably gonna be named beans all along till someone put their foot down and vetoed it....shame :/
Albus Dumbledore the person didn’t do marketing ...naming these that officially would have assure so much more sales
Samsung galaxy kidneys
I still have trouble figuring out how correct wear them without feeling uncomfortable
Also, if you're around other Samsung devices, TV, Radio, or phone you will going to have a lot of interrupt sound or disconnect
Would you say they let in more noise than Aipords?
Does that bass boost preset help?
You can slide them into your ear if you want more bass sounds great still no joke actually with a 3d surround player they fit just fine slid into the ear oddly o.o
Mark do u recommend these for quality music lovers like me? I was much into APTX HD sound till date for my True Wireless, Neckband. I m a audiophile tbh.
I'm not really the right person to ask as I am not an audiophile myself, sorry!
@@MarkSpurrell okay my bad. Btwn @MarkSpurrellYT is that u on Twitter? It's not verified yet, so curious to confirm n follow az well. 😁
THANK YOU.... finally reviewer that address all my questions in one go;
1. They fit in a regular "pocket watch pocket" Finally after decades we can re-purpose that pocket in our jeans. So shall we call them now "Buds pocket"
Can you do a comparing video with the air pods pro
Better than buds plus?
I totally disagree with you they do not let in a lot of noise I’m not sure what type of environment that you are in but they sound pretty good for the price point I don’t know if you’re an audio file or not they’re not the best for the price but they’re not the worst either. Maybe you should reconsider your statements because if you got them on pre-order if you order the note phone and got them for $21 they’re actually the best earphoneThat you can buy.
They aren't the best whether you were to pay $20 or $200, not saying they're bad because they're not but not great imo. Ignorance is bliss though it's probably one of those things you wouldn't notice unless you tried higher quality buds
nice strike freedom in the desk
Can you do a galaxy buds+ comparison plz!!
which is more comfortable? Live or Buds+?
Live all the way, I have both.
Did you already review airpods pro?
4:00 first review where they talk about wearing them while sleeping
Why does nobody discuss the connectivity issues??? I am exchanging mine for a third time now. These headphones are not worth it.
I like how you called those earbuds Mr beans 😃😃😃
which is better: galaxy beans, galaxy buds+ or sony wf-1000xm3? and above all, why?
Depends on which design fit your ear the best. This is important because the fit can proportionately affecting sound quality.
@@obidean3964 i know, but unfortunately to try headphones you have to buy them😫😫😫
@@obidean3964 and if you find grammatical errors sorry, but they are due to the translator. I am Italian.
@@nikolaparini7664 Some stores might let customers try out their earphones personally but depending on locations.
Which type of earbuds you're most comfortable wearing, is it the in ear style like Sony XM3, Buds + or open style like Beans, Airpods?
Sony XM3
✅ The best ANC
✅ Great sound
❌ Huge case
❌ No wireless charging
Samsung Buds+
✅ Great sound
✅ Wireless charging, compact case
✅ The best battery life, 11 hours
❌ No ANC (but passive seal quite decent)
Samsung Beans
✅ Great sounds (if your ear can fit well)
✅ Wireless charging, compact design
❌ ANC not great
Summary (no brainer buy)
✅ Best ANC - Sony XM3
✅ Best battery life - Samsung Buds+
✅ Open style - Samsung BEANS
Hope this helps you. If you still has more questions, can ask me again, I always open for help :) Also, don't worry, English also not my first language hehe, we cool. Cheers from Malaysia 🇲🇾
Not sure how you tested these but you need to pay more attention to your review. This is way better product than air pods.
Are they worth it. I'd say No. If you an impulsive buyer lime my dumb ass then you would buy them regardless of the 1 or 10 negative reviews but. They dont stay in ear and you have to constantly adjust and because of design the sound, sounds super distant when they slightly pop out of ear
I heard that when we play games like pubg Mobile , it gives the sound a bit of late when taking shots
Thats true but through galaxy wearable app you can toggle on playmode which solves the delay
Thought to get one but as a music head this looks like "not my cup of tea". Comfort and application control stand secondary for me but the music is what stands out primary.
Fair! Comfort and convenience are king for me, but I'm not an audiophile. To each their own!
@@MarkSpurrell agreed 😃 Loved the video as alwayz 🤘🏻
HOW Receive calls to answer & disconnect with that, NO any f*n videos talks about it
i don't think the sound quality and the nc is worth the price that samsung sell it
Imma just stick with a headphone or buy the airpods pro
great bid btw, Idk how you don't get much views with this kind of production
Thank you!
Please make a lava lamp review
Please do the SONY 1000 XM4s
It's coming!
6:35 that’s a surprise
Watching this video on beans
Do they work with the iPhone
Yes!
Mark Spurrell Would you recommend these at all can I still get the app for these
You can still get the app on the app store, yes. As for the recommendation, it depends on what you want them for. As long as you aren't going to be taking them in areas where there's a lot of noise, they're a good pair of "earbuds."
Mark Spurrell OK thank you
They looked really nice i wanted to grab them when I pre-ordered my note 20 ultra but instead went with the galaxy watch cause I had the galaxy buds pluses already
you do know the buds are made so you can hear people's voice right? Thats the whole point of the open design. Its all about comfort and openness. The ANC was just a bonus they added in. If you're walking down the street, do you want to hear a car honking at you before it kills you? Yea? then these are for you. If you want good ANC get head phones not ear buds.
it's exactly what the live is you still connected to the outside world lol
Black and White are boring colours for tech products. I bought the Buds Plus in blue. I'll buy these in Mystic Bronze
I have the beans bud live and my experience are pretty average the point is the product is overrated and as per the advertisement, the noise cancellation is barely filtering noise to my surronding
That's not 60fps
It does hurting my ear canal
MAGIC BEANS 😊😊
These have plenty of low end, even if your favorite earphones were the oh so awful Beats by Dre
That's a lie , I bought them guys and they're not comfortable at all .
