Thanks so much for posting the entire matches on these, instead of just the last moment. It really gives context to these, when I haven't seen the whole thing before.
I have this saved to my “watch later” list but I’m actually watching it again. I don’t know if any bowler has faced more pressure than she did here being the only woman bowling against men at a PBA televised major tournament. I enjoy watching the way she maintains her composure and focus through the match. It’s a lesson for us all. Kudos to her. She was in a zone.
Same here but at a tournament in Raleigh, NC. She was eliminated from the tournament but returned for the awards ceremony dressed in her evening dress, hair down and make up. She looked beautiful and graciously signed my bowling pin. Beautiful person inside and out. She made history here.
Kelly, I don't care what you have been doing recently. you changed the world of bowling for so many people on this day than you can ever imagine. I hope you never stop trying and I hope you never stop inspiring! GO KK!!! You are truly----GIRL POWER!!!
Have to say this is a pleasant surprise to see at #3 because it really was a powerful performance for Kulick and nearly flawless all the way around on such a big stage.
It was because of Kelly Kulick and her epic win here that I went and got the Ebonite Mission later on that year, although its follow-up, the Mission 2.0, would be the ball I recorded my first USBC sanctioned honor score with. She sold me this ball by making it work in the Tournament of Champions and winning with it.

Guitarzan Chris Barnes is my favourite bowler because I like his swing, but in particular I like his behaviour on the lanes. Some people say that he isn't a good sportsman only because once he didn't shake his opponent's hand (Ryan Ciminelli in that case), but it happened just once and they judge by what they have seen once without knowing Chris at all (ignorant). I'm glad to know that you defend him 💪
What is even more amazing to me is that ♀️ professional bowler Kelly Kulick won by seventy (70) points, and with a score of two hundred, sixty-five (265) 😀😀😀😀😀.
Kelly's performance at the T of C was one of the greatest performances in ALL OF BOWLING. Kelly dominated the tournament. Kelly could have bowled 299 on one of her earlier shots. I would have put it number 2. Number 3 is good.
Believe it or not, two of the countless times that this woman has done better than this actually happened near the end of Friday of this same tournament before the telecast. This telecast took place two days later, on a Sunday.
This came up in my RUclips suggestion and so glad it did. Any bowler would of been satisfied with the game she bowled with the only blemish being the 7 10 split. I don't think many titles and especially majors would of been won with a score that high. I especially like the strike and reaction in the 9th frame
The video quality of this broadcast is absolutely unacceptable for ESPN in 2010. This is horrible. Amazing moment though Edit: I mean look at 8:39, what the fuck, I've literally seen better quality video from the 1960's
The original masters of the programs are not always available for digitizing for "side projects" like a YT channel. This might have been sourced from an aircheck dub or who knows maybe even a VHS. This was shot in standard def, not HD. (I used to work in broadcast post-production for 27 years).
I also feel bad for Chris Barnes cuz He lost the 2008 TOC Finals and He lost the 2010 TOC Finals Again, He lost the 2011 USBC Masters finals he lost again in 2012 Masters Finals
It was only the 2nd time a woman had ever made a telecast. It was the first time a woman had made a major telecast. Until last year it was the only time a woman had won a PBA title. Regardless of how they feel about equality this was a rare event for any sport. It was PBA history. That's why it's #3.
It was the first time a woman beat a man for a real title/championship. The only other time a woman had beat a man up until Kelly Kulick was an exhibition match back in the 1973, when Billie Jean King beat Bobbie Riggs in a "battle of the sexes" exhibition match. This was FOR REAL, for a title. That is why this is a big issue.
One of the best bowlers in the country wins a Profesional tournament here. What's so hard to understand? How can you stage bowling anyway? That's ridiculous
All I want to know is if it's all about equality then why is it that women can compete in men's sporting events but men can't compete in women's events.. supposed to be equal correct
Chunky yes there is a tour for everyone which was basically always considered the men's tour but women demanded equality and the right to compete on the PBA tour for more money and yet they still get to have their own women's only tour.. how is that equal

I met Kelly at AMF Bowlero in Wauwatosa Wi for the 07 Masters very nice lady.. Congrats Kelly you rock.. Always loved watching you

This was such a memorable tournament; Kelly deserved it no doubt.
I still don't know how this isn't the greatest moment in PBA history
I'm a guy. But, "GIRL POWER" to Kelly Kulick.
I never get tired of watching this match!
Me too, I probably have watched this at least 50 ti!es.
I completely forgot that she won this tournament with a 265. Bowling a 265 in the final of a major tournament is epic no matter who you are.
Absolutely. Anything above a 240 is a great game in a major tournament.
What a magical moment for Kelly and her mom in attendance! Her 265 was epic!
Kelly, I don't care what you have been doing recently. you changed the world of bowling for so many people on this day than you can ever imagine. I hope you never stop trying and I hope you never stop inspiring! GO KK!!! You are truly----GIRL POWER!!!
This is #1 in my book
Have to say this is a pleasant surprise to see at #3 because it really was a powerful performance for Kulick and nearly flawless all the way around on such a big stage.
This was a great match. So good I watched it twice back to back. Chris is awesome and has/had a great career, but I couldn't help but cheer for Kelly

I come back to this video every few years to watch K absolutely shred racks with that red mission. Absolutely nuts

Happy 10 year anniversary of this moment!
Kelly kulick and Liz Johnson are the 2 women bowlers that have won PBA titles
Yes, in 2017 I guess.
To those who think Barnes is a bad sportsman... think again: 17:12.
Guitarzan Chris Barnes is my favourite bowler because I like his swing, but in particular I like his behaviour on the lanes. interview during the match is so cool
This was an amazing moment for Kelly kulick
I'm glad Rob Stone was there to call this great match.
Bowling is the best sport
Absolutely legendary milestone in terms of sports ALTOGETHER.
HAHAHA 17:45 Kelly gives her mother the trophy, Mom says "I'll make it an ash tray"
Mika, you are a great sport and a gentlemen! The value of Kelly’s win is only based upon Mika’s exceptional bowling prowess! So, it’s win/win.
K2 rules! Barnes what a class act.
great game
she dominated that day
Believe it or not, two of the countless times that this woman has done better than this actually happened near the end of Friday of this same tournament before the telecast. This telecast took place two days later, on a Sunday.
She is pure joy to watch.
Kelly is so humble. Such a inspiration to me and so many others.

Is that the guy from Bowling for Soup sitting in the corner in the front row?
Kelly gave her Mother that trophy and she looked at her like what do you want me to do with this???
I also feel bad for Chris Barnes cuz He lost the 2008 TOC Finals and He lost the 2010 TOC Finals Again, He lost the 2011 USBC Masters finals he lost again in 2012 Masters Finals
ik but hes still a hall of famer and one of my favorite bowlers ever
13:53 stone 8
HAMBONE!!!!! Rob Stone Rules
2:56
(This is so I can find my spot later)
KELLY KULICK WINNER: 48TH ANNUAL PBA TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS
KELLY KULICK WINNER: 48TH ANNUAL PBA TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS
#3? That's it?
No offence to Billie Jean King who is an exceptional sportsperson herself but I think this was a true Battle of the Sexes.
she has thrown 5 in row before america...
9:39 The least confident "absolutely" ever.
So a person that won the TOC is third place.
If females truly aren’t different to you why make it a big issue that Kulick won?
iconredesign lmao guy with anime icon upset a woman won something and was recognized for it
Kulick is a legend. Stfu

Won the tournament with a 265. She got 10 out of 12 strikes in the final. That's a superb performance no matter who is bowling.

2010? This looks like it was in 1989! The video quality is shocking.
Welcome to DVR, let's see some better footage from you.
If only Rob Stone hadn't called the match... Oh well, nothing is perfect.
Rob Stone Rules. I was at the 07 Masters when he called his first PBA Tournament and he's been great
whats wrongwith rob stone? lol
I just personally don't like his style.
2010 Woman winning PBA event was so staged.
I disagree
One of the best bowlers in the country wins a Profesional tournament here. What's so hard to understand? How can you stage bowling anyway? That's ridiculous
@@ddd2rs993 LOL out loud. One of the best women bowlers, who as a group are head and shoulders beneath the men.
@@ddd2rs993 exactly, its a professional stage on national tv that comment by fjvideo is dumb,
All I want to know is if it's all about equality then why is it that women can compete in men's sporting events but men can't compete in women's events.. supposed to be equal correct

Why does it matter? You guys couldn't even compete with the women
AllyourBase3 lol perfect example of not checking someone's channel before running your mouth
revz1373 why would I give a fuck about your channel you dumb mouth breather
just think now a ceepy dude can do this!!!!!
