I have the same year and I can’t believe I’m actually watching this. I am in south louisiana and we are expecting snow for the first time in decades up to 6 inches. Thanks for the demo
@@The_cajun_lady ohh cool. Yeah I was in New Orleans not too long ago. Anyway my advice is to not drive but if you do, soft brake way in advance and keep your speeds down. Good luck. Yeah 6 inches is nuts,
@ thank you 🙏 I appreciate it. I’m thinking you said: one is less than two? Go with 1? I have read that Odyssey doesn’t really do well unless snow tires are on so I think it’s probably best I just don’t drive. A wreck would be devastating. I fear getting to work and back. I just left Florida and I’m in SW Pennsylvania (hairpin turns and very steep twisting roads.
@@7gshark That doesn't answer my question. I'm curious because I'm weighing buying this vehicle vs another with AWD. If it's slipping like that with snow tires I'd like to know.
@@slawekbielawa369 these had factory wheels. but I can tell you that I have had 2wd cars and put snow tires on them and it made a huge difference. So if you're buying a FWD, with snow tires you should be fine

Man I love that color
Would I put my 2008 Honda odyssey in low gear 1 or 2?) in my attempt to drive on snowy mountain roads?
@@GoAskAlice23 yes low gear helps with drive slower in snow. One is the Jess of two so I personally would go with that

@ yep I’m close by in the Midwest, if it snows bad I try not to drive. Snow tires make an incredible difference though
@@7gshark what brand is considered snow tires for all mini vans? Or just specifically the honda odyssey
@ people like the Bridgestone blizzak ws 90. Costco had a pretty good sale now
I mean what changes when you pit it in snow mode?
The engine seems to go to a lower heat and I’m sure the traction control gets more sensitive
Did you have 4 winter tires installed?
