  • Becoming a doctor has always been seen as a secure profession. Regardless of how the broader economy does there is always a need for medical professionals to provide care. This fact causes interest in pursuing a medical career to increase during times of economic uncertainty. It seems that we are about to enter a recession. Could we end up seeing more applications to medical school during this downturn?

    I feel like medicine is such a vast and dynamic field that people entering it with the lifestyle primarily in mind isn't such a huge issue, from my experience as a med student I feel like it's a field where there's something for whatever personality type you are, each speciality is so different and it's not that hard to find something satisfying and fulfilling

    I’m not as concerned with the reason why people get into medicine. That changes for a lot of people over time.
    I can understand how you would be concerned about that because surgery residencies have such high attrition rates.

    Point number one. Please more abs showing videos waking up from bed ;P
    Second. You are incredibly attractive and successful! That being said, watching your videos from 2 years ago, compared to the current one; it's incredibly how stress and lack of sleep affects aging... same problem here. Nothing is free in life, I guess.
