We don't rise to the level of our goals, we fall to the level of our habits. If someone chooses not make their bed and not keep their room, living space, and kitchen tidy, it's a massive reflection of their internal state and standards-they'll do the bare minimum they need to do to get by and fill the rest of their time with entertainment and distraction, not meaningful change.
