The big teams have upgrades some parts for the Australian GP weekend and Mercedes are doing a lot of different experiments for there unreliable w15 problems. Aston martin bring a new front wing and Ferrari experiment a bit more on there sf24 set up. plenty of interesting parts to experiment with in the weekend.

Watched FITV interview with Gasly. It's always interesting to me when drivers gets cagey about answering questions about their car. But it was Alpine at the launch that spoke so highly of the car and then it gets exposed on the track. Now everyone wants answers!

Teams dont just bringbone wing or one setup option like this channel suggests. Also the floor is more than just the edges. Unless you look at underneath you can't really tell if the floor is different. Same thing with the being teams.change the setup of the cars over the practice session to see what is working for them.

Surely for Australia, you configure the car for medium/high downforce and get the benefit through the corners. With 4, the drs zones, most of the lap you don't need to be running really low downforce as the wing is open.

@F1Unchained if mercedes are a second of the simulator times, then that wouldn't be that far off what they were losing in sector 1 in jeddah. On new tyres is was 6/10s atleast so on older tyres was it more of a gap, really need to look at sector 1 times compared to the rest of the top 8 for the whole of the jeddah weekend.

7:08 We don't know what is going on underneath the floor, so it coud actually be 2 really different designs, right? Oh and that thing about the simulations being 1 seconds of could also indicate correlation issue's, something they have been struggling with since the new regulations.

Do you think it's possible Aston went for a mix of lower front downforce and higher rear downforce to counteract the degredation they're facing from the tyres slipping die to oversteer from the previous two races?

Like you mentioned I think the big teams will bring major upgrades at imola, probably stuff they wasn’t able to get ready for the start of the season.
Mclaren and such.
I think any upgrade till then are just going to be marginal and won’t really have such an impact.
Imola is when we can expect the grid order to be changed

I want to know cause I’ve been watching f1 and this channel for a while and I know you’re also American (I think). But do you think f1 is boring? I’ve been watching since 2020 and I notice plenty of f1 fans have a superiority complex when taking to fans of other motorsport regardless of how well they view their racing series. So in the context of entertainment, do you think f1 is up there with other racing series?
I still believe that F1 is the most entertaining Motorsport. I think F1 sometimes requires a lot of variables for close racing, but just watching the cars go as fast as they do is what I purely enjoy. Obviously close racing is what I want as well. I think it’s very entertaining
I think people should just watch the sport they want and shut up lmao. I don't care if wec, indy or what else is better/worse to watch, I will watch it regardless of what you think

They still hold a lot of the same characteristics

According to Alex, it's completely different (I'm sure there's ZERO racing driver hyperbole there) and they've lost that straight-line edge that's been so critical for them (to compensate for weak corner speeds) on tracks like this.
