Let's take a look at my improvised trapping basket aka "pack basket" and the trapping kit that I carry daily while cage trapping and working my trapline. I will do a show and tell of each item and also show the catch of the day while on the trapline.

Great video with great ideas. Love the packing of the bucket. Great reminder of things to carry. Got to make me a bucket.
Always one if my favorite channels, always learning and just a pleasure to watch!
11:23 Wazoo Tracking Bandana!!! Woohoooo!!! Thanks Matt!
Great learning opportunity here. Thank You for sharing.
Awesome as always, that elusive Bobcat will be yours soon enough!!!
Thank you so much brother! I am hoping to catch one but so far, I haven't seen but a few tracks. They are like the ghosts of the woods! I look forward to seeing you soon!
Many Thumbs WAY UP:.
You may be on to something great here Matt. I hate hauling my garbage out after a long camping trip. Consider this: Roving bands of custodians in all our State and National parks with trashcans on their backs.
LOL! Bushcraft Garbage Men...Sounds like the next reality special on Discovery 😂
Just a thought about food attractions.
I used to have issues with raccoons coming in to my rabbitry and chicken run.
They absolutely love pelleted rabbit and chicken feed. I used five gallon plastic buckets with snap on lids and they could turn over and pull off the lids. I used a cage trap baited with a treat and they were not particularly trap shy. I did use a little camo but not sure it was needed.
Matt thank you for the awesome information on running a trap line, it's not just information but educational as well. take care, stay healthy an God bless you and your Family always....

@@blackhatbushcraft Same to you brother👊🏻
Really interesting . Here in the U.K. we can’t “ legally “ use these and of course we don’t have as diverse a selection of animals , but this is really interesting none the less .
Enjoyed....!!
Thank you brother! I really appreciate you taking the time to tune in and share a kind word!
The raccoon is such a beautiful little animal but very destructive and very mean
Thanks Matt good information just getting into trapping myself thanks for the video that's the way I'm learning from people like you. Thanks again.
I am really glad you found this to be helpful John! I am definitely not and expert in this area but I learn something new every day I go out there. It is a fun experience and learning opportunity! Good luck and I am wishing you much success.
Great vid! Learned quite a bit! I referenced you in a video I made recently about Swiss Army knives. I let folks know that I learned how to make a knife lanyard from you and provided a link to your vid! That was a great vid you made and very helpful! Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you so much for your kind words and the support! I am glad that one was helpful for you. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving as well, it went by way too fast for me! Take care

Thank you Albert! I am curious in what ways yours differs from mine. I appreciate you tuning in and commenting!
Any chance we"ll be seeing a certain new knife review in the near future got a teaser taste would love to see it being put through its paces ???
Definitely! It is certain to come before too long. I can't wait to post that one honestly :) I hope to hear your thoughts when the time comes. Take care and thank you for your interest!
In my area the racoons and opossums get in to trash cans and gardens, I do think human scent deters them.
I bet especially so in the woods. I think they get used to the scent when they are around homes or in neighborhoods but out in the woods, I think they get more skittish.
