Great review Stephen,helped greatly apart from on our car there was another hidden screw underneath the door control panel accessed by prising the whole control panel out and unplugging it. Many thanks.
Hi stephen I’ve too a Micra 2017 with a similar problem Actually I ear a speaker buzz on driver top door. Could you give me some hint to dismount ? And also, which dimension of speaker I can buy? Thanks
im from Cavan. i just replaced the blown speaker and now it works fine. the drivers side has a smaller speaker on the dash to deal with higher pitch sounds. but the door speaker is primaraly for low tones and "base". that was the faulty one

Didn't mention removing the switch panel and then the 10mm bolt securing the door card in place .

As for the speakers: Do you have the 2-speaker-setup or 4? Any improvement in sound after the change?
