The BMW 7-series is one of the most iconic German sedans - the full-size sedan from the Bavarian manufacturer has been with us since the late 70s, and the current, seventh generation, code named G70 debuted in 2022. The fully electric variant, called i7 comes in 3 variants: eDrive50, xDrive60, and the top M70. Each i7 comes with a 105 kWh battery pack, and is built on a 400-volt architecture capable of fast charging.
There aren't many alternatives to the i7, but you should also check out the Mercedes EQS Sedan and a Lucid Air. If you want a luxury electric sedan, look at a Porsche Taycan, Tesla Model S, or an Audi e-tron.

The Lucid Air won the Goodwood Festival of Speed hill climb handling event in the hands of Ben "The Stig" Collins. Most auto journalists put it among the best-handling sedans on the planet.
I have owned three Audi R8s (V8 Coupe, V10 Coupe, V10 Spyder), two Tesla Model S's (P90D and Plaid), a Mercedes SL55 AMG, a Jaguar, and a Corvette. I find my Lucid Air Dream Edition Performance a better driver than all of them except the R8s.

@@tomesize4570 It is. Best car I've ever owned in terms of balance of power, handling, room, features, and structural solidity.
I think the i7 xdrive60 is the sweet spot in the lineup. This one costs too much for what it can deliver over the next model down, imo.

5:50 the ambient light colours is changing. How do you make it change itself like that?
I selected the "Relax" driving mode. From what I remember, the ambient lights are changing in "Sport", "Expressive" and "Relax"
@@EUROCARGUY sport and expressive mode has their own colour. But what I mean is that at 5:50 the lights are constantly changing to different colour itself. So that's the relax mode?

I'm guessing the electric i7 is now the top of the line 7-series replacing the 760i... I don't mind the technology but the design is a bit too aggressive when you get the M sport package... too much black pieces
