Bill is smart he will surround himself with the best college and NFL people and they will flock to work for him. His name will get recruits in the door at least the first couple of years. A great hire to make your team relevant
Nope, you're wrong. He may get some for a year or two. But UNC is a basketball school. They have a small stadium, small fan base, and do not have the boosters backing the football program. He may do somewhat well in the ACC. Bur, no better than anyone else. Against the SEC or Big 10, the talent gap will show itself. They should have gone with a younger coach wanting to prove himself. This will not end well.
@ well I guess that’s why you would go that route. If a huge name like “Bill Bellicheck”is interested knowing all of what you said then you give him a chance. If anyone could turn it around it would be him and his connections both financially and NFL related. At the very least because of his age set the foundation for the future administration.
He won't ever have the player relations that he needs in college. If he does good he is going to really have to surround himself and it still probably won't turn out good
No they won’t. This year the SEC had sooo much parity. It’s the strongest year it’s ever had. Very competitive! A winless SEC team could’ve upset anyone. So many good players on the teams. No conference is remotely close.
@ Key words are “this year”. I said next year. Anytime you have to replace a starter at QB and don’t have a clear replacement you will take a step back. And that doesn’t mean they won’t be good teams and beat most out of conference teams. But as for the SEC standard they will be down.
@ Bama fans said the same thing about this season after loosing Nick. It’s common since their most dynamic player is leaving. Before you ask, he touches the ball every offensive play. And the defense will never be the same because you have an offensive minded head coach so his priority will be offense first. But Bama did loose 3 games so they will probably maintain that same record but not as dynamic on offense.

Alabama will not be down. They just had #3 class. We are replacing a starter at QB too, so we gone be down?
