Hey Hey - I spend today to test the space we have. Should have done that before I got the genius Idea of "Hey, I will just fill all of the empty place with fence-pillars" - I was not able to delete the 8 chests and the 9 gardening fields and I can still unlock one tile with writs, as I just started the game like a week ago; Perhaps we get more space with writs, I don't know that. But assuming we don't, then we have Space for 2038 things per plot.
Something I discovered yesterday, if you pile your treasure chests the long way. You don't have to hop up them, they just become stairs. Also the item limit is 2000

There’s also a limit on add-ons to your house….capped at 15 which is kinda foolish esp with the size of the lot they gave us. Currently capped at 15 should at least be 20-25

Should at least notified I can’t buy or something like that…hopefully they up the size cause can’t have all those furniture/crafters and then you can’t expand your house would be a shame honestly

My guild and I took turns clearing out all the trees and rocks for each of our houses the first day of closed beta. And then there was a roll back, and all my rocks and trees came back. I was honestly so relieved! My house looks so much better in the middle of nature than in the middle of an empty field. I went full 'witch in the forest' vibe.
Awh hopefully they do something like add an item limit counter … that would have helped me immensely. Their videos for this game had such full cluttered beautiful builds, I want to be able to do that kind of decorating.
I am having the same issue. Idk why they put a limit for decorations. Can't we just decorate as much as we want so we can express more ourselves inside the game :((( Decorating is fun not until you hit this LIMIT. Kinda frustrating because there's a lot of room for my house to decorate and already hit this limit so early. It sucks.
Yeah I understand the frustration. I imagine it’s because of either server limitations or because this is going to have to be able to load on Nintendo switch when the game fully releases. I hope they at least add a counter for decorative items, kind of like the building counter that they have in the H menu. It would being able to know how close we are to the limit at least.

So for dreamlight valley the devs did up the limit to 6k for PC and left it at 3k for the switch, maybe they could do something like that here, but I 100% agree - the switch is often the limiting factor unfortunately. From what I've read in their Discord, it seems the item limit may be 2000 items per plot. Not sure where they got that number from though but that seems to be the number they are all quoting.
Ugh i hit the item limit yesterday, and it was so annoying, because it completely ruined my plans i had for the fences, but i figured out an alternative way to do my garden layout. I’m sure the issue is the fences, if we put them down 1 on 1 like we have done to make the layout more interesting.
I’m sorry you hit the limit but I’m glad you found something that will work for you. And yeah I really think 1 fence stick counts as one item, but I could be wrong.
Your home is so beautiful!! I loved the bedroom layout and also did not like the wallpaper haha. How many hours did you log to build your home like that?
I have my fence line around the front and sides close to my home (have 2 writ rows on the outside edges that I left for trees/forest, and the back side of the fencing butts up against the sides of my home itself and stops.

Hopefully they do gibe us somthing to track the limit .... I think it's every item inside and outside of house but without a counter it's a bit hard to be 100%
For an allegedly cozy game, Palia has a lot of completely unnecessary Limitations of Renown, Gold, Medals, Rooms and now this. It makes the game unpleasant to play. Palia gets more and more unenjoyable and uninteresting for me.
Beautiful house decoration there. I see you put in a lot of efforts into it. To prepare you for POTENTIAL heartbreak in future, let me share with you my experience of losing a bunch of housing deco when I login on day. It is as if some burglars has entered your house and clean off all the valuable stuff and furniture within it. This is probably a bug which I also tend to think and if you think sending a ticket to recover those lost deco will help, lol, you just has to experience the helplessness that you will be subjected to. I am done with this game and uninstall the game seems to be the best solution to my lost deco issue. My problem is solved forever and I wouldn't have to deal with lost deco items ever again.
Oooph I'm so sorry that happened, do log a ticket on the palia website. There was a bug and the devs acknowledged it. They should get you taken care of. Please reach out to them though and I'm sending you all the luck.
@@BarbsCozyCorner I have logged a ticket and the ticketing experience leave me with a feeling of helplessness and hopelessness. They demanded that I upload to them the game log files within 2 days, failure which they will ignore my ticket. I don't want to risk my privacy and security of my PC by uploading something which I don't know what they have logged. So that left me with no options but to be ignored and my only hope of getting back my stuffs (through official tech support) is thus gone. With my kind of attitude, this game company will never support me in any tech related stuff. They probably will solve this current issue if it is a game-wide bug that affects many others but if I ever encounter something that only affect me alone in future, I will not have any means of support anymore. That sealed my decision to leave this game. So if anyone of you are like me not wanting to upload your game log file to them, don't expect them to support you in any form. This is the risk that you must be aware of if you want to continue playing.
@barb I just wanted to give you an update seeing as if it weren't for u this wouldn't have happened. I just got done with my 2nd cake party and ended up with 95 star cakes totaling in 45k and the 1st was about the same tysm now I can get my gazebo
Yup you totally can make another housing plot - I have 5 now :) Luckily limit doesn't seem to affect those as far as I can tell. Hopefully I'm not wrong on that one.
what's the reason of having so many plots why there's a limit of 300k coins i hope they just increase that to at least 500k there's not enough space into storage and limited as 10k why not making an extra storage boxes and craftable with gold bars let's say some end game items and not easy to craft there must be an exception for the fence logically if you removed a single one piece of ur fence u can put a huge piece of furniture is that make any sense

It’s not nitpicking item Limit, having an item limit is 100% expected and understandable which I state in the video and I explain why I think the item limit is in place from a technological standpoint. It’s showing there is an item limit and no item limit indicator yet. It’s beta, things get added and changed - running in to these things is how they get changed. Plus hitting the item limit when you are part way through a big build is no fun, if someone is aware they can plan ahead and not have to redesign. But nitpicking? No, simply making my viewers aware. :)

I removed all my fence early on because I think it looks ugly. Without fence, the property flows into the forest and I really like that look.
Same! I only put a fence around my crops. I placed lots of trees around the yard to make it feel like im more in the woods.

least we know that one I seen it up in corner at first wasn't sure what it meant until I added on to the house.
Ya it's very hard to make the shapes I want with 15 rooms. I want a loop with a courtyard in the middle...
Also the fireplace, steps and porch count towards the limit insane those shouldn’t count tbh

that fencing looks like a few thousand you used, so that is still a HUGE limit. 😅
Considering all our lots are hosted on a server, we had to expect to some capacity that there would be an item limit

just don't have a fence. At least, not around the entire property. Fencing takes up a LOT of space you could use for something else
Yeah I plan on cutting fences by at least half now that I know there's a limit, it's helped alot.

Does the limit include trees? Or do they not count as housing items?
I’m not sure, it does seem to count all furniture, fencing and all other placed items such as food though.
