PSA COLLECTOR that’s cool that you liked Favre growing up. He was fun to watch. Either threw an amazing touchdown or lost the game on a terrible interception. Either way he displayed a passion for the game!
Hi Matt! Just wondering what your thoughts were on the 1991 Rookie Classic 4 sport card of Brett. I have a couple in what I think might be PSA 10’s. All my cards are in great shape from the 80’s to late 90’s and I just recently started collecting football and baseball again. I’m working on getting many of them graded and this is one card that I’m not sure about bcuz if it’s possible worth. I think it may gain ground but what’s your opinion on it at this point? PS I do have a few of the ones on your list! Lol Thanx for all your great info! ~ Greg
Hey Greg, honestly the 1991 Classic 4 sport Favre cards in PSA 10 cases sell for under $20. So it's not worth it right now, however, only 104 are graded PSA 10 so a fairly low population. The demand could grow overtime which would surely increase the value. If you want a copy I would just buy one on eBay. To avoid any possibility of the card you send coming back a PSA 9. I hope this answers your question lol, I could go either way on these. I like the retro look but I wouldn't submit to PSA just buy them off eBay bc you'll essentially be spending the same money without the risk.
PSA COLLECTOR Right on Matt. That’s where I’m trying to draw the line on the cards that are under $35-$40 in PSA 10 form. I think I’ll take your advice and maybe just pick one up cheaper now in a PSA 10. I saw the pop was low so I’m thinking maybe later down the road that’ll help that card. Thanks for the input! That helps! Like I mentioned, I just started getting back into things and going through all my cards which is a ton of fun and I got a few stacks of each sport to possibly have graded. Just trying to go through them all and put on a spread sheet on what they may be worth in a PSA 10 and non graded shape vs the pop on the PSA site. This whole grading thing kind of change the way things are done now and people look at cards because some cards that weren’t exactly worth a whole lot have a very low population and are now worth tons of money and sometimes it’s the opposite for cards that were worth a lot of money and are overpopulated and easy to find and not worth as much as I thought they were or would be. LOL OK man thanks again and thanks for all you do! Love all your videos! Have a great day Matt!
I picked up 1 of those Finest #12 Refractor, it was in those picks of pick ups, I say the 92 Stadium Clud is not a RC because I have 2 1991 Stadium Club Pack fresh RCs straight into protection, I've been sitting on for years, the 92 is 1st in the Packers Uni, the 91 hes in the Southern Miss Uni.
What is a plaque with 14 rookie cards, a signed the day the legend was born in the middle, #42 of 92 with authenticity on the back and a write up about favre worth? Still in packaging but was hung by hole in the back
I have a1991 upper deck star rookie Brett favre rookie card where he's sitting on the bench with a head set on and I believe his southern Mississippi uniform on
#682 stadium club isn't his rc card. I feel it is his sophomore year card. His true rc cards are with the falcons because that was his first team and the team that drafted him in 1991. Great video as always. Keep up the amazing work.
Thanks for the feedback and insight! I think it's funny when people list the '92 Stadium Club as a RC card on eBay. I'm surprised it sells for so much!
Favre earlier card values suffer from being printed in an era of overproduction. I have at least eight different rookies cards graded 9 or better. His rookie card Classic Four Sport #129 also features an action shot of Favre in an NFL game with the Falcons. Even the Star Picks #65 is another live in-game action shot. I have both in a BGS 9.5. 🏈
I really apologize. I wanted to let ya know I truly enjoyed your #1980 and 1981 #1 Rochester Red Wings Junior. Gotta lot of great info from you. THANK YOU ❤
Hey, Matt. I wish I were the one who bought all those cards. I would make a mint today! I have a chance at a Favre RC in the near future. Hopefully the guy pulls two out of the box. It isn't one from this list. Have a good one, buddy.
Damn, i had that #3 card when i still collected 15 years ago. I don't remember ever selling it or throwing it away, but it's not in my binder, oh well.
Kool Video Decent Farve Cards: I was in "PackerTown" in '97. My daughter went to Packer game & became an Official Cheese_Head (Large Foam Hat). I think they beat Chicago that day. Ty 4 Sharing !
Awesome! I wish I had the privilege to watch Favre gun sling up and down the field! Great story of you and your daughter. I'm excited to take my little girl when she gets old enough. 👍
My mother and I used to collect Football Cards together back in the 1990s. We had a house fire in 1997 where I lost all of my baseball, football, basketball cards I am about 99% sure I had that number 1 card and I'm about 80% sure my mom has one as well. Maybe it's hers I'm thinking of but I'm pretty sure I had one. I do know that I had a lot of rookie cards and old baseball and football cards. A really good friend of mine bought a pack of baseball cards in the early 1990s the kind that comes with the bazooka gum. He found a very rare very expensive Yogi Berra worth a lot of money. I now have the 1991 Pro Set Brett favre I think it was number 18 or 19 on your list but hey I am happy to have one of his rookie cards considering all I lost. I had that card at my grandma's when the fire hit so I didn't lose this one thank God. Had I known that number 1 card was so expensive I would have probably had it at my grandma's house too lol I always kept the one with me.
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR heck yes he is and to be honest I believe he should of got MVP for a few years now he is definitely a QB that will be remembered long after he is gone especially for everything he has done for the Seahawks
for his1991 stadium club super bowl xvii card how would they be handed out at super bowl 26 which was in 1983 if he got drafted in 1991 doesn't make sense
I thought the 100 stripe cards could be sent in to Wild Card and they’d give you 100 of that card, but nobody ever took them up on that gimmick/offer. Is that true?
Yep that's exactly what they were intended to be used for. The guy that started the company would send you how ever many cards were on the stripe you send in. At the time it was a great win but looking back it was a horrible idea lol. I have heard of guys having a success story of sending them in and receiving the 10, 20, 50 or however many card. After the business shut down I think those cards just got lost in the mail if anyone sent them in though.
I have a 1991 Score Brett Favre rookie card. Was surprised this didn't make the list. Love the videos!
just watch this one..great job...can't hardly wait for the next video... I love these videos !
Thanks! I have plenty more coming up this weekend for ya!

As a lifelong Packer fan, I think this is your best video yet! Awesome job!
Awesome! Thanks, Jeff. I was a big Favre fan growing up so I had a lot of fun researching this video!

You are doing a GREAT job.❤
I remember those refractors cards, buying tons of packs back in the day
Old School Finest! Those packs are getting more and more expensive. Wish I held onto some
As always a Great video Thanks for the info Matt
Thanks, Allen! I'm glad you enjoyed this one.
Very enjoyable video. As always you give lots of information. Thank you, Steve.
Some really, really nice Brett Farve cards.
I agree! Wish I had some! Even in low grades lol

Another great video, Matt! Maybe the tables will turn in the future for the Favre RC.
Who know's. I think his cards should definitely have more value to them. Maybe in 10 years? lol

Matt you overlooked two cards! I have both the 1996 Skybox Favre 3D NFL MVP Card and the 1996 Skybox SkyMotion Favre NFL on FOX Card!

Nice pick-ups, Brett! Thanks for the insight on the RC. I see them listed on eBay all the time as his rookie card.
Is psa the best grading scenario?

Yeah i never understand why people pay so much for that 1992 rookie when it isn't even his rookie.
I’m thinking because it’s the debut card showing him in his Packer’s uniform. I have that card in a BGS 9.5. Yet I do believe the card number is #683.
