@@jorgeeduardovillalobosmena1213 if I were to nerf him I would reduce the number of holy beams or maybe adjust their hit detection so you can't be hit too frequently by them (like how some multi projectile attacks can only trigger a hit once, but maybe put like a half second delay in so you only get hit by like 1-3 at most) I think that would make surviving him a bit less difficult overall without actually changing any numbers, the phase length is an interesting concept, but I like that the harder bit is longer
@@fwyb3512 I would say it's too soon to say it isn't dodge-able, folks thought you couldn't dodge half of malenia's attacks for like two weeks after the base game dropped
@@Ytinasniiable i watched a lot of videos with radahn fight, and every time when he does that one attack everyone just sekiro-parried it or used a shield on first two attacks. i also tried dodgeing it, and it really is either impossible or very, and i mean very, hard
Your radahn recap was so accurate it was insane. I was having nightmares about the fight and got physically ill with cold symptoms that were mysteriously cured after beating him
the thing is his recap of the first phase is just wrong? he even shows 2 scenes side by side and he is clearly in a different position in one of them, while saying he did exactly the same.. Also his combos are not as random as he says. (havent watched the video further)
I love how we all have different experiences with these bosses, midra took me atleast 30 tries, while i got gaius on my third and romina on my first try
Fr man, I struggled w scadutree avatar where w Messmer the first time I got to his second phase I beat him, ( I think the erdtree avatar / rykard snake dodges paid off)
For real. I can consistently dodge most of his phase one moves, EXCEPT for that one. And if you get caught, it can stun lock you and delete your health bar with the cross slash. It's insane!
@BoundLunar Actually, we never fought Prime Radahn. This was Miquella's controlling Radahn and wasn't Radahn using everything he could've or had. For example, he never used his collapsing stars, for example. Or his bow raining bs on you.
You should have mentioned in the title that this was a difficulty ranking and not a quality ranking, cuz one has nothing to do with the other. Good vid tho
@@fili0938 that strongly depends on what you enjoy about the game Also difficulty in these games rests heavily on the shoulders of your build/play style/willingness to try new strategies You can spend 4 hours trying to learn how to dodge every move, or you can spend 20 minutes changing your build to a guard counter build or something and entirely change the dynamics of the fight
I think I entirely agree with your list with 1 notable exception - Bayle the Dread is easily 2nd or 3rd hardest. You should really go back and try him without the summon helping, because from your video it looks like he’s the only boss you used a summon on. I fought him probably 80 times and didn’t feel like I was even close to beating him… then I summoned Igon in the fight and beat him first try. Igon pulling aggro in phase 2 is extraordinarily valuable.
the summon really doesn’t help much beside shoot a few arrows and draw agro sometimes. I’ve played through the dlc twice and fought bayle with and without the summon and it didn’t really feel any easier
@@alexnota8 It has nothing to do with the damage the summon does. It draws aggro so alot of the bosses attacks like his beams will go on the npc not you and it makes it way easier.
@@BoundLunar No judgments from me - I ended up using him too, and I don’t regret it. Igon being an absolute Chad was one of the best parts of the game for me.
Blackgaol actually does have a special ability. If you get him low, and don’t finish him, he starts shooting a light beam out of his sword, from long distance.
@@BoundLunar No problem, I wouldn't have known either, but then I got REALLY cocky at the end of the fight, and basically stood still, mocking him. Then bro spammed the light beam at me 3 times, from like 20 feet away

Messmer, Bayle, Rellana were the best fights in this DLC, Radahn on the other hand.. it’s good to see him again but god what a nightmare, I literally had to switch to a heavy great shield tank build with the Ant spur rapier with a bleed infusion along side wearing high holy resistance armor to win the fight.
Honestly radahn consort is now my favorite fight in all souls games very fair and punishable anyone who says otherwise just isn't good enough no offense
@@cocorosh7295 Looool, u must be trolling... I played DS1, 2 and 3, Bloodborn and Demon's Souls and i've never seen a boss this hard and so little punishable.
@@kyzerkurosaki4999 I've also played all of them(except 2 and bloodborne) including sekiro and its just a skill issue. The thing is that DS players are used to dodging like 2 or 3 attacks and then the boss kinda stands there like "hit me" while in elden ring you have to earn those openings. In radhan 2nd phase you NEED to dodge INTO him specifically to his left/right sides depending on the move and I notice that alot of people are dodging away from him. Radahn more than any fight rewards you for staying besides him if you aren't next to him or try to run away he's gonna fuck you with his satellite lasers. There also some moves of his that are NOT safe which could explain why you think you could punish him but he just hits you in the middle of it. @@cocorosh7295 U do realize we also played ER in his entierty ? This so called skill issue is a dumb argument, i did not have this problem with any other boss lmao... ER was my first Souls and none of the game bosses made me sweat like that (it's the case for most of people). I did dodge into him, i tried everything, left and right too and i succeed avoiding some but a lot of his attack still touch u. The combos are extremely fast and long, he mix a lot between delayed attacks, Overpowered AOE and fast and agressive combos followed by lasers (forcing u to dodge multiple times for one single move), these lasers impacting also alot your visibility + has real strong damage, a shit ton of information to memorize in so little time since the boss just don't let u breath ... everything u do has to be perfect against him. This is just an incredibly hard boss.
I am a mage using carian slicer, when i changed my talisman to holy damage negation and dragon crest, I already knew I got this in the bag, with the last boss.
With Radahn, there’s only one attack he has that I think might be Waterfowl levels of overtuned, but at least it doesn’t 1-shot (most of the time). He definitely took me anywhere from 100-150 tries, but I definitely felt like I was learning the whole time and that my victory was earned. I can’t wait to fight him again on my other DLC-ready characters
Glad you handled him so quick big dawg wish I was that good lol definitely an insane boss design, I know I said I don’t want to ever do it again but I’m sure I’ll end up back at that staircase at some point
I really feel Radahn was designed with the deflecting hardtear in mind. I fought him at level 130 with a great katana and lions claw with no summons and won after around 50 tries. It never felt unfair, as all his attacks were able to be blocked by the hardtear. I feel like fromsoft was trying to make it hard, yes, but they also were giving you ways to make it easier without summoning. All these bosses are so much harder if you do not use a dlc build. The weapons in the dlc are built for the timings of the dlc bosses, so use a dlc weapon in the dlc.
50 tries is an insane feat great job homie, you make some great points about the DLC too it definitely feels like it wants you to use a lot of the new stuff but I personally felt more of a push to use the new items or tailsmans I never really felt like the weapon was the issue up until redahn
That’s what I feel like too. Don’t think a dlc weapon specifically helps as I used a double scythe strategy and had a lot of fun. I used the deflecting tear for a while before switching it and won after around the same amount of deaths. Was a fun fight, but was a bit unintuitive. Some attacks are still a little bit annoying to dodge (double slash into cross slash and the boulder attack in phase 2)
true if you're only dodging, use ashes of war, craftable equipment and make new and better builds to adapt against the boss attacks, it's a battle of knowledge
true if you're only dodging, use ashes of war, craftable equipment and make new and better builds to adapt against the boss attacks, it's a battle of knowledge
@@matterixo mhm the first two times against ranella I got wrecked so I took time changed my build found some more fragments and then wasted her on my 3rd try.
That’s a great connection ds3 had some good bosses too, personally I feel like everything outside of top 5 feels like a pretty typical Elden ring fight but the last 5 are just insane, those take some crazy focus
I had the same mentality, all fights I feel I’m learning the moves, improving, getting better each fight. Final boss phase 2, it’s just like if I beat him, it was just lucky, I have no grasp on this fight.
Yeah same here. Enjoyed the hell out of the DLC to get dissapointed by the final boss. Really did not like it being Radahn and the second face of the fight is just pure nightmare. Would be okay if you could see even half of the time what is going on.
If you keep the right distance when the dancer does the dance move, she seems to literally dance forever because NPCs dont run out of stamina, you have to get in close to get her to finish the dance lol
Appreciate it big dawg 🤝 I try to play every souls game (that’s not a PlayStation exclusive), I should have a couple more vids for SOTE then ya boys gettin ready for black myth wukong
This is interesting. You did way better than me on the basic fights (I died 14 to death knight and 8 to blackgaol knight), but I died way less on most of the remembrance bosses. Messmer took me 35 tries, dancing lion 5, midran 19, Bayle took 4, Romina took 8, and Radahn took me 70.
That is pretty wild good shit dawg lol you’re not the first person to say something like that, it’s always pretty interesting to hear diff ppls experiences
I personally loved radahn as a fight, it did feel like the dance you said the games revolve around to me! I one hundred percent respect your experience and opinion though, at first the boss seemed oppressive to me but after the first 10 tries I could SEE THE NUMBERS, I was in a flow state for the first phase and after that I could do phase 1 hitless for ever try afterwards until I locked down phase 2. In my successful attempt I had 10 out of 12 red flasks left and 1 blue left. For context I used a pure strength build with giants crusher the standard golden vow+ FGMS. It was hard at first looking for opportunities but I found a style that worked for me and learned exactly which attacks I could and could not punish! Edit: I was also Scadutree blessing level 17 when I beat Radahn, so not maxed but had a decent bit of exploration under my belt. Beat him in about 25-30 tries
@@BoundLunar I get that honestly there’s so many effects going on in phase 2 that it’s a bit overwhelming. What helped me is treating it just like phase 1 for most of the attacks. At least for me the same dodge timings worked for all his combos from phase one. They just look a lot scarier because of the explosions afterwards, but that could just be my super tanks build. I’m starting to sit at the boss door and put my summon down to help everyone get through this amazing DLC!
With the Lamenter fight, he has a mechanic wher he instant kills you if enough summons have despawned by timing out. For every summon that lives until they time out a thing starts revolving around you neck. If these revolving pieces form a complete circle around your neck, you instantly die. These pieces do not dissapear untill the fight is over. So you are basically on a timer that you can stall by killing as many summons as possible.
I had 20 blessings, dmg negate charm and holy negate charm and wearing 2 pieces of solitude armour, and his dmg was manageable. I could use up all my flasks before dying (sometimes) I spent properly 2hrs learning his moveset then found his weaknesses, Frost and Rot. Once i added that to my mix, he went down. 2nd phase is alot and very hard to find how to dodge.
Messmer was such an awesome fight that will stick with me for a very long time. Probably my favorite boss they have ever made. I knew it was going to be a good fight, but damn that second phase had me just giggling like a child. So fucking awesome
You missed a mechanic with the lamenter. If there are clones left when he laughs it puts that many stacks of lament on you. At a certain number you succumb to lament.
@@BoundLunargreat video. I truly agree. That radahn fight feels like it comes straight outta kingdom hearts. But you ain't sora. It took 8 hours for me, my mimic and Ansbach to bring that mf down on ng±4
As someone on ng+14ish (ik it caps it difficultly scaling at ng+7) Radahn was just straight up unfun to fight phase 1 was actually really cool and fun and phase 2 feels like actual torture
The final boss was amazing. Extremely difficult but ultimately fair. His light clones can be blocked/deflected with every weapon. The light pillars after each attack just forces you into tigheter roll angles. He gives ample of healing oprutunities. The only thing i don't know what to handle is the tree peice combo ending in a cross slash but there is probably some way to dodge it. 10/10 it was horrible.
Hell yeah dawg 🤝 and You’re honestly not the only one I’ve heard a huge % of ppl say that same exact thing about the 3 swing that ends in the double slash
For the most part Radahn first phase is fine, EXCEPT for that one left, right, double chop move, NO ONE I've seen has been able to avoid that. You either dodge the left and get hit by the right, get hit by the right and dodge the left, or just die from both. On the odd moment, you CAN find a sweet spot where you can dodge both, but it's so janky you can't reliably replicate it without having incredible foresight.
I know exactly what you’re talking about that move is really annoying, it feels like you can only dodge it if a specific move is used right before so the timing lines up
You have to either dodge really early, or I once saw someone backstep the first swing into a dodge, and honestly I hope fromsoft encourages backstepping in more fights because it’s a mechanic I never use
The guy above me is correct - there is a talisman that gives your back step the same I-frames as a roll, at the cost of taking 15% additional damage at all times. This means that, as long as you have the reaction speed to back step the first slash, you will have time to roll the second hit as well. This is 100% consistent given you react to the first slash.
20:48 I can’t get over how true this is for me as well, I literally managed to beat him only because he didn’t do any of his flying attacks near the end.
@@BoundLunar the snakes are easy to dodge, right after the cutscene you gotta run straight at him. that allows you to dodge the big attack and you can start hitting him right after his landing. Some of his abilities are unclear but over all dodging the snakes is easier than his first phase.
@@akhmedmusliev5529 after awhile you can definitely get the timings down for the snakes but he has a lot more 1-2 shot capabilities in the 2nd phase whether it’s grabbing you with his hand, grabbing you with a snake, the firebomb from the sky, the big snake explosion that leads to a 4 attack combo with snakes, + changes to his 1st phase attacks. It just feels like you have to be a lot more perfect in the 2nd phase of messmer
I love how different all our experiences are! Rellana was by far the hardest boss for me. I usually play about 3-4 hours a night gaming and it took me about 3 nights to beat her. On the other hand radahn took about 2 nights and i found him to be pretty fair (still some attacks that are kinda impossible to dodge) and i thought he was awesome. Still i respect this list and it just shows how different elden ring bosses are compared to regular souls games. There was a guy who said it perfectly when he said: in usual fromsoft fashion youll have 3 bosses you destroy that others STRUGGLE with and then youll have 3 bosses you get destroyed by that others decimate.
I found rellana quite easy and only took me about 12 tries, but dancing lion took me well over 80 tries. This DLC really does have varying experiences of difficulty for different players
Consort Radahn is near perfect for me. What holds him back from being S tier is his undodgeble attack when he starts swinging from the left plus the lightspeed attacks during phase 2
I've beaten Radahn by switching the game on him. he played elden ring, i took block tear and played Lies of P. Smoked him in 30 mins after that. Parrying his giant AOE attack feels so good.
i noticed that a lot of people needed to respec against Radahn because of his ridiculous resistances and health. Full plating armor gives him slashing and piercing resistance, Being a carian mage gives him magic resistance, being in Mohg's body gives him fire resistance, and being a (demi)god gives him holy resistance. Good thing they didn't also make him immune to status effects for no reason like so many other games do with their bosses, otherwise i would likely have struggled a lot more that i have already. i wanted to use Rellana's twinblades for the whole run, but needed to respec to a bleed misericorde build with light roll to dodge the Rocks and phantoms, cause the only way for me to deal meaningful damage was with parries and crits. As a certified parry god i had little to no problems figuring out what attacks to parry and what to avoid, so first phase became a cakewalk after a while, but Miquella's ultra long hair and the countless beams of light in phase 2 made it really difficult to see what radahn was doing at times, and became the main reason the boss took me around 200-300 tries instead of 20-30. Like, seriously, please give Miquella braids or something so i can see what's going on. Messmer and Rellana having far better visibility in terms of special effects made then a lot easier for me to parry into oblivion as well, so they took only a small fraction of the time it took me to beat Radahn. Great boss fight tho, no bullshittery like Malenias on hit heal, one shot stabs, stagger ignoring, hyper armor, scarlet rot and waterfowl dance shenanigans. Purely a skill and reaction time check, and fully doable with a parry build. I do hope they make the fight more doable for medium roll builds and non shield users tho, cause the gravity rocks and phantom clones are borderline impossible to dodge without light roll. The complete lack of cheeseabiility compared to Malenia who you can stunlock with 2 blasphemous blades is worrying tho, so only fromsoft tryhards like myself will appreciate this boss for what it is. What i really like about the loot you get from them is that miquella's circlet doesn't come with a wig like the helmets of malenia, messmer, godfrey, etc. so it fits seamlessly into my new outfit, and i also like that the armor description tells you what Malenia said in the trailer of her fight against Radahn, "Miquella awaits thee, O promised consort."
There’s a death blight divine beast dancing lion. It’s in the rauh ancient ruins and wasn’t hard cause I was already high level but the death blight is crazy and he spawns toads
If you don't care that much, I beat him with Fingerprint shield, heavy armor, a heavy blood rapier with Seppuku (I used the Godskin's Stitcher), damage negation hard tear and the stamina regen crystal tear. The strategy involves blocking while attacking. When he goes on his 20 hit combos, you poke him while he attacks your shield. For talismans, I put the one that increases your blocking efficiency, the Pearl drake shield talisman that boost non-physical negation when blocking, the new two headed turtle talisman, and the golden braid talisman that increases holy negation by the utmost. (In NG+ 20, and yes, I am aware it stops at NG+ 7 [Just in case])
@@BoundLunar haha yessir🙏🏻 I almost swapped to my character who isn’t on a NG+ but realized I didn’t have all the talismans and stuff I needed so just went face first into it
If you didn’t know, lamented has a mechanic where it’ll insta kill you sometimes. You get skulls around your head and you eventually die. I have no idea what triggers it though.
I totally feel you with Radahn, had to switch from dex build to strength, then back to dex with dryleaf, back to strength and finally I chose to cheese the guy with the spear and shield. First phase is great, but the second makes no sense.
Beast advice for Messmer is whenever he does a combo where he coats the spear in flame, there is a punish or heal window at the end of it. And don't be afraid to heal after these combos, instead of doing damage. Can't attack if you die to the next hit because you chose to punish instead of heal. 👌
I’m definitely bad about that I’ll try going for a hit when I really should just heal but I swear 95% of the time it’s because I think I’m about to get a stance break off and I’m just doing everything I can for that😂 when it is a stance break it’s great because I get some dmg and a heal off but it’s rough if it doesn’t work no doubt
Yea, most bosses actually asside from the last one are really easy with enough blessings. I really think people complaining about difficulty are weird, this DLC is actually one of the easiest from has ever made imo. The only real challenge for me was the final boss really.
@@_lalapop yeah I probably should’ve just taken the time to upgrade but the attempts always feels so close you just get locked in a cycle after awhile lol
Spoilers: Messmer has for sure taken the spot as my favourite boss of any game. The whole time it felt fair and when I died it was a skill issue, he took me about 30 attempts, first 10 I either got no hits in or barley managed to do 5% of his health bar but the last last 10 were so close. Learning his patterns and knowing how and when to dodge certain attacks and how greedy I could get with punishes was so fun. It felt like one of the only bosses I was forced to just get good instead of get lucky. Bayle is also worth mentioning for the sheer cool factor, he beat the crap out of placidusax and is now chilling on the jagged peak with one leg. Radahn.. man, I thought the fight was close to impossible, I remember my first 20 attempts just felt like fighting a boss I was too underleveled for. Phase 2, even after probably close to 70-80 attempts I still have no idea how to dodge most of his attacks. I eventually beat him but I needed a spirit ash for sure, I've never seem to need one I've always been stubborn but this boss was just too hard so I sucked it up and dealt with it. I think it's fair to say he needs a nerf sheerly just because he seems to require more luck rather than skill in my experience, but I mean i've seen people no hit him so maybe we all just need to git gud. Loved the DLC 10/10 For Sure. Messmer is the GOAT
Mesmer was easily the most annoying. Took me two hours. Radahn was just so unfair it didn’t even make me mad when I got close. I thought he was invincible. Took me 6 hours at ng 7
bayle is objectivity the 2nd hardest, opinions will vary depending on when you fight him since he’s optional but his bag of tricks and damage should easily push him up
I’d say a big dependent factor in this is the scadurtree fragments, you missed two bosses in the list so assuming you didn’t find everything you could have missed plenty of fragments making every fight significantly harder
It’s crazy how different peoples boss experiences were on the same bosses. I struggles more on blackgaol knight (3 tries) than Bayle and midra which took me 2 and I wasn’t using magic or summons just my trusty greatswords. I thought the radahn fight was hard but fun and it definitely had a rhythm to it if you ask me but I only saw it like 50 tries in when I realized you have to treat repeat attacks in phase 2 from phase one completely differently because of the light rays. Once I found the rhythm of the fight I didn’t find it too tough easier than malenia for sure I never found any rhythm in that fight my biggest complaint was how flashy and hard to see phase 2 was
I beat the DLC today and basically all i got to say is they need to Nerf Radians left swing right swing into a crossing strike move its basically un dodge able. Besides that all the main bosses were very cool and definitely brought a new difficulty to the game that was needed. Oh and the Putrescent Knight can SMD
If you have light load, if you are in front of him or are strafing to the left, if you dodge forward to the left, the second swing completely misses you and you can dodge the last cross slash
@@oneofthekindscarf8612 Thats good to know but still you shouldn't need to do all that to dodge a move perfectly. You should be able to dodge it at any time no matter if your light medium or heavy
really interesting to hear your opinion the first 20 ranks would be totally different for me like really different, for example i think tree sentinals are super easy and the blackgoal knight was kinda difficult dealing 3/4 of my life with 1 hit and gap closing and hitting fast also i thouht the finger guy was such a push over
It just be like that sometimes big dawg, these games difficulties are all really subjective, especially Elden ring there’s countless different variables that change the difficultly of a fight
Radahn really was tough as hell man. Still finding Malenia harder though, never beaten her without abusing something OP and I beat Radahn w/ the new Sword of night Katana in 80 tries. Quality wise I really loved Messmer and Bayle. I think Messmer is the best boss in Elden Ring together with the normal Radahn, while Bayle coming close to Midir for best Dragon ever
I found Gaius quite easy, using the new tear which gives the Sekiro parry it's really easy to break his stance, and the timing on his attacks is easy to learn, especially the rhino back kick which can be baited.
I was too having a hard time against Radahn until I got the key to the fight. Changing all my offensive items and buffs for deffensive ones. The max HP, increased healing and physical negation +3 talismans, and Opaline Hardtear for the flask. That + playing with light roll because I had like 55 levels on endurance. And finally, with Golden Vow and Backhand blades with frost damage. In result, I sacrifice like a 10% damage dealt to him, but gained like 40%-50% damage reduction, being able to tank like a lot! And after changing to that, I end him up in like 5-6 atempts (after being destroyed by Radahn 80ish times before with the offensive strat). Also, rolling forward was always better than in any other direction xD
I feel so many people strugled with fast bosses but I just used a godskin peeler with 127 frost build up and blood hounds step and barely even got hit sure bosses took a bit more to kill but I usually got them 2nd or 3rd try after learning there moves.
I think Messmer is probebly my 2nd favorite boss ever behind Ludwig, hes super cool and fun to fight but he doesnt really feel unfair once you learn his moveset
I didn't struggle with Radahn because I realised it pretty early that Fromsoft got Sekiro Nostalgia with the Deflect Hardtear and made all the bosses thinking players should not be trying to dodge. After getting my butt kicked by Rellana and later Messmer and Midra a bunch, it was pretty easy to extrapolate the "deflect and maybe dodge" to "fuck this I ain't never dodging again" with a Greatshield. I'm sure yall seen that Let Me Tank Him guy.
Yeah I’ve heard quite a few other people say that parrying is the move for radahn/this DLC I’m definitely gonna have to give that a try sometime soon Also yeah I saw that let me tank him guy beat radahn it was quite a sight to behold lol
I don’t know I loved de final boss and really left me with the desire of beat him again, i think that for enjoying that fight you have to have an appropriate mindset, like when you listen to any of mahler’s symphonies, to enjoy them you have to listen to everything carefully, but I understand people are not always ready or able for that and I asume that’s why so much hated Radahn, I just loved so much beating him, and for mi every attack makes sense, giving me a great experience not like the first time against malenia
It’s been a few days now since I’ve beaten him and I’m not gonna lie I’m definitely feeling like I want to run through it again, it’s a brilliantly designed boss fight but in the moment it feels like hell lol
@@BoundLunar beat him again and you will notice that it’s less of a hell, just amazing thinking the improvement. And congratulations it’s probably one of the hardest bosses and you managed to do it.
Romina being harder than the putrescent knight is a bit of a stretch My ranking of the remembrance bosses and bayle would be: 11: Metyr 10: Romina 9: Dancing Lion 8: Gaius 7: Messmer 6: Scadutree Avatar 5: Midra 4: Rellana 3: Bayle 2: Putrescent Knight 1: Radahn
Hell yeah that’s not a bad list at all, everybody has different runs/ playthroughs, for every boss you thought was easy there’s somebody out there that thought it was the hardest in the DLC and vise versa it just be like that sometimes
I'm stopped using mimic tear cos I was one shotting all these bosses, so just do hippo and took 5 times, felt more rewarding but no doubt I will use mimic if I'm struggling for hours
Bayle was great thematically, but the fight was hard because of -Camera angle issues near walls -bad camera angles while bayel’s moving -Clipping through his body -weird hitboxs when attacking
My experience with Radahn was really funny. Took somewhere between 10-15 attempts at him both alone and with my friend, respecced 4 times. Then said fuck it, respecced back to 80 strength, grabbed the Two-Handed Sword Talisman and my Heavy Golem Halberd and took his ass to town in two runs. Its a demanding fight, you cannot half-ass your build if you want to do appreciable damage while staying alive. Crimson Seed Talisman +1 my beloved
@@BoundLunar Gonna be real, the Two-Handed Talisman and Crimson Seed +1 did most of the heavy lifting. Ditching my shield and using the talisman took me from around 900 damage per hit to 1300 and 2100 when I could squeeze a full charged heavy in (guaranteed after he does the spinning dive attack he opens the fight with) But Crimsons Seed, by god. Having my flasks heal me for almost 70% of my massive healthbar instead of less than half had me strolling comfortably into Phase 2 with 7 flasks instead of my usual 2. Absolute game changer.
@@rythmiccoma2809 the two handed got a ton of use from ya boy but I honestly didn’t use alot of the heal tailsmans i probably should’ve tried that out too
Radahn, Mesmer, Bayle, Gaius, then Rellana. Radahn only took me 12 tries as hes easily tankable, dodgeable, and bleed/frostbite destroys him with every fight besides Bayle falling in the same boat. Bayle also has more one shot capabilities than every other boss but Radahn, a grab, huge aoe attack strings, and is tankier than every other boss so idk how youd think hes easier than anyone other than Radahn/Mesmer who have near whole areana aoe attacks and far more relentless attack styles but to each their own.
The only thing that’s hard about the bayle fight is you’re fighting against the camera lock half the time, everything above bayle on my list feels like it’s own unique fight experience but the bayle fight feels like it’s already been done before, it didn’t really feel like it imposed any sort of new challenge it just felt like any other big monster boss
I think the final boss is encouraging alot of things people do not utilize alot, like heavy defensive investment, parrying. Scarlet rot can also be helpful. I dove in headfirst with scarlet aeonia just to get it into him.
Imma be honest using the stone shield actually makes him light work. You still have to manage your stamina but once you get that down he is pretty free and I did this on NG+5.
That’s a great point, I found myself trying everything I could for this fight so I was using a lot of talismans/buff items I typically don’t even think about
Out of all the top 3 messmer forsure felt like the fight that I got the most hang of, once you actually start to learn the moves it’s definitely a really fun fight but in the beginning it feels like you have damn near no breathing room
The only way I could beat Prime Radahn was going full greatshield and Rot build. It’s not satisfying (and it’s still hard af) but it’s significantly easier than every other option I tried. It sucks when a boss makes you change your build to win. Rellana and Messmer are goated though and Bayle is an awesome challenge too, so the DLC overall was still excellent imo
I think Radann was the greatest and most fun fight in Video Game history i used a faith build with the Haligtree Shield. I could block every attack. I had the Tailsman with Increases Blocked ability. And the Tailsman with Increased Stamina Recovery got him on the 5th try. And Blastfamous Blade. Took out Messmare the Inhaler on yhr 3rd try. I really thought the DLC was amazing. Most bosses wemt down with the first try. But I use everything I have available to me for every fight. And every fight requires a different approach but. I can block every attack from every enemy. Its a faith Build game that really favors a Sword an Sheild. Then you don't need to roll around and doge everything. Great video man. Now o now not to start mew game +3 I have alot of bosses to kill. I haven't found the Ghostly horse boss yet.
Most big bosses typically take more dmg to the head but that joker is MOVING, you can also get more hits off on his body at a time compared to the head so the dmg value usually stacks up to be higher than just one massive headshot, it just would have been nice to have at least one other camera lock point, big bosses with one lock on point like bayle really make the hit boxes feel super wonky
First Phase Radahn was hard extremely hard but fair, second phase feels bullshit with no room to counter him I havent beat him yet the longest time I spent on the other DLC bosses like Mesmer and Rennala is like a few hours, I'm at day 2 of Radahn attempts now
I like how people are saying radahn is unbalanced... You actually have to learn the boss and not trade hits, learn to dodge and its a masterpiece of a fight, same as melania
The loading screen between deaths is the most annoying boss in the game
Yeah they’re really just tryna ice us out here
The pressing of the button for the non existant load screen skip button getting more and more fast as the screen goes on
u must be on console, the loading screen is so quick on pc it loads instantly L console noob
@@-tari-2881you sound so fucking lame Jesus Christ
@@-tari-2881 Indeed I am
Bayle and Mesmer, were in my opinion the most fun and fair.
Disagree with bayle there, honestly radahn after 6 hours of tries is still more fun to fight than bayle after 2
Messmer is so good!!!
I feel you on the messmer but bayle felt a bit cheesy to me, I hate fighting big mob bosses like that
Yeah, Messmer is the only boss that is hard, but doesn't feel unfair
Phase 1 Radahn too
Bayle to me was the easiest boss in the dlc mainly because of how easy it was for me to stagger him by spamming giant hunt on his tail
Biblically accurate Radahn is by far one of if not the hardest bosses in Fromsoft history😂
One of the Hardest bosses in all of gaming history tbh😂
A possible nerf i see for radahn is extend his first phase to the middle instead of being like 1/4 of the health bar
@@jorgeeduardovillalobosmena1213 if I were to nerf him I would reduce the number of holy beams or maybe adjust their hit detection so you can't be hit too frequently by them (like how some multi projectile attacks can only trigger a hit once, but maybe put like a half second delay in so you only get hit by like 1-3 at most)
I think that would make surviving him a bit less difficult overall without actually changing any numbers, the phase length is an interesting concept, but I like that the harder bit is longer
no just make the double slash dodgeable
@@fwyb3512 I would say it's too soon to say it isn't dodge-able, folks thought you couldn't dodge half of malenia's attacks for like two weeks after the base game dropped
@@Ytinasniiable i watched a lot of videos with radahn fight, and every time when he does that one attack everyone just sekiro-parried it or used a shield on first two attacks. i also tried dodgeing it, and it really is either impossible or very, and i mean very, hard
@@Ytinasniiable yeah because doing a little looney toons dance under her is a good way to dodge I guess.
Your radahn recap was so accurate it was insane. I was having nightmares about the fight and got physically ill with cold symptoms that were mysteriously cured after beating him
Appreciate it homie 🤝 Yeah I felt like I was at a very low point in life during that fight lol
the thing is his recap of the first phase is just wrong? he even shows 2 scenes side by side and he is clearly in a different position in one of them, while saying he did exactly the same.. Also his combos are not as random as he says. (havent watched the video further)
funnily enough I also beat him while physically ill with cold symptoms and they got mysteriously cured right after I beat him.
Against Radahn in phase to I was roleplaying as a victim that shit was genuinely terrifying to fight against
I think I was role playing as a victim this entire DLC
I love how we all have different experiences with these bosses, midra took me atleast 30 tries, while i got gaius on my third and romina on my first try
That’s part of the beauty of these games lol, It’s fun hearing what worked for some people or what didn’t, helps find new ways of playing too
Fr man, I struggled w scadutree avatar where w Messmer the first time I got to his second phase I beat him, ( I think the erdtree avatar / rykard snake dodges paid off)
Lol my list is basically the opposite. I got Midra the first try, Gaius on about the third try, and Romina in maybe the 10th try
I got Romina first try and I don’t even know how many times I died to blackgaol knight
I can’t beat midra bruh😢😢😢madness is sooooo annoying
Radagns double slash into cross slash makes me want to commit tax fraud every time it hits me.
Not the tax fraud lmao
It is so validating to see so many people also hate this move
For real. I can consistently dodge most of his phase one moves, EXCEPT for that one. And if you get caught, it can stun lock you and delete your health bar with the cross slash. It's insane!
rellana is my favourite boss of the whole game up till now, its just such an amazing boss fight
Rellana was a great fight! Thats one of my favorites too, i didn’t even need to fight her I just read ‘twin moon knight’ and ya boy was sold
Us: We want to fight prime radahn!!!!
Fromsoft: *makes prime radahn final boss*
Us: FUCK
The day I walk into a prime melania boss fight might be the day I uninstall lmao
@BoundLunar Actually, we never fought Prime Radahn. This was Miquella's controlling Radahn and wasn't Radahn using everything he could've or had. For example, he never used his collapsing stars, for example. Or his bow raining bs on you.
@@BoundLunarthankfully we already fought prime malenia so you don't need to worry
You should have mentioned in the title that this was a difficulty ranking and not a quality ranking, cuz one has nothing to do with the other. Good vid tho
Definitely a fair point I’ll make sure to throw it in the thumbnail for next time
Difficulty is part of quality. An easy boss can never be more than a one time spectacle
@@fili0938 that strongly depends on what you enjoy about the game
Also difficulty in these games rests heavily on the shoulders of your build/play style/willingness to try new strategies
You can spend 4 hours trying to learn how to dodge every move, or you can spend 20 minutes changing your build to a guard counter build or something and entirely change the dynamics of the fight
@@alexnota8Drawing agro is probably the bigest help u can get in a souls game. Just geting 1 free flask can go miles in a fight.
@@alexnota8 It has nothing to do with the damage the summon does. It draws aggro so alot of the bosses attacks like his beams will go on the npc not you and it makes it way easier.
I’ll definitely have to try it solo for my next run, I was only using igon because he was tired to the lil dragon communion quest
@@BoundLunar No judgments from me - I ended up using him too, and I don’t regret it. Igon being an absolute Chad was one of the best parts of the game for me.
You know a boss is hard when the Bloodfiend arm charge attack cheese build comes out…
Desperate times call for desperate measures
Blackgaol actually does have a special ability. If you get him low, and don’t finish him, he starts shooting a light beam out of his sword, from long distance.
Thank you for pointing that out big dawg I would have never known
You mean his Ash of War?
@@BoundLunar No problem, I wouldn't have known either, but then I got REALLY cocky at the end of the fight, and basically stood still, mocking him. Then bro spammed the light beam at me 3 times, from like 20 feet away

I feel you on that lol
Midra and Messmer are my favorite bosses, the only complaint I have is Midra Phase 2 Nuke which I can't seem to dodge even after trying a lot
@@shuvi1565 yeah, the nuke is a bit bullshit, it might be dodgeable with vow of the indomitable or raptor of the mists, but I don't think an ash of war should be necessary to no-hit an enemy
You can cheese the fuck outta Radahn with a strength stagger build and malenias great rune
@@shuvi1565yeah I tried to dodge it as well. It looks like running away from the radius is the solution as expected. Not by all means bad it just take very few round to realise
Something I was thinking watching this is that you don’t need to lock on on every boss, the big ones specially, you just stick to their back and hit
Ive tried using no camera and I always have the worst luck with it, maybe I just haven’t practiced it enough
This is Onze erasure. That little demi-human magic swordmaster deserves the respect lol
Yeah that is 1000% my bad coach I know exactly who you’re talking about I completely forgot that
Messmer, Bayle, Rellana were the best fights in this DLC, Radahn on the other hand.. it’s good to see him again but god what a nightmare, I literally had to switch to a heavy great shield tank build with the Ant spur rapier with a bleed infusion along side wearing high holy resistance armor to win the fight.
Well said 🤝 that build sounds cracked i might have to steal that from you lol

Some attacks are still a little bit annoying to dodge (double slash into cross slash and the boulder attack in phase 2)
your blunt honesty earned you a sub

Even though the bosses were more hard than base game I felt like they were more in line with ds3 bosses where there hard but fair

That actually makes sense thanks for the tip, it definitely felt like she was just going forever lol
Great video. I hope you make more Souls stuff
Great comment big dawg 🤝 the first phase I started to feel the rhythm for things but the second phase was just comin at me way too fast lol
That is some great info thanks for the comment my man 🤝
I had 20 blessings, dmg negate charm and holy negate charm and wearing 2 pieces of solitude armour, and his dmg was manageable.
I could use up all my flasks before dying (sometimes)
I spent properly 2hrs learning his moveset then found his weaknesses, Frost and Rot.
Once i added that to my mix, he went down.
2nd phase is alot and very hard to find how to dodge.
The final boss just wanna say there is one mechanic in specific that stun locks you and it killed me like 60% of the times.
It felt like damn near every attack stun locked me lol what a fight
Never heard of your channel before but just letting you know this is a very well made video for how small you are. Im subbing
You’re an absolute legend thank you big dawg 🤝
Messmer was such an awesome fight that will stick with me for a very long time. Probably my favorite boss they have ever made.
I knew it was going to be a good fight, but damn that second phase had me just giggling like a child. So fucking awesome
I feel it, the messmer fight was probably my most favorite from the whole DLC great comment big dawg
You missed a mechanic with the lamenter. If there are clones left when he laughs it puts that many stacks of lament on you. At a certain number you succumb to lament.
That is a great point thank you for adding that, I didn’t get enough experience to personally see that effect

That sounds like HELL
I know exactly what you’re talking about that move is really annoying, it feels like you can only dodge it if a specific move is used right before so the timing lines up
@@BoundLunar I think it’s supposed to teach you too block, but my stamina is too low and it just guard breaks me
You have to either dodge really early, or I once saw someone backstep the first swing into a dodge, and honestly I hope fromsoft encourages backstepping in more fights because it’s a mechanic I never use
The guy above me is correct - there is a talisman that gives your back step the same I-frames as a roll, at the cost of taking 15% additional damage at all times.
This means that, as long as you have the reaction speed to back step the first slash, you will have time to roll the second hit as well. This is 100% consistent given you react to the first slash.
dodge in the middle at the right time and you dodge both. youre welcome.

I can’t get over how true this is for me as well, I literally managed to beat him only because he didn’t do any of his flying attacks near the end.
Felt like I won the lottery
Gaius was 1000 times harder than Messmer...
If the messmer fight was just the entire 1st phase I’d probably agree with you but that 2nd messmer phase with the snakes is pretty insane
@@BoundLunar all I know is I took care of Messmer much faster than Gaius. Because Gaius does not leave that much time to react.
It’s pretty funny how different my list is when I played through on a strength build. Messmer took me 6 attempts and radahn only 20.
Couldn’t of said it any better it’s always great hearing how different playthroughs go, appreciate the comment big dawg you’re a real one 🤝
I found rellana quite easy and only took me about 12 tries, but dancing lion took me well over 80 tries. This DLC really does have varying experiences of difficulty for different players
Yeah it’s always pretty interesting to hear other people’s experiences with the games, crazy how different two runs can be
Great video
Appreciate it big dawg 🤝
Consort Radahn is near perfect for me. What holds him back from being S tier is his undodgeble attack when he starts swinging from the left plus the lightspeed attacks during phase 2
I've beaten Radahn by switching the game on him. he played elden ring, i took block tear and played Lies of P. Smoked him in 30 mins after that. Parrying his giant AOE attack feels so good.
Yeah I’ve heard quite a few other people say that parrying is pretty insane for the radahn fight I’ll have to give that a try sometime 🤝
i noticed that a lot of people needed to respec against Radahn because of his ridiculous resistances and health.
Great input big dawg 🤝 I’m gonna have to try a parry run for this boss for sure, I’ll try to watch out for the hair lol
There’s a death blight divine beast dancing lion. It’s in the rauh ancient ruins and wasn’t hard cause I was already high level but the death blight is crazy and he spawns toads
Thank you for pointing that out I 100% forgot about that
I’m currently bashing my head against the wall against redahn on NG+8

If you didn’t know, lamented has a mechanic where it’ll insta kill you sometimes. You get skulls around your head and you eventually die. I have no idea what triggers it though.
That’s a great point to bring up I definitely didn’t know about all that, thanks for the comment 🤝
Pretty sure you get skulls based on how many clones are left before they disappear
I totally feel you with Radahn, had to switch from dex build to strength, then back to dex with dryleaf, back to strength and finally I chose to cheese the guy with the spear and shield. First phase is great, but the second makes no sense.
I thought I was goin crazy switching up my stats so much I’m glad I wasn’t the only one lol
@BoundLunar Damn straight. It's a tough mind game to beat. 😌
Did you max your shadow blessings? Bosses like romina, midra, Bayle and a few others only took 1-2 tries because they do no damage with blessjnfs
Yea, most bosses actually asside from the last one are really easy with enough blessings. I really think people complaining about difficulty are weird, this DLC is actually one of the easiest from has ever made imo. The only real challenge for me was the final boss really.
No I don’t think I got them all the way maxed I think the highest I ended up getting was like +13

@@_lalapop yeah I probably should’ve just taken the time to upgrade but the attempts always feels so close you just get locked in a cycle after awhile lol
Spoilers:
Messmer has for sure taken the spot as my favourite boss of any game.
Well said my man thank you 🤝
Mesmer was easily the most annoying. Took me two hours. Radahn was just so unfair it didn’t even make me mad when I got close. I thought he was invincible. Took me 6 hours at ng 7
Ng7 oh my you’re on straight DEMON TIME
Just recently beat Radahn. I've never been so satisfied.
Hell yeah big dawg congratulations 🤝 these games are always the most rewarding experiences out there, it’s truly unmatched
bayle is objectivity the 2nd hardest, opinions will vary depending on when you fight him since he’s optional but his bag of tricks and damage should easily push him up
Messmer is definitely the best boss, I like hard bosses but like 2nd phase PC Radahn has moves that I swear on my life cannot be avoided.
Messmer was a great fight no doubt
gimme your life then >:)
I’d say a big dependent factor in this is the scadurtree fragments, you missed two bosses in the list so assuming you didn’t find everything you could have missed plenty of fragments making every fight significantly harder
Yeah I’m not sure what the max fragment level is but I don’t think I got to max I think I only got to around +13, those definitely help out a lot
My favorite boss was bayle not because it was an easy fight but because it the coolest boss and fight of the dlc for me.
Hell yeah man I’ve heard him get a lot of flack lately but I feel you I thought it was overall a pretty solid fight
Seeing the radahn death count, holy shit i admire your persistance
That man had me in a headlock so tight I started seeing stars
It’s crazy how different peoples boss experiences were on the same bosses. I struggles more on blackgaol knight (3 tries) than Bayle and midra which took me 2 and I wasn’t using magic or summons just my trusty greatswords. I thought the radahn fight was hard but fun and it definitely had a rhythm to it if you ask me but I only saw it like 50 tries in when I realized you have to treat repeat attacks in phase 2 from phase one completely differently because of the light rays. Once I found the rhythm of the fight I didn’t find it too tough easier than malenia for sure I never found any rhythm in that fight my biggest complaint was how flashy and hard to see phase 2 was
Yeah it’s always cool to hear about everyone’s different playthroughs in these kinda games you’re not the only ones who’s said that
I beat the DLC today and basically all i got to say is they need to Nerf Radians left swing right swing into a crossing strike move its basically un dodge able. Besides that all the main bosses were very cool and definitely brought a new difficulty to the game that was needed. Oh and the Putrescent Knight can SMD
Congrats big dawg 🤝 yeah there’s alot they could change in this and I’d be a happy camper no doubt lol
@Cole-nc6ux Wush that can be true but with malenia we know that sometimes you just gotta go out of your way to dodge attacks
really interesting to hear your opinion the first 20 ranks would be totally different for me like really different, for example i think tree sentinals are super easy and the blackgoal knight was kinda difficult dealing 3/4 of my life with 1 hit and gap closing and hitting fast
also i thouht the finger guy was such a push over
It just be like that sometimes big dawg, these games difficulties are all really subjective, especially Elden ring there’s countless different variables that change the difficultly of a fight
underrated vid
Now that’s my dawg 🤝
I think bro missed a few bosses💀
Im pretty sure there a 1hp glitch to prevented 1 shot build , but I can’t be sure before testing every boss
I think that’s what I was experiencing with messmer when I got him low twice, straight gut wrenching
so you had like zero scadu blessings when you fought radahn? when i fought radahn each attack barely did like 10%, its just cuz how fast he is
I’m not sure exactly how many I had, I had it up at like +13 but homie was still dealing some crazy dmg
@@BoundLunar Golden Braid and Dragoncrest shield talismans seems almost necessary, I swear
@@BoundLunar they got buffed so +13 is prob like 80% damage neg instead of like 40-45% but that’s wack he 2 tapping you with your shit being that high
@@joeyshaver9658 that's not at all how the rebalancing works.
@@joeyshaver9658lmao no it is not. It’s now more like 43%-48% instead of 40%-45%
Radahn really was tough as hell man.
Definitely missed a few, good video nonetheless
Yes I’ve had a few people mention a couple that I missed, I’m sorry about that player thanks for letting me know and thanks for the comment 🤝
I found Gaius quite easy, using the new tear which gives the Sekiro parry it's really easy to break his stance, and the timing on his attacks is easy to learn, especially the rhino back kick which can be baited.
Yeah I didn’t think that fight was all that bad either, I’ll have to try that tear tho that sounds dope
Great comment thanks for the input on that fight 🤝 if I have any issues on my next go around I’ll have to give that a shot for sure
I feel so many people strugled with fast bosses but I just used a godskin peeler with 127 frost build up and blood hounds step and barely even got hit sure bosses took a bit more to kill but I usually got them 2nd or 3rd try after learning there moves.
That sounds pretty cracked I’ll have to try that 🤝
I think Messmer is probebly my 2nd favorite boss ever behind Ludwig, hes super cool and fun to fight but he doesnt really feel unfair once you learn his moveset
I feel it, messmer is probably my favorite boss from the whole DLC
Great video actually agree with most although i destroyed the madness guy in 1 try so i wouldve put him lower and Bayle to number 2
Appreciate it big dawg🤝
I didn't struggle with Radahn because I realised it pretty early that Fromsoft got Sekiro Nostalgia with the Deflect Hardtear and made all the bosses thinking players should not be trying to dodge.
After getting my butt kicked by Rellana and later Messmer and Midra a bunch, it was pretty easy to extrapolate the "deflect and maybe dodge" to "fuck this I ain't never dodging again" with a Greatshield.
I'm sure yall seen that Let Me Tank Him guy.
Yeah I’ve heard quite a few other people say that parrying is the move for radahn/this DLC I’m definitely gonna have to give that a try sometime soon
Also yeah I saw that let me tank him guy beat radahn it was quite a sight to behold lol
Messmer is by far my favorite boss of Elden ring then Melania so satisfying to learn his combos
Hell yeah dawg that was a great fight
Personally switch Bayle and Rellana and this is a perfect list great video!
Thanks big dawg 🤝
I thought i was going crazy with Sessenax with its chicken ass legs and having its head be just high and small enough to be not hit 90% of the time
Not crazy at all, definitely an annoying fight lol
Not gonna lie. Enjoyed this video
My dawg 🤝
Romina being harder than the putrescent knight is a bit of a stretch
My ranking of the remembrance bosses and bayle would be:
11: Metyr
10: Romina
9: Dancing Lion
8: Gaius
7: Messmer
6: Scadutree Avatar
5: Midra
4: Rellana
3: Bayle
2: Putrescent Knight
1: Radahn
Hell yeah that’s not a bad list at all, everybody has different runs/ playthroughs, for every boss you thought was easy there’s somebody out there that thought it was the hardest in the DLC and vise versa it just be like that sometimes
I'm stopped using mimic tear cos I was one shotting all these bosses, so just do hippo and took 5 times, felt more rewarding but no doubt I will use mimic if I'm struggling for hours
Bayle was great thematically, but the fight was hard because of
-Camera angle issues near walls
-bad camera angles while bayel’s moving
-Clipping through his body
-weird hitboxs when attacking
All solid points 🤝
for radhan just use a big shield and a Heavy Thrusting Sword, with that you can defend and attack at the same time while he attacks you
Im definitely gonna have to try a shield build for this sometime soon 🤝
@@BoundLunar nice tell me how it goes
What katanas are you using in most of the clips those shred health bars
Uchigatana + nagakiba with keen upgrades
My experience with Radahn was really funny. Took somewhere between 10-15 attempts at him both alone and with my friend, respecced 4 times.
Then said fuck it, respecced back to 80 strength, grabbed the Two-Handed Sword Talisman and my Heavy Golem Halberd and took his ass to town in two runs.
Its a demanding fight, you cannot half-ass your build if you want to do appreciable damage while staying alive.
Crimson Seed Talisman +1 my beloved
Bro is HIM 🤝 that is a highly respectable feat
@@BoundLunar Gonna be real, the Two-Handed Talisman and Crimson Seed +1 did most of the heavy lifting.
Ditching my shield and using the talisman took me from around 900 damage per hit to 1300 and 2100 when I could squeeze a full charged heavy in (guaranteed after he does the spinning dive attack he opens the fight with)
But Crimsons Seed, by god. Having my flasks heal me for almost 70% of my massive healthbar instead of less than half had me strolling comfortably into Phase 2 with 7 flasks instead of my usual 2.
Absolute game changer.
@@rythmiccoma2809 the two handed got a ton of use from ya boy but I honestly didn’t use alot of the heal tailsmans i probably should’ve tried that out too
I had a harder time with blackgaol knight then dancing lion he poised through all of my attacks and date significant damage when he hit
Rellana is actually quite easy if you parry her attacks. But yeah its challenging if you play dual katana
I’ve heard some other people say that same thing , I’ll have to try a parry build for this DLC forsure
Radahn seeing a scarlet aeonia again after being cured of it 2 seconds ago
For the first time I had to go after spells like “Divine fortification” and +3 talismans to have a chance at beating him. He is brutal
Imma be honest using the stone shield actually makes him light work. You still have to manage your stamina but once you get that down he is pretty free and I did this on NG+5.
That’s a great point, I found myself trying everything I could for this fight so I was using a lot of talismans/buff items I typically don’t even think about
Messmer gives pretty good opens when you dodges correctly his attacks
Great comment big dawg thanks for the late game input 🤝
Messmare the inhaler ☠️☠️☠️
Gaius seemed to give so many people major issues, but I never died to him. Midra was WAY harder than him in my playthrough.
I definitely died to him but I feel you on gaius I didn’t think it was that crazy of a fight
The point of Bayle is that you SHOULD be hitting his head, it takes increased dmg, just like darkeater midir.
@@BoundLunar I guess everyone experiences fights differently. I found I got tons of chances to hit his head.
First Phase Radahn was hard extremely hard but fair, second phase feels bullshit with no room to counter him I havent beat him yet the longest time I spent on the other DLC bosses like Mesmer and Rennala is like a few hours, I'm at day 2 of Radahn attempts now
Couldn’t of said it any better, the 2nd phase feels UNREAL compared to the first, I wish you the best of luck big dawg 🤝
I like how people are saying radahn is unbalanced... You actually have to learn the boss and not trade hits, learn to dodge and its a masterpiece of a fight, same as melania
