- Jimmie Johnson's Anything with an Engine isn't a NASCAR game, nor is it Wii shovelware, but it's almost both. It released on the PS3, Xbox 360, and the Nintendo Wii. Obviously, I'm playing the Wii version for tilt control satisfaction and the reduced performance. I almost hate saying that this game can be fun, but it can be. The footage in this video is actually the first time that I have ever sat down and played this game for longer than 20 minutes, and it was an experience. Also, don't forget that Konami published this, making it a "sequel" to Bill Elliott's NASCAR Challenge. Anyways, this is yet another weird Wii racing game from my collection, and I hope you enjoy the ride.

Fun fact: this game was actually only published by Konami. It was actually made by Isopod Labs, notable for being the sucessor of original studio Luxoflux, known for the Vigilante 8 games, the True Crime franchise and. the Shrek 2 game.
I don't know how feasible it is to run decently on modern hardware, but this video made me think about Jeff Gordon XS Racing, and it seems like a logical followup video to cover that and try to determine which iconic Hendrick driver is the better video game inspirer.
After seeing this, I'm having a hard time believing that Jimmie Johnson is a real man.
Fun Fact: In the PS3 version of this game (and possibly the 360 version as well but the PS3 version was the one i played with it installed) there was DLC released that added Jimmy Fallon as a playable character. Because that's the first person I think of when I think about the answer to the question "What would happen if they offered a NASCAR driver a bunch of weed and told them to make a kart racer", A mediocre late night host!
The title of this game sticks in my head like a bad song. Sometimes I'm just having a normal day and I think about Jimmie Johnson's Anything With an Engine. So I'm glad you tackled it. Thanks!
Gotta say this game started out as another shovelware game but towards the end i was legitimately invested in silverspoon's cup run.

I often reference this game, cause... I can do well in uh.. well.. anything with an engine. Planes count. Boats are scary. Don't like hover things. But I do know this is shovelware but a weirdly memorable one because it's not that future Jeff Gordon game which was kinda rad for like 1999 or something, mighta had wings deploy? I AM NOT LOOKIN IT UP.
This video made me watch every other video, don't have the willpower to watch the mock series stuff and I genuinely believe you could commentate on an empty field and make it entertaining

I actually played this game about 7 years ago and I actually liked it because it was so random but fun.
The lawn mower guy was my usual choice, but the voice acting is so damn funny.
i literally remember first playing this on the Xbox 360 in one of those game trucks, it was the birthday of a family-friend of ours & his parents ordered a game truck for him & i saw Jimmie Johnson, said that one & i was very confused. i still picked it up on the wii & the game literally softlocked on the menu lmaooooooooooo

I played this game on the Xbox 360 when I was a kid. I played it more than twice but I don't think I played it very long either
I played this once via PS Now/PS Plus....it was so bad i never touched it again
