    your video is the only one I found about connecting these to the faucet! tysm for the detailed explanation my dude. I have but one question tho: I’m planning to place this right under the sink and not TO the faucet but directly to the water line. I was wondering if a similar system could be done down under 😣 But i’m really not a technical person so I have no clue!

    April 2024! Oh my goodness! I can't tell you what a godsend you are with this video. I'd eventually worked out using the MF attachment along with a split attachment, but I could not find out about filling the dw. I knew you had to turn it on but had no idea you had to actually press start for whichever cycle you wanted too in order for the reservoir to fill up. Also thank you for explaining the safety feature, I had been really concerned about that. I have A Comfee dw, basically the same model but different brand as the one you demonstrate with, and there is no explanation whatsoever about this in the user manual. So, thank you, thank you, thank you again, from 🇬🇧 👍🏽😊.

    Hi Daniel, I have a question. I managed to hook up the brass reducer and hose to my faucet. When i turned on the faucet to check if the water runs through the hose it worked. However when I attach the hose to the machine the water stops flowing and does not fill up the tank of the dishwasher! Do you have any clue what I am doing wrong?

    Hi, I bought the same model. My watertap light is always on and the 'play'button is not working. The power is on. I plugged the machine on and off and turned on and off with the time interval of around 5 mintues, which didn't work as well. I also checked the drainage, which was also fine. The water is going in from the water tap directly. Cookology answered my first email but didn't respond to me and they're off after 3pm Friday. I put the salt in and the manual says that I need to run the quick cycle to prevent it from any erosion. Would you recommend me anything that I can do to fix this? Thank you so much for your video.

    • @Pibikhen
      @Pibikhen 2 года назад

      @@shoushikochou This is absolutely correct but check your manual to make sure your hot water comes out at a temperature the machine can handle. In the UK, the hot water at the tap is usually ~50c. Most of these countertop dishwashers are perfectly fine up to 60c. Other countries may have different standards, so worth mentioning.

    Thanks for the helpful video. I was looking at this product since I don't have a big kitchen. It turned out however that the only place I can put this is too close to the wall, and it needs space on both sides to allow for ventilation. But perhaps that is not as important as they make it sound.

    Hi Daniël
    "I've done everything as you instructed to connect the dishwasher to the faucet. When I open the faucet, I see that the water flows through the hose properly and comes out at the end of the hose. When I place the end of the hose at the top of the dishwasher, it fills and beeps. But when I connect the water hose to the bottom of the dishwasher and the faucet is open, I hear nothing, and I don't see water coming out at the top of the dishwasher like yours, and there's no beeping. I press start and know there's water in it, but after 10 minutes, it beeps that there's no water in it. I have to leave the faucet open." Is that normal

    Hey Daniel! I'm a disabled war veteran living on a limited fixed income. I just purchased this dishwasher to use in a super ultra tiny home project and I have been wanting to install this machine in place and permanently hook it up to water.
    Question: Can it be permanently hooked up to water?
    I've been looking all over the internet and I have seen others asking this same question but no one is really clear about this. I can find all the correct connections to install it but my question (and I think you answered it in this video) was:
    Question: Does this dishwasher have an inlet switch that will allow a permanent connection by COMPLETELY stopping the flow of water to the machine?
    Some people suggest that if the water pressure is still on (with this machine), that water will continue to slowly fill the dishwasher and tank and slowly drain it at the same time. I have a limited drain facility for my tiny home (small portable tanks). If the water running in is continually draining out (as others suggest), it will fill up my small tanks and overflow :(
    So, I was wondering (since I don't have the correct sink connections to test this and you do) if you wouldn't mind terribly doing a test for me (and the others out there with your machine and make a video called "fdw05asbwha Can Farberware Professional Complete Dishwasher be permanently connected to water?". I think other people have this same question and would appreciate it. If you would:
    1.) Set your drain hose into a 5 gallon bucket below the machine (not the sink drain) so that the bucket catches the water..
    2.) Turn on the water source that is connected to the inlet and leave it on through all the stages of this test!
    3.) Power up your machine.
    4.) Run a load through it (empty or full).
    5.) When it's finished and the cycle is through, empty the bucket into your sink.
    6.) Set the drain hose back in the bucket below the machine.
    7.) Check back after an hour to see if any more water has drained into the bucket.
    8.) If no water in the bucket, leave the drain hose in the bucket overnight and check the next day to see if any more water has entered the machine and drained into the bucket.
    I am curious after the entire load if ANY water is coming out of the drain hose after it has run it's course and water is still being provided to the machine, even a little bit of drainage over a significant time would make my situation difficult. I'd like to see if there is any dripping, etc. If not, then this wonderful little machine will be an easy solution for my super ultra tiny home! If not, I can install a water valve that is accessible for turning the water on and off before each load. Though I can do that, it would be so much easier and nicer if I can just permanently connect it to water. I have a terrible memory and this would really help me!
    Thank you so much for your great videos!

    • @TheOmerkhanchi
      @TheOmerkhanchi 4 года назад +5

      Don't know if you found your answer or not yet so here's what I found out. I bought one for my kitchenette and connected it permanently. The dishwasher will NOT keep filling up the reservoir. It will only fill it up when you select a wash cycle and push the start button. It has an electric valve that controls the water flow just like a normal size dishwasher.
      Also, it does not need to drain below its level. You can put it under the sink and connect it to the garbage disposal or sink drain just like a normal dishwasher. I hope this helps.

      Yes, one cycle and everything is clean, unless it’s really hard to reach areas like in normal dishwashers

    I purchased a different model Farberware countertop dishwasher; I bought the 'Professional Countertop Dishwasher' that doesn't have the option of filling it manually. I cannot find ANY videos on hooking up that model and the directions that come with it are vague at best. Being an innocent in the world of plumbing and setting up things like dishwashers, I am looking at your video in hopes it guides me as to which hose goes to what hookup on the unit. That's really my only wall in setting this up but, there are only 2 hoses so my odds of getting it right are 50/50. I appreciate your extensive video as it definitely gives me a little more confidence in going forward.

    Thank you so much. This worked out fine. I bought the splitter from amazone, but I forgot to buy the seperate part to connect the hoze to the splitter. I bought that in the local shop (praxis, the netherlands)

    This thing is a piece of shit. It will not run at all. It's huge and takes up so much counter space, yet barely holds any dishes. Waste of $400
