    Hey nice video! What is your experience with the rubber rings for the screws, not so much for water proofing, but for vibration dampening? Did you prefer the original size or the larger version?

    I own Acton S2 but it dies on me. I preordered GTX. That's a hell of an upgrade.

    Hey man I loved your video, I am looking forward to getting the GTX with the R2 remote control, which is the knew remote controller they are having now for their boards evolve that is, and also put in some 107 mm wheels from ebec 11, the flywheel, to go with it...

    • @ulangreg
      @ulangreg  6 лет назад

      I cant wait to get R2! cant even order it yet. I am in NYC and solid wheels do not work for me too much vibrations and cant use in bad weather. I love all terrain wheels and how soft the ride is. But if you take it on nice roads and in great weather you will love it. I have a set of 97mm for summer days.

    is the battery heating a lot at summer time ? if yes, does the thing you're using supports high temperature ? or do we have to change it ?

    Hey I have a few questions because I would love to do this myself.
    1. What size are the O-Rings?
    2. At 19:10 in the video I saw a bunch of the stuff oozing out then in the next scene it was gone and looked amazing. Did you cut off the excess then add silicone tape over it?
    3. how did you cover the electronics in the HD stuff? Just spray it over everything then let it dry?

    • @ulangreg
      @ulangreg  6 лет назад

      1. Not sure what size just a bit smaller then the skateboard screws, also coated screws in corrosion X, it might be better to use liquid electric tape since it seals very well.
      2. I just used my finger and removed excess then sealed it with few layers of liquid electrical tape, and silicone sealer.
      3. I used a deep dish and soaked everything which was messy as hell. Later I just sprayed it. It never dries completely, oil coating is what protects everything. Also, I used CorrosionX HD on the power button and charging port.
      Works perfect! I love it! I am not afraid to get stuck in bad weather anymore or ride over a silly puddle. Riding in the rain will rust your bearings and get lots of sand into belt drive gears just rinse or do maintenance.... Such as; clean bearings, oil them, get dirt and sand out every few months.

    • @deniedinc9933
      @deniedinc9933 6 лет назад

      Do you mean just cover the top of the screw in liquid electric tape?

    • @ulangreg
      @ulangreg  6 лет назад

      Top and under the cap to make a good seal.

    Hi greg. i loved your video, but i have a question about how hardiest it is to open the battery case, while the screws holes are
    capped. im gonna buy a new gtx and i would like to buy a extra battery for long ranges with no recharge. That's possible ?

    • @ulangreg
      @ulangreg  6 лет назад +1

      P for Panda it's not that hard. If you need more range look into replacing battery completely.

    Im so tempted to get this board like on the verge of click the add to cart button but, I live in england and the weather is as we all know shit. Will i be able to ride this with damp floors like roads after its been raining? Is it at least water resistant, would really like to know from anyone out there that knows a bit more about the board and has done so with there own so I can finally make up my mind.

    • @ulangreg
      @ulangreg  6 лет назад

      MriVmedia if you just do some basic waterproofing. It should be okay. Use 2 or 3 layers of silicone and make sure to coat the motor cables because, wheels lift water and spray it inside the board. Also seal the screw holes on top with silicone so rain water won't get inside. Evolve has spare parts if something fries or goes bad. also I suggest go for AT setup it's amazing and I never use my street set.

  • @sadlywarm

    does it matter if i cover the motherboard of the skateboard in corrosion x or corrosion x hd? or does it not matter? i'd be able to spray corrosion x hd on the motherboard because you said corrosion x on some things and corrosion x hd on others.

    • @ulangreg
      @ulangreg  6 лет назад

      Use which ever you have. HD seems thicker coating

    • @sadlywarm
      @sadlywarm 6 лет назад

      Greg Ulan would it be bad to put corrosion x hd specifically, in the motors since it is thicker than the standard corrosion x? Or should it not matter?

    • @sadlywarm
      @sadlywarm 6 лет назад

      Greg Ulan also the plate under the motherboard, do you need to seal that up or is it already sealed?

      Greg Ulan oh yes someone told me that, kaly has a top speed of like 35 to 40 miles per hour, and it has a 23 mile range with a 220 lbs load, also it uses two 6374 motors, little monsters, and the batteries are 12S4P - 18650 Samsung 30Q cells...if I am not mistaken.
