Every time i played Liverpool in CM at Anfield, I NEVER skipped the intro cutscenes. YNWA & the cinematography is incredible, why the fuck would they dare remove that. FIFA 23 it is then for another year.
Shouldn’t have to change sliders to make the game remotely difficult. AI not pressing and just running backwards when you run at them has been in the game for years.
Ea said they recorded over 100 games to get motion capture🤣🤣 no defenders in the world mark or defend like this. They have made zero changes to how bad the marking and defending was in 23. The AI look lost when they attack.
this problems been in FIFA for years, I've only got FIFA 22 and it's been a dealbreaker, it's so easy to just take over the league especially with the training.
10 years ago, the future of football games looked so bright. Who would have thought we'd end up where we are today with all the technology available to us? Has any modern FIFA looked better than FIFA 16 really? At least in that game the players actually ran instead of skating, and the AI could actually play something that resembled football. But sadly it's still going to bring in billions. To EA, EAFC fans are like junkies, and no matter how poor your product gets, the addicts are always going to come back if you're the only one selling.

@@evanstath yes but the fact that it happened immediately after. In past fifas/ real life, the play would’ve continued and then disallowed after the fact. It’s not uncommon to score goals that get disallowed with offside in FIFA. This just reeks of bad game design where the ref could potentially blow the whistle when the ball is right outside the box.

ngl, like ik these fifa youtubers arent really forced to buy the game each year but at this point I really do feel sorry for them. U can see in Matts reactions that hes trying to hype certain parts of the game up in order to keep things semi interesting, but deep down u can see the disappointment. I’ve got a suggestion for a formation change. What if you change into City’s champions league winning formation with a 3-2-4-1. With this formation I feel like you get the most out of the squad since you can play all the centre backs plus White, Timber and Tomi as centre backs but maybe put a more attacking plan on them. You can then play 2 CDMs with Partey, Rice, Jorginho and Zinchenko as your options. You then have the right and left wingers where you can use the likes of Saka, Martinelli, Trossard and Nelson and the 2 CAMs where you can rotate between Smith-Rowe, Havertz, Odegaard and Viera. Then ofc you have the 1 striker which you can use Gabi and Eddie.
I love realism and immersion of CM. No walkouts and lineups? This looks absolutely awful. I was looking forward to it but I guess I'll continue with Fifa 23 for a year

Looks like exactly the same game for the 5th year in a row tbh. EA are embarassing. They need to realise that these shiny new features like coaches does nothing if the gameplay is absolute trash. Players look like they're skating, keepers dive backwards, the CPU plays players in insane positions (wtf is rodri doing at cam?). Just have a look at a PES 21 match and compare it with this. The difference is staggering

I think when you're looking at coaches to hire it shows you what tactics that coach is best at, but when you hire them it shows them as gegenpressing because that's your tactic but changes the knowledge level. For example, when you hired Hargreaves, it showed him as an expert in whichever tactic it was but then after hiring him it showed him as a novice for knowledge in gegenpressing.
I actually think removing the walkouts, and lineup graphics takes away from the experience a bit. Wish there was an option to turn them on or off in settings

This is because you are the head coach and you decide which tactical vision to implement. So they have to change their vision to yours. That's why it changes and makes them a novice in gegenpress. Edit: So if you where to change your tactical vision, everyone will be changed to the new tactical vision and depending on their experience in this new vision they will either be novice or more experienced.

The coaches turn to whatever playstyle you are using and they gain XP when you win games and use the playstyle, So Buying a Gold Tiki-Taka will convert to Bronze Gegenpress and as the season goes on they'll become a Silver Gegenpress and then a Gold Gegenpress. Buying them at a Silver/Gold Gegenpress will just be saving you time. Hope this makes sense

I think they should add the ability to check available jobs or receive job offers before going into a new season, so that you can finish the season and start fresh the next, not have to wait till job offers become available.
I know I am a bit late to this, but the reason they become gegenpress is because that is the style you are playing they have different coloured badges to show how good they are at that style of play, bronze - novice, silver - accomplished, and gold - expert
if you hire a coach that doesn’t have your tactical vision, for example you if have gegenpressing and hire a gold tiki taka coach, they will become a bronze gegenpressing coach and i believe they slowly improve their abilities within your tactical vision over time (not totally sure about the last part they may stay bronze forever but i would hope not)
They convert to ggenpressing because of your tactical vision. They also have grades whether they're gold, silver or bronze to showyou if they fit your style
Fifa 23 is also bad man. I am back to fifa 17, I reduced the speed and I am enjoying my self again. Can't go back to fifa 23 anymore because it is so easy and unsatisfied..

Play a 4-2-3-1 narrow and convert the wide CAMs into LW & RW. Party and rice 2 CDMs and in front of them Odegard. Martinelli & Saka the two wide Cams but change them to LW & RW. Use Havertz as a rotational CAM to odegard.
The coaches have changed to Gegenpress, but have gone from gold or silver in their preferred coaching style to bronze in Gegenpress as its a new tactic for them to learn. Im guessing/hoping they can go from bronze to gold over time as they coach it for longer :)

The keepers are still garbage and the AI’s defending is non-existent. They were the exact problems with FIFA23, what the Christ have they actually fixed since last year? It’s hard to judge the rest of the gameplay, Matt plays on slow gameplay and it’s brutal to watch and the cameras way too far out.
Shame EA have removed/ reduced pre match presentations like walk outs, ine ups, and handshakes. I kinda thought EA would go down this route as they removed the pre match presentations from pre season tournament matches in fifa 22. Same as always, they add the new cut scenes at half time but remove the pre match presentation. What I like in a football sim is realism and the feel the match day experience. Just feels that each year, this experience becomes less and less. It wa sall about marketing with the half-time epresentation.They even got the new EPL broadcating package wrong unless its a placeholder one and they release the proper one in an update. Also, experiment with the 3-2-4-1. Rice and partey at CDMs Haverrz and Odegaard at CAMs. Saka and Martin elli at wings with Jesus as striker. You akso hsve the squad to rotate in these positions
For coaches Matt, it looks as tho even if the coach doesn’t fit the teams style, they will learn/adapt to it. This is why some coaches you hired, they were Gold in a Standard strategy, but when you hire them as a Gegenpress coach, they will become a bronze for that strategy. They have to learn. That’s pretty neat tbf

I hope u see this Matt, but when you're playing 2 cams and wingers like that, and not having the right instructions, the wingers will basically play as a cm's when you're defending. So if I remember right you gotta put "stay forward" on your wingers and "come back on defence" to your cams!!!
Odegaard got injured within my first 30 minutes. Patrick vieira took it up just fine. For the team as a whole by the way. Havertz was great to hold up play and give the ball to Jesus for him to score.
Am I the only one that understands the coaches? They change to gagenpress but they also change to bronze because it's not they're key style... if they are already gold and gagen press they stay gold but other's change to bronze

It’s hard to judge the rest of the gameplay, Matt plays on slow gameplay and it’s brutal to watch and the cameras way too far out.
Won’t buy the game this year. Honestly career mode is a joke. Almost no new features and those they added is small and doesn’t make a huge difference

Shame EA have removed/ reduced pre match presentations like walk outs, ine ups, and handshakes. I kinda thought EA would go down this route as they removed the pre match presentations from pre season tournament matches in fifa 22. Same as always, they add the new cut scenes at half time but remove the pre match presentation. What I like in a football sim is realism and the feel the match day experience. Just feels that each year, this experience becomes less and less. It wa sall about marketing with the half-time epresentation.They even got the new EPL broadcating package wrong unless its a placeholder one and they release the proper one in an update. Also, experiment with the 3-2-4-1. Rice and partey at CDMs Haverrz and Odegaard at CAMs. Saka and Martin elli at wings with Jesus as striker. You akso hsve the squad to rotate in these positions

For coaches Matt, it looks as tho even if the coach doesn’t fit the teams style, they will learn/adapt to it. This is why some coaches you hired, they were Gold in a Standard strategy, but when you hire them as a Gegenpress coach, they will become a bronze for that strategy. They have to learn. That’s pretty neat tbf

They change to gegenpress as its your selected tactical vision, theyre given a grade depending on how well they are to change to your vision.
The coaches all changed to gegenpress because they will adapt over time they are bronze gegenpress now but will learn the style and at some point become gold
I hope u see this Matt, but when you're playing 2 cams and wingers like that, and not having the right instructions, the wingers will basically play as a cm's when you're defending. So if I remember right you gotta put "stay forward" on your wingers and "come back on defence" to your cams!!!

Odegaard got injured within my first 30 minutes. Patrick vieira took it up just fine. For the team as a whole by the way. Havertz was great to hold up play and give the ball to Jesus for him to score.

Am I the only one that understands the coaches? They change to gagenpress but they also change to bronze because it's not they're key style... if they are already gold and gagen press they stay gold but other's change to bronze
