Born and raised a couple hours north of Blake. Was and am still a country boy raised doing all the stuff he’s talking about. Best song in the last decade at least.
What a lovely comment Matt - nice. Thank you. I attach my Country Playlist for you to enjoy when you have time.ruclips.net/p/PLWQGjnqwg9JJYDrHZe3SZdcbLtSEMs_Ym May you and your family have a wonderful New Year and I hope that 2023 brings you an abundance of good tidings. Blessings always. 🌹
First time I heard this song it gave me chills and I realized that whether Blake realized it or not this song is prophetic! This is God's Country dedicated to Him by the founders and no matter the fight going on for the soul of this country right now God Does Not Lose!!
So right ridingthemusicwave - I attach my Country Music Playlist for you to listen to when you have the timeruclips.net/p/PLWQGjnqwg9JJYDrHZe3SZdcbLtSEMs_Ym. Yesterday I was shopping and would you believe for the whole 1 hour I was in the store they played Country Music - the UK are slowly getting there. Everyone was so calm and it was just a wonderful experience. I should have filmed it but I was soaking wet as my car broke down so had to walk in the rain 😂🤦🏽♀️. Anyhow, thank you for turning up. I wish you and your family a wonderful New Year and may 2023 bestow you with many blessings. Psyche 🙋🏽♀️🙏🏽🌹🕊
He's an Okie and we're Texan. We pick on each other a lot but we're very much alike. We just want to provide for our families, worship God and be left alone.
Growing up living deep in the country we would walk or ride horses deep into the woods and you would just feel like that was God's country. I miss those days
@@psycheinc-theSLC we still ride at least once a week as long as the weather is good. My cousin used to ride horses into town to go to the store. It was an all day trip because we didn't live nowhere near town. Those are still some of my favorite memories. I'm getting a lil older and can't go on rides like that anymore. Well I'm only 39 but I've has a rough life and it just hurts my body to ride like that anymore
I saw the light in the sunrise Sittin' back in a 40 on the muddy riverside Gettin' baptized in holy water and 'shine With the dogs runnin' Saved by the sound of the been found Dixie whistled in the wind, that'll get you Heaven bound The Devil went down to Georgia but he didn't stick around This is God's country That's strong right there, that's strong...

Wow - Thank you so much for that information Ice Princess - much appreciated. Also thank you for stopping by and for supporting my channel. have a truly blessed weekend, keep safe and be happy. Psyche 🙋🏽♀️🌹✨
Saw Blake in concert last year (February), right before everything shut down. He put on an amazing show. Then he brought out his surprise guest - Gwen Stefani - who joined him for just a couple shows. It was a really good show. Blake and Gwen sang a couple songs and it was such a memorable evening. Nice selection and reaction Psyche - as always. ☺️.
Morning rl2008 (red), well it's morning here and I've just woken up! thanks for your lovely comment - ooh I bet that concert was fabulous! @@psycheinc-theSLC - Hi Psyche 👋. Favorite artist/song 🤔. Well, I have loved Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac since I was a child. Their song “Sara” is probably my favorite, though “Landslide” and “Songbird” are beautiful too. I also hope you have a wonderful week as well.
Bless you and thank you so much Scott I appreciate you taking the time and for your support to my channel. Have a wonderful Thursday keep safe and be happy on purpose. Psyche 🌹
First time I've actually watched the video. The black and white flashbacks of all of that dry dirt makes me think of the Dust Bowl back in the 1920-ish era (I think). There was a huge sandstorm-like phenomena that unexpectedly happened in Oklahoma, due to over farming. I vaguely remember learning about it in school as a kid. I think it might've happened during the Great Depression Era. I wonder if that might've been what he was depicting there. He does live in Oklahoma. As do I.
Not sure how many people know this about this song. But it was written by UpChurch(Hardy) & Devin Dawson. I kinda wish Hardy would sing it so we can hear his take on it.
Hi just found you I loved your reaction. Blake is awesome the song he has with Christina Aguilera is awesome you should react to it BTW I subscribed keep it coming 💜
Bless you and thank you so much Lucky. Thank you for your support. Have a wonderful Sunday, stay safe, may it be peaceful and deliriously happy! Psyche 🌹 x

Ahem!!!! Fellow Texan here.
The chorus comes at ya hard, just like the life Blake is singing about. Strong men proud, to be men.
The Voice is Blake's show he's not just a judge

You're right he is reallly handsome with his blue eyes, dimples, curly hair and country accent
This was filmed on his ranch in Oklahoma (the Dust Bowl)
Amen!

His talent is there and what a voice. I find the lyrics very powerful with a well-done video.
That black and white parts were filmed during the Dust Bowl, which devastated the area for a decade or more.

React to Blake Shelton- turnin' me on ( vertical video)
It`s a powerful song, but the arid images were from the 1930s Oklahoma Dust Bowl, they were not modern.
