Had Maurice stayed in 97 who knows maybe Brenda would've gotten pregnant. the Cave In/ Pierce Dorman-Drug-Rivera SL would've been the perfect opportunity for that. She would find out she's pregnant around the time of the wedding in September. but since Maurice left at the time it wouldn't make sense for a pregnancy w/Sonny's baby. and after that they never had much time together for a pregnancy storyline with Vanessa coming & going and only stayed for a year or a couple of months. And then they give her a son with someone who's not even important to Brenda's story!!! lol

I think she was supposed to get pregnant but Vanessa didn't want it. They should have made her pregnant here and then she would have gotten back with sonny quicker. If both of them stayed, she would have the baby around christmas time the following year and they could have a boy named Stone. Then they could have a big wedding and we could see the domestic goodness we saw in 94 and part of 95. ugh we can only dream lol. Also if she did get pregnant here and maurice still left, they wouldn't let sonny leave her at the alter because that wouldn't make sense to leave the mother of your child so instead they would have him die temporarily like what they did with brenda.
