Do it out loud so others can also be in state of zikr before prayer
It allows to prepare before standing before Allah and to drain? (I guess from worldly matters)

Also if you imagine that this is your last salah and you don’t have the chance to pray the next one (thinking of the angel of death waiting for you to finish) this will really help you pray the way we are supposed to.
