Great reaction, from the heart! I'm 62, a musician all my life, & professional from the age of 16-17. I worked with quite a few good singers over the years & became especially interested in singers and started to search them out on YT, several years before I found Dimash. I heard many who really impressed me greatly, but when I found Dimash, it was all over. I agree with you 100%, he's the best in the world, no one that I know of is even close. In fact, I seriously doubt if anyone has ever done it quite like him in all of human history...

Yeah Dimash honestly is the only artist that has sucked me in and wouldn't let go. I don't think I'll ever get tired of him. Every song I listen to has a highlight of the song where he catches me by surprise. I think after the thousands upon thousands of reactions I've watched, I would get bored but I'm not. I really think I've seen everything I can get my hands on so I'm a little obsessed but.. he's really just that good. It's just like if you could watching a modern day Bach / Picasso grow up before your very eyes. If you ever decide to watch any interviews, you'll notice is humble beyond belief. He recognizes his limitations and always gives credit to others for his accomplishments. I would 100% stay away from any performance on the US show "World's Best". You can look up the info why but long story short he was lied and left the show early.
p.s. Today, Dimash will appear on MTV USA, becoming the first artist from Kazakhstan whose song and video will fully be in Kazakh. It will be available here on RUclips. Can't believe MTV has recognized him!!!

I love your recommendation, and DIDDO, he is one of those artists that you fill that his music has become part of you. It is like he now is in your blood and that the reason you and I wouldn’t get tired of listening to his music. Last night I stared around 9:00 pm and at 6:00 am I wast still watching the very first reaction to his music. I like the real first time, I don’t understand why every time they listen to a new song they called first time, no people your first time is the time you, after I don’t know how many times people recommend an artist for them to watch them, come on people you know how long it will take you to find and watch every preform of him. The time doesn’t matter if you like me I just go at it, after 2 days and night I’m done. Them comes the crying because you think that’s it, no no no it doesn’t matter the new works ( their nice to watch to) you now become obsessed over the the real first time they meet and listen his music. Last night I found this comadre Boricua! That I’m really happy about because she is from where I’m, but because she had a little eco in her rom and I was able to hear are coqui! I love what you said about Dimash being just what you were looking for without even knowing it. I feel exactly the same! I was always longing for singers to go where Dimash goes, and of course, they never did (because it's humanly impossible, haha!!) - the satisfaction of listening to Dimash is off the scale - he gives my ears exactly what they're longing for .... and my eyes, and my emotions. "The Singer" is an annual Chinese TV show for highly respected Chinese singers to compete. Dimash was the only non Chinese singer invited because the producer saw him perform for the Chinese and Kazakh presidents and was very impressed. He is from Kazakhstan is 6 feet 3 inches tall and was the youngest competitor in 2017 at only 22 years old. Because of his age and the fact he was a wild card selection, he was asked to perform first. No pressure!! To add to the complexity, he sang SOS in French! The audience went wild for him! When the show was broadcast that night on TV to approximately 600 million Chinese households he had to have bodyguards the next morning for the first time in his life as he had become a superstar overnight in China.
He is now a world class artist and just turned 26 on the 24th of May. His tour of the world to sold out arenas with his solo concerts was placed on hold until next year due to Covid-19. He also performs in concerts with the famous Russian composer Igor Krutoy, and is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events, film festivals and even models for lots of high end fashion houses.
He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition with a top mark of 100%. He has also been recently accepted into a Ph.D. program.
He received singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned it down for a more contemporary musical career. He is a multi instrumentalist, more than 8 instruments and also sings in 12 different languages and has a range of over 6+ octaves from a very low bass to a high soprano, plus a whistle register with his highest note so far being a 5 second D8 with vibrato. He is widely recognized as the best vocalist in the world. He speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is studying English and Mandarin and has conversational skills in both but not quite fluent yet. And to top it off he practices martial arts, plays soccer, and can swim the length of an Olympic swimming pool underwater.

Greetings to the owner and guests of this channel…! And my heartfelt gratitude to the reactors worldwide and commentators of this channel for your great help and service, so that artists can improve and or develop their talents and gifts at their best in order to serve better the listening public.
I still browse the music videos of Dimash from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength Dimash had invested into it and to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that he had. Indeed it is really a great work. How he was able to develop such a heights of his talents is really admirable and worth learning. And it is much more beautiful because he sang it by heart, naturally and at his heart’s content with joyful disposition.
The discipline, dedication and high ideals in pursuing his career the best he can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living our day to day life. Hope his viewers worldwide especially the young will learned from his optimistic views in pursuing his professional fields to the optimum level especially his confidence, creativity and perseverance. His labors and hard work are now indeed bearing fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to Dimash and his family and all others who supported him all the way through as a musician. For me as a listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the artist and the content of its music.
The power and beauty of his voice is so incredible even at his lowest and highest notes. Also the fact that, he is able to sing his music at maximum or more than 6 octaves with ease and comfort in different languages and in various voices is really amazing. But some others also cannot handle and cannot even believe the power, the strength and the heights of his voice…and they said oooh… is Dimash human..? Alien..?
I think It’s just a natural reaction that people wonder and probably surprise by it or cannot even believed it at all, it’s because it is beyond human expectation. But I believed and I’m convinced that Dimash 21 year’s cultivation of his voice and talents is no tricks and no magic at all; though he is gifted by God with grace for music but his years of hard work of practice and experiences proved it to us and to the world … that indeed it is possible.
My other concerns whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..?
Although Dimash music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it.
With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below about these music is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me.
SONG OF DIMASH IN FRENCH “S.O.S D’UN TERRIEN EN DETRESSE” (Ester Rabi’s Commentary & Reflection on this song (Ref CCC): I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death) STORY BEHIND THE SONG : The song is from French Rock Opera called Starmania. Originally it was sung by Daniel Balavoine who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986, who is known of his beautiful voice. Later, it was covered by Gregory Lemarchal, a young French singer who inspired Dimash to sing “SOS d'un terrien en detresse” who at all odds won the 4th series Reality TV Program Star Academy, despite his failing health and became an overnight success in France but had a shorter career, for he died young with his unusual illness of Cystic Fibrosis in 2007 at the age of 23. Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. “S.O.S D’UN TERRIEN EN DETRESSE” means in a sad lyrics says … “a soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress” because it is a human being who is in anguish searching for the absolute.
Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith.
For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discerned well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that, it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with humility, discernment and faith in God.
Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any kind of pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God.
Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. Likewise, if we are open to grace it helps us become vulnerable, sensitive and compassionate to others. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth” as Saint Paul reminded us that “our present sufferings are nothing to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us later.
Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person. The hope of heaven gives us joy even in the sufferings of this life. In God’s plan, human beings were created for holiness and eternal life with him. But through the original sin that enters human lives, our nature has been wounded, and is now subject to suffering and death. This was not part of God’s original plan, but now is already part of our human lives reality.
Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives, and we will face God’s judgment. Death creates in us a feelings and emotion of fear, separation, sadness and pain. Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and even argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end, we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension. The truth is… in front of death we are all poor and powerless.
If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. But In God’s plan, however, death is not the end of everything, but the border that enables every human being to enter the endless place of eternity. For all those who have done their best to respond to God’s grace, to die is to cross from an imperfect type of existence into a new and fuller life lived in God’s presence. Often we feel the greatest misfortunes, when death struck in a person, depriving him or her greatest treasures a person can possess which is life itself. Death is such a peaceful event in our life, if we die in the state of grace, meaning if we died reconciled with God and at peace with others.
Death is the end of our earthly life. Since it is unknown to all of us, the time of our death, therefore, it is best that we should prepare at all times. Let me tell ya if you ever do a reaction to the "opera 2" song I suggest watching the original on I am singer episode 2 because there's a big surprise at the end when he is thanking everyone. I would like to see more content creators like yourself get into the habit of previewing their videos before they upload to YT, that way you can catch issues like in this video where the audio is out of sync with the video in the performance.
