Hey. I agree totally. I'm American but I was blessed with parents who introduced me to a variety of musical styles from all over the world, and learned to value talent for its own sake and not 'where' it came from. In my opinion, after spending a LOT of time listening to music from all over the world for over 40 years, I think this man, Dimash, may be the greatest singer I have ever heard, based on vocal range, control, talent, execution, performance, emotion....hands-down he's a once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon.

Hi Eve, 1st time listener & 3 yrs follower of Dimash. I listen to each new Reactor to Dimash, I just love their expressions & reactions. Everyone says, how does he do that. Training, Training, Training. Di never lost his pre pubescent hi voice & he continued to perfect it. He is from a musical family, Mother is an Opera Singer, Father is Singer song writer, so he's around music all the time. He started music school at age five, when teacher found he had perfect pitch. The young voice is easy to train, although you have to have the desire. Di always wanted to be onstage with his mother, Shen she would have Opera presentations he would go up on stage and accept applause with her, there are videos & photos of him doing this as a child on his FB channel. His family has shared hundreds of photos with us. AS a child he drew, what his desired stage would look like, with drums, keyboard, speakers, microphone, etc all the equipment. In his personal interviews, he states if you open my heart there is music, my brain there is music. "l love to sing". I saw him in Concert in New York City last December- it was Phenomenal! So 20 yrs of training is now paying off, and he still takes music lessons. He has finished his Masters Degree in Music, now is going for his PHD in Music Compilation. He sings all genres of music, although he was offered a position with the Astana Opera Co, he said he wanted to explore all generes since he is so young. His Kazakh folk songs are absolutely beautiful, i.e "Samaltau". I know this is long, but this is just a few facts. Other Dears (fans) will continue to give you info on Dimash. High notes alone mean nothing unless you can sing with control, emotion and tell a story that connects to the audience. I'm from New Jersey and I can never listen to the dribble on the radio the same way again, now that I have discovered great, world class singers outside of the US. I'm American but I was blessed with parents who introduced me to a variety of musical styles from all over the world, and learned to value talent for its own sake and not 'where' it came from. In my opinion, after spending a LOT of time listening to music from all over the world for over 40 years, I think this man, Dimash, may be the greatest singer I have ever heard, based on vocal range, control, talent, execution, performance, emotion....hands-down he's a once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon.

Hi Eve, 1st time listener & 3 yrs follower of Dimash. I listen to each new Reactor to Dimash, I just love their expressions & reactions. Everyone says, how does he do that. Training, Training, Training. Di never lost his pre pubescent hi voice & he continued to perfect it. He is from a musical family, Mother is an Opera Singer, Father is Singer song writer, so he's around music all the time. He started music school at age five, when teacher found he had perfect pitch. The young voice is easy to train, although you have to have the desire. Di always wanted to be onstage with his mother, Shen she would have Opera presentations he would go up on stage and accept applause with her, there are videos & photos of him doing this as a child on his FB channel. His family has shared hundreds of photos with us. AS a child he drew, what his desired stage would look like, with drums, keyboard, speakers, microphone, etc all the equipment. In his personal interviews, he states if you open my heart there is music, my brain there is music. "l love to sing". I saw him in Concert in New York City last December- it was Phenomenal! So 20 yrs of training is now paying off, and he still takes music lessons. He has finished his Masters Degree in Music, now is going for his PHD in Music Compilation. He sings all genres of music, although he was offered a position with the Astana Opera Co, he said he wanted to explore all generes since he is so young. His Kazakh folk songs are absolutely beautiful, i.e "Samaltau". I know this is long, but this is just a few facts. Other Dears (fans) will continue to give you info on Dimash. Follow his YT Channel, he just released a new video for a Movie, Creators the Past. Song- Across Endless Dimensions. Movie was supposed to premier in March was postponed due to virus.
