Thank you for sharing! My Mom waited for her baptism as well (5 years) until she got her parents’ permission and I am so grateful. I know that’s not the path for everyone but I am so thankful for her patience and the relationships we had with her family. My grandparents didn’t attend her baptism but a few years later they came and watched my Dad give me a name and a blessing in church. Then they attended the baby blessings of children in my parents’ home. I know that our interactions with them during their lives are absolutely critical to their conversion to Christ process on the other side of the veil now since their passing.
God is Great, elects the simple and humble souls to do his work ❤❤❤❤❤
as a new Christian i am proud you teach Sunday school - also important is "For New Testament believers, we are commanded to: Let the word of Christ dwell in us richly (Colossians 3); Take up the sword of the spirit which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6); Let Christ’s words abide in us (John 15)." if the word is memorized god will pull them up when you need them
