I have been responsible through this pandemic - staying home, wearing a mask when grocery shopping and have been fully vaccinated. Thank you Mr Schumer - I would love to see my 88 year old mother and my siblings - it's been much too long - I hope your recommendation reaches the ears of those who will make the right decision.

Thank you, Senator Chuck Schumer and Rep. Higgins for everything you are doing to be a voice for those who are now affected by the border closure for 14 months too long! A border closure separating loved ones and businesses with no plan to reopen is an unacceptable one-dimensional solution to a very multidimensional problem. We are capable of more than we currently are doing to resolve other essential issues that are in direct consequence of only focusing on the COVID-19 dilemma. My hope is that other politicians will follow your lead and work together to find solutions that allow for the easing of border restrictions.
Praying for the Borders to expand there essential list and eventually drop the quarantine when the travelers are vaccinated . This is horrible and Painful and beyond heart breaking and very frustrating when there is a way to do it safely Just like they do for the essentials now . If we agree to continue to follow the rules and we are vaccinated what is the issue ? maybe make huge fines if you dont follow the rules ,trust me no one will mess up when it would risk not being able to return again.
What about people that are not vaccinated??? What if we don't want to get vaccinated to, can we still cross to border??? Maybe make it equal for all, not just vaccinated people, you want equality make it equal for everyone. Don't favoritism vaccinated people.
Other countries have required Vaccines to travel too.. because of disease or virus so I guess its the same role here covid is a health threat so i guess thats why they are only allowing that until it is under control.
@@juliemoffatt3112 to travel to foreign countries those required Vaccines are real vaccines that are FDA approved and had YEARS of study and refinement based on those studies.... these are experimental NOT FDA approved injections, with unknown results long term. So no one should be forced to be a guinea pig with no financial compensation in order to travel or live freely. If people are healthy and alive and asymptomatic after over a year of exposure... they have IMMUNITY !!! and a healthy immune system.

No, it does not make sense for non-vaccinated people to be able to cross the boarder at this time. Maybe when this pandemic is more behind us
