This is the best looking Vstar bobber. You made it look like it’s worth a lot more. A lot of people make it look like junk and basically destroy the value. Well done. I’d love to do one like this at some point.
I’m awfully late to this, but this bike looks incredible. Makes me want to hire you to build me a custom bike out of a bit nicer base model. Really love the work you did here. 10/10
I named this bike “The black stallion” it’s a beauty!! I have a 2000 Yamaha V Star 650 custom and would love to customize it just like yours man!! Do you happen to have the links on where you purchased the accessories such as the led strip, signal lights, bags, etc!! Just fell in love with that black stallion!!
Hi there Buddy. So sorry I haven’t left a message earlier. Unfortunately I don’t have any links. It was so far back. Wish you all the best with your build
Holy Shoot, bike’s awesome looking man. Guessing by now it’s long been sold to a lucky new owner. Great job done though. Blue Collar Bobbers’ kits add so much to these choppers.
The kit is from Blue Collar Bobbers, It came with a 1969 Bullet style rear brake light. Unfortunately is illegal to have in NSW so I bought a LED strip online from Custom Cruisers in USA.
Hello. I love your idea of attaching the pannier to the bike! Can I have a photo and dimensions of the bracket for fixing the wardrobe trunk? Thanks!
awesome awesome job with this build! very clean this design absolutely timeless! I think exhaust wrap is to insulate the pipe so the heat stays inside. This is done not just for rider comfort but keeping exhaust gasses hot does aid in power production. are you building anything else? If so please keep us posted.
awesome bike mate! Great to see so many custom parts and the fact that its still so neat and tidy! I went on that custom cruisers website but couldnt find that LED strip light?
beautiful bike brutha! just bought my first bike last week and its a vstar 650. will be doing a bobber build as well. What wheel/tire sizes were you running on that bad boy if you dont mind me asking?
Really nice build, just wondering about the LED strip, how did you mount it under the fender? Is it the truFLEX brand? did you use the side mount option (extra double sided tape) to mount it? Thanks in advance
Question. Is there anyway you can install a removable backseat on this bike?? Want to keep it as it is. But if you get a girl😜 you need space for her...
The bracket and straps came together with the fire extinguisher. That is part of the reason why are used that particular extinguisher. All I did was expelled the contents, and chopped off the bottom. Then added a plumbers plug
Lovely bike!! I'm currently trying to rebuild an older mistreated XVS650, and i really like the way you did yours. May i ask were you found the rear fender, Led strip and license plate mount? Good luck on the sale :)
Hi mate, I found the number plate mount at a local bike shop, and got the LED running light strip from a website in the US. Along time ago now so I have no idea. Wish you well with your build
Just now seeing your reply 😊 That's great brother ✌️😎 Blessings from Georgia USA 🍑 🙏 I own a 2008 V Star Silverado Classic that I'll hopefully be working on during the winter months. It was stolen a couple of years ago and somehow made it's way back to me. It sustained some damages, but nothing I can't repair or replace. She'll be running and on the road again one day. Keep The Shiny Side Up Brother 👆 🪶
TheThornes i bought a Vstar 1100 today!! So happy. Got it at a great price too with low kms. 👌 ordered my blue collar bobber kit today as well & cant wait to receive it and start having some fun! Yippie ki yay 👍👍
Hi! Back again, I would love to get in touch with you as I bought the same bike and currently customizing it, Love your work and would like to ask you some questions and tips. Can I send you an email?
I'm 6'4 and in love with this bike. thinking of it for my first bike. and will I be allowed to ride this on my L's and will be it comfortable for my height?
It "learner" approved. 650cc. It may feel a little odd on a bike like this for a tall person but once your onto your open liscence you'll be able to upgrade anyway.
I'm looking for that exact solution for a back light as it's illegal in my country as well. I can't find it on custom cruisers and nothing like it anywhere else. Do you have a link for the light, and I would really like to know how you installed it!
You should be able to find it on Custom Cruisers still. Email them and ask. I took the back fender off and fed the wiring up through the inside of the fender. A couple of mates who are handy really did a great job on it.
@@radmatos1225 I thought about that too cause I have the classic and the rear fender looks hideous in my opinion, I just want the small slammed look of this style fender.. best of luck buddy!
Christian Ventura ... try www.customecruisers.com. thats where I got it. Its mounted in rather a tricky way. Got a mate who is a cleaver electrical engineer to wire it up and fabricate the mount. took a couple days.
Hi There, I was looking for this answer but hoped for it to be easy. Could you please get met in touch with your friend or ask if he is willing to explain me how he did this? I just bought my XVS 650 today and can't wait to build it like yours! in love with the tail lights
This is the best looking Vstar bobber. You made it look like it’s worth a lot more. A lot of people make it look like junk and basically destroy the value. Well done. I’d love to do one like this at some point.
Thanks a lot mate. Wish you all the very best with your build.
I’m awfully late to this, but this bike looks incredible. Makes me want to hire you to build me a custom bike out of a bit nicer base model. Really love the work you did here. 10/10
That’s exactly how I’d want to build my own bobber. Love the looks. I’d buy that bike if it was in Toronto
God... the sound of this engine/exhaust... is amazing!
Nilo Soares . thanks mate. it had a beautiful tone to it.
BEAUTIFUL 😮 GREAT WORK!
Love the fender and the brake lights .
This is an absolute grade A Bobber. A treat to see. Thanks mate.
Thank you very much. Glad you enjoyed it.
I just bought one last Friday and I seriously cant wait to ride it. I just need this Brisbane weather to clear up.
Just bought mine two Fridays ago. Now I can’t wait for spring here in Ontario Canada.

Not only does it sound like one, that headlight visor and bar bag make I look like a train too, which I dig

The kit is from Blue Collar Bobbers, It came with a 1969 Bullet style rear brake light. Unfortunately is illegal to have in NSW so I bought a LED strip online from Custom Cruisers in USA.
The number plate holder I got from MCA in Parramatta NSW for about $80, and the LED running light I got from Custom Cruisers in the USA
Im sorry, but i cant seem to find "Custom Cruisers" ... If its possible can you please put a website up. I think alot of people would appreciate it.

Sick looking bobber makes me want to try it!
Danny Docekal thanks.... miss it like crazy.

Preciosa y muy equilibrada.
Very nice man. Im about to buy my first bike and this looks exactly like what i want. great work.
Ok
Damian Alleyn thanks buddy. It's easy to do if you have the tools and know how, or a couple of buddies who know how to fab stuff and wire it up.
What are the tire sizes? Your bike was fantastic !!!
Beautiful build
What size tire are those and brand?

How much would it cost to completely transform my 07 vstar 1100 ? Can u give me a rough idea …

Alex Xavier already sold
Hi,its absolutely beautiful bike!
I am working now on one,can you let me know paint that you use?
Thank you very much
Aleksandr Vasylchenko sorry for late reply mate. The paint was just a simple satin black. Talk to any spray painter and surely they'll help you out.
Thank you
Sweet Sweet bike man! Is the rear fender as wide as your rear tire? or is the fender a bit wider?
mansefbl ... same width mate.
Beautiful bike brother!! Amazing 😉
Thanks mate!

Can you tell where you got the straps that hold the fire extinguisher?
The bracket and straps came together with the fire extinguisher. That is part of the reason why are used that particular extinguisher. All I did was expelled the contents, and chopped off the bottom. Then added a plumbers plug

Hi mate, I found the number plate mount at a local bike shop, and got the LED running light strip from a website in the US. Along time ago now so I have no idea. Wish you well with your build
Only issue i have is the side bag kinda hides your left rear turn signal..
Do you know who made the rear fender and the bobber kit? :)
Was this from the American bobber kit?
Bloody great mate.
How did you fit the rear fender to the frame?🤔
Holly Molly your bike is amazing !!!
Eric Moser .... thanks mate. dearly missed.
Clean. Very nice.
Very good, great work !
love the bike looks great ..... you have done me a first never heard that exhaust rap help compression hope your onto some thing
The idea of the wrap is to keep the gases hot and double burn… Apparently anyway
Cool bike!!!
It's really cool
I love it
Where did you get the rear fender and brake light???
How's the wife's new kitchen looking?

Hey man where you get those fenders from? I have a vstar 650 and I've been going crazy looking for frnders like those
I know exactly what you mean man hahahaha I can’t find anything but blue collar bobbers an it’s pricey af for a little bit of metal

Very well done 👍🏻
a bike like that cost how much? can u give me a specification?
you can pick one up for around $5,000 - $7,000 depending on the kms and age. It's a Yamaha XVS 650cc Dragster 1998.
TheThornes and then?
The price to build it like That?
Hi, Do you have a site web or Facebook page where you have published the specifications and some photos?
