    Recently, when working with a few salespeople-some new, some not so new-it was brought to my attention that they weren't aware of the customer dashboard available from the customer record in NetSuite. I thought it would be a good idea to inform other users about this feature as well. It's a game changer for customer service.
    Remember this information: The dashboard can be accessed by clicking on a relatively obscure icon located just to the right of the "Customer" label on the customer record. When you click on that icon, it reveals a full dashboard of information specific to that customer. For sales or customer service representatives, this dashboard provides a wealth of information for pre-call planning as well as in-call action.
    Actionable Add-New Button
    In addition to providing important customer data for viewing, the dashboard also allows action to be taken via the Add New button just to the right of the customer name. You can create a quote, a sales order, or a note. You can schedule a meeting or send the customer an email. All of these activities are completed in the context of the customer you are viewing, making the process quick and efficient.
