I First I turned the router off, then I made some horrible solder connections to an old simm card, tried WIFI and got nothing. Turned the router back on and within a few mintues I had FREE WIFI!!!

"Commensence?" Its crazy how many people want to talk trash about "commensence." Here is my arguement. 1st, obviously people on here look to make people click on the video so that they can make money through adds so knowing people want free wifi it would be practical and sensical to make a video no matter how ridiculous because people like you will click. The fact that you actually believe that this video was possible says a lot about common sense. Which are two words not one, which brings me to my second point. To basically call someone out and say they dont have common sense when they tricked you into clicking on their video thereby making money then you talking about a lack of common sense is in itself nonsensical. I only get 70mbps speed if I connect 4 wires as you have shown. But if I use 100nf 10v filter with rt8207t qnf with rest 4 wires I'm able to boost the speed to 110mbps. Any idea how can we get more than that???

It's total bullshit. This can't work, just ask anyone that knows about electronics, computer networking or wireless communications. There are many reasons this won't work. Aside from the electrical reasons, there are also the ISP and protocol communication reasons. This SIM has to be valid and registered to an ISP, which means you will be billed for the data anyway. That's even if this setup could work but there are electrical reason it can't. You can't just solder a network cable to the SIM nor can you solder an antenna to a SIM. A SIM is not a transmitter or receiver. It is just a decoder. The router does the transmitting and receiving. So it doesn't make sense to solder an antenna onto it. It is sad that people believe such nonsense.
The worst part is that the router isn't even plugged in which many people have already pointed out.
All of this is like using a solar phone charger in a dark underground basement (without other light sources of course) ;-)
