Feels like a slap in the face seeing the event NPCs wearing the items ive been waiting a year for and saving for and don't know when/how will return
They'll be available. This event is in phases and more items come with each phase.
@@PointyEaredBowTwanger They've already said the items from before 2022 won't be returning during the event, and that they'll tell us before the end of the year when they'll return.

i’m an older player with the witch hat and i’m honestly pretty upset about them not bringing back old cosmetics for new players.
Fr i wanted the witch hat this year. It looks so good with the new gossamer web wings. Honestly didnt expect them to omit most of the past cometics.
I'm a new player and I was saving up for the witch hair for months :/

I'm genuinely angry about the older cosmetics being removed from the event. It's a terrible decision, and I hate that TGC has ignored *all* of the negative feedback about the decision. I genuinely haven't seen a single *positive* response about it anywhere on social media--at best, there's been a lukewarm reception but most people have been unhappy with it. We don't need another rotating selection of things; it's already bad enough when people are waiting 2+ years for traveling spirits to return. Having a shop that refreshes with older cosmetic items, if that's really what they're going to end up with, just adds in more uncertainty and frustration, because...what? We'll have to just hope we happen to log on the day/week that the item we want is available? Hope we have the candles we need for it? Holiday events were the *only* time we could actually see what would be on offer and plan for it, and they've taken that away. I waited almost an entire year to get the witch hair and another of the older Mischief items, and now it's just a "well, wait and see! they'll be available sometime!" It's just another, worse version of traveling spirits that no one asked for. People want the holiday items *during* *the* *holiday.* Not at some random later date.
It's frustrating to see how little TGC has said about this, their refusal to provide any actual plan for how this is going to look moving forward, and their decision to implement this unexpectedly right before an event with highly-desired cosmetics. I don't care how good the Mischief area looks (once the bugs get sorted out), I'm so put off the whole event, and Sky as a whole at this point. I'm not down for games where the devs preach about community, and then ignore community feedback and refuse to communicate.

@@Madeoftea right-that’s a big part of the issue to me. Yes, people complain about being overloaded with there being a lot of cosmetics available at once or a lot of very pricy IAPs, like the surfboard from Days of Sunlight. Or having the groups of traveling spirits come by during another event that has items available for candles, meaning that you’d need 400+ candles ready to get everything, with no idea of when those spirits will return as traveling spirits. This…isn’t the same thing. Having a lot of very predictable cosmetics during a regular event let’s people plan. They’ve ruined that. Basically, they’re solving the wrong problem. Even if it were an issue for some people, like…oh well? Having too many choices isn’t a legitimate issue.
Where is my witch hair ,my chair Halloween, my witch hat, my beautiful clothes. My first Halloween event and i am so angry i cant get them like last Halloween event
It was told to us days ago before this year’s Days of Mischief of why this is so: basically, TGC did not want to overwhelm possibly new players who come into the game during this event’s run. However, previous Days of Mischief items(including IAP and in-game currency items) will still return later this year:)

I’m kind of disappointed that the fall leaf cape and witch hair won’t be returning… I’ve been looking foward to it so so much 😭 Older players want newer items yes, but don’t take away the iconic event items…

Man I can't believe they decided to just put *some* of the older halloween items bc they're going to do some rotation... I've waited the entire year to get the autumn cape but it isn't there and I got *so* frustrated... I hope they go back on that decision because it's just *not good* :( (I stocked 200+ candles while waiting for it...)

You can free the long haired one in the cell… light the pumpkin and you’ll get the ability to get the hair
I'm salty about the hat. As a newer player the hat and or hat hairstyle is all I wanted. I know why they're trying to lessen players being overwhelmed but why bring it as a spell if I cannot buy it 😢
That’s because you cannot obtain the witch hat at all. The spell version we are able to get this event is not the same as the hair version and acts like an accessory. Think of it like the various ballon hats and neck accessory from the Anniversary event.

I was sooo excited waiting for the season to come but then disappointed by a whole bunch of bugs and lagging despite playing on my new s8+ tablet, the most annoying was taking away my control toggle, I thought my tablet was damaged until back to Home, tried a bunch of time but the results are the same. There barely are any instructions for what I should do and even too vague to figure out what to do, and have to go online to see what others do to find out it's just in coming. I'm shocked with the experience and tbh, not expect such an outcome from TGC😢

I really hope that if they do end up making a rotating event shop that they also include the event items in a consistent shop in the event area itself whenever it's going on. It doesn't make much sense to me if the 'event' items weren't available during the event they were for. Maybe the event shop will be like Spirit Halloween in the us where it's only around during the season (or event in this case)? 🤔I think the idea would be liked by more ppl if the rotating event shop was dedicated to the current event or had a 'current event section' (like, it's the same building, maybe in the aviary village, but decorated to fit what's going on at the time) instead of having current event items inaccessible except for certain days/weeks even when the event is currently active.
I was really looking forward to being able to get the last few event items I was missing from Days of Mischief this year and, while I'm a little disappointed I'll have to wait longer, I'm very thankful to hear that I'll at least have the chance to get them before the end of this year!

To everyone saying "don't worryyyy they're bringing back the other cosmetics later", uhh we wanted to buy and wear them during the event. Yes, there are Halloween folks who will enjoy them year round but not everyone, and no matter what we would have enjoyed them best if we could get them when it makes sense to get them: /during/ the event they were made for. There is some cute stuff available but honestly I really am disappointed and not very excited about Days of Mischief this year, and it's true: hunting for event currency is already getting old. For all of the stuff they put in the area, there's few ways to interact with it. More activities would be great for this game in general.

My problem is that when I end up in the runner that fills with water, I can't fly up into the hole above and I get stuck there, my camera goes crazy and it's like there's no hole to jump! I have to go back to home😭

In the long staircase Last yr you had to get super tiny spell to enter and there were candles w/cat who smacked u out at the top. is this still inside? we can’t seem to get the super tiny spell to get thru the ‘prison’ . ??

I've been SAVING and WAITING for that witch hair (and possibly the withered cape) and now people are saying TGC are not gonna add it anymore . . . that . . . that was it for me, that's the event down the drain along with the bugs and glitches.
The old event items are still coming back, people saying they won't be are just being needlessly cynical.
They announced that the event items will return before the end of the year through some other means, we can probably expect an announcement on how and when they'll return at some point in November. It's definitely annoying for those who have been waiting but it will be coming back soon.
