Hey shar!! This video was super comforting as an artist looking to sell their work at art markets too. The daunting task of spending a small fortune on supplies to create your stock, then the anxiety kicks in wondering if anyone will even buy or like it 😖 but this have given me hope and ambition, and a couple tips for my first market, so thank you for sharing your experience and im so glad it went well for you 💛

This was a delightful video and I feel like it was so helpful for anyone who’s thinking about doing an art market themselves! P.s. I love how real you are about your set up I was laughing at you saying it’s like a jail cell 😭
Shar, your video was so inspiring and well done ! 🥺 I think we're all proud of you for facing your fears and stepping out of your confort zone, I hope you'll share more of your new experiences with us in the future !!🐛🫶🏼
I just want to start off with the fact that I adore your videos and they always make my day, vlog, animation or otherwise. Your art is very beautiful, and adorable, but I totally lost it at the Korok backpack sticker. Whenever you post, I make sure to (shar)e it with my friends who also melt at your work. Okay, enough praise, now to what I really wanted to say. I've been going through a hard time with my own art, lately, and for about the last four or five years I've very slowly been making less and less art and becoming really insecure about it. Getting ideas and wanting to draw, but immediately shutting down the second it doesn't turn out how I want. Causing me to produce less and less that I'm happy with, which is making me sad, because I don't want to stop being an artist when it's only been slightly over a decade. I made lots of friends through art, and to have this mass burnout has been killing me slowly. I've also been huge about procrastination, so naturally if I'm bad at anything, I avoid it, rather than doing the smart thing like oh I don't know, PRACTICING and getting BETTER? Naw. Naw. Flat art with no backgrounds, here we go! Your art though is very inspiring, and it makes me excited to draw, I just have to go on a self-journey to figure out how to get over the hill and perhaps enjoy making art again, rather than shutting myself down. I changed up my style some time back but haven't actually found anything I really felt happy with, and that might also feed into the problem of not liking my own work. (Besides artists generally just being the worst self-critics.) I wanted you to know that this made me excited, and I quite enjoyed hearing of your learning process, mistakes and victories. Here is to your successful (And hopefully happy) future, Shar. I look forward to whatever you share, next.
aww what thank you so much for the kind words, i'm really happy to hear my stuff helped encourage you even a little bit!! 💗 i hope you continue to find the joy in art, it can be very frustrating at times but seeing progress however big or small is always something you should be proud of yourself about! wishing you the best always both in and out of your art journey :) 💐
i went with some friends. one of them went as sangwoo and after we split up he found and started saying YO SHE’S HERE SHAR IS HERE. cue confused “who” because i’m partially deaf, “HERE COMES THE BOI FLOWER FROG” and sangwoo dragged me to the table. mane shar’s stuff was so cute, shame i didn’t have much budget to splurge on her stuff.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video-your little chibi made me laugh so many times😂I recently did my first big art market too, so it was fun to see how you prepared for it.💜

I know nobody cares, and I am very late to the video… but my grandma passed away today and this video made my day a little better. Seeing all the designs of the little cute characters and the comedic, silly, and goofy pictures and jokes just made me smile.
This is so cool! I also just worked at my first art market. It was nerve racking but it gave me more confidence to join more! I’m glad you had a good experience too☺️
This was so cute!!! You have a really lovely tone of speaking and I loved the little paper sound effects for everything 🥰 Would love to buy some shar stationary omg…
i was so happy to see you at last month's komiket!! hearing your experiences and struggles in printing and preparing the booth are sooo relatable since i'm doing my first con this month :'DD i hope i get to see you in another con!!
You honestly had it all figured out before you went in. The only piece of advice I'd give for next time is, don't go alone. Take a couple of friends with you who will sit with you, help with inventory, stand in for you when you need breaks, and just generally keep you company so you don't lose your mind. You did have tablemates, so that's good, but that might not always be the case, especially at bigger cons where you might have a booth. Either way, really glad you had an awesome time! I hope that, in the near future, you work your way up to doing international cons. Would love to see you if you made your way to London!
I would love to see a more in-depth video about the making of your stationnary! Also, good job on your first art market, it sounds like a TON of work but you nailed it
Looks like a great experience! Even if it was a lot of work, now you have that experience in your pocket and it wouldn't be as hard to do again. If you did more stationary in the future, I'd love to see your korok designs on letter paper. That would be cute!
this is so inspirational thank you for sharing shar!!!! your work will always be some of my favorite its so awesome to see your journey to run your own booth!!!

A few tips about Silhouette and cutting paper:
* You can use it to crease the paper, though you might need to put it upside down
* You can cut so much with it, even some types of plastic
* It's very important to keep the base sticky, so reapplying the glue is essential. Though, I seen that taping the edges also works
* It's important to check if the registration marks are straight, or else the cut will go wrong. You can realign them by cutting the paper. Also, avoid leaving anything on top of the printer because it can make the print unaligned
* You can very easily DIY a base by using Acetate plastic (I think it spells like that), permanent pens and glue.
* There are places that sells paper in bulk
* Avoid using the machine without noise canceling headphones, else they will give you headaches
Also, and this one if for funsies, you can find models that you can assemble with paper.

(Besides artists generally just being the worst self-critics.)
I wanted you to know that this made me excited, and I quite enjoyed hearing of your learning process, mistakes and victories. Here is to your successful (And hopefully happy) future, Shar. I look forward to whatever you share, next.
aww what thank you so much for the kind words, i'm really happy to hear my stuff helped encourage you even a little bit!! 💗 i hope you continue to find the joy in art, it can be very frustrating at times but seeing progress however big or small is always something you should be proud of yourself about! wishing you the best always both in and out of your art journey :) 💐
i went with some friends. one of them went as sangwoo and after we split up he found and started saying YO SHE’S HERE SHAR IS HERE. cue confused “who” because i’m partially deaf, “HERE COMES THE BOI FLOWER FROG” and sangwoo dragged me to the table. mane shar’s stuff was so cute, shame i didn’t have much budget to splurge on her stuff.
my takeaway is that you are very hardworking!!!! good job!!!! also your bass looks so pretty :D
We love you shaaaaar! Your videos are always so nice and cozy and u inspire me as an artist :)
I’m happy the art market went well

I know nobody cares, and I am very late to the video… but my grandma passed away today and this video made my day a little better. Seeing all the designs of the little cute characters and the comedic, silly, and goofy pictures and jokes just made me smile.
my condolences 🫂 i'm glad it was able to brighten your day even a little
Congrats!🎉🎉🎉
A lot of people love you, and I am sure they'll be happy to see you IRL. Don't worry and enjoy you first solo art market! 🍾✨

i'm flattered haha thank you!!!
I'll be doing my first table this year on September and I was so nervous!! BUT THIS HELP ME A LOT IN A LOT WAYS!!! THANK UU SHAR!!!
This is so cool! I also just worked at my first art market. It was nerve racking but it gave me more confidence to join more! I’m glad you had a good experience too☺️
This was so cute!!! You have a really lovely tone of speaking and I loved the little paper sound effects for everything 🥰
Would love to buy some shar stationary omg…
I'm Absolutely obsessed with you art style it just makes my day whenever i see your videos
i was so happy to see you at last month's komiket!! hearing your experiences and struggles in printing and preparing the booth are sooo relatable since i'm doing my first con this month :'DD i hope i get to see you in another con!!
That would be cute!
this is so inspirational thank you for sharing shar!!!! your work will always be some of my favorite its so awesome to see your journey to run your own booth!!!
genuinely thank you so much for making this video. i've been wanting to table up myself but im RIDICULOUSLY small and want to know what to prepare for!!
