When I first tried my adapter I did not realise it is only the outer sleeve that you turn, not the whole plug which is held in place by the pins. Stopped short of using excessive force when I realised my mistake.
That's no good :-( It's difficult for us to see exactly what the problem is without having the car here with us. But have you tried jiggling the adapter a bit once turned to the left? Perhaps that will help in disconnecting the adapter. Could you let me know if it worked? ^Lars-Erik
So simple and yet if you don't know so difficult ! Thanks
Thank you ! very helpful video!
Im trying to do it but the adapter doesn’t fit under the bumper

You aren’t alone 😂
If you are using a 7pin to 13 pin adapter you can use this to turn the inner to 3 o'clock, so long as you don't push it in too far.
Gracias 👍🏻🤪🤪
...and if it won't go in??
i cant get it back out. it turns back to the left but wont pull out?

@@CarpointEurope I got it out by using force and jiggling. I now have one of the green alignment tools and have it working now.
