Delhi really should've made spears instead of archers to hold sacred sites.... and walls to stop raids, if he only saw cavalry...

Yeah spears would have helped against the cavalry, but you always have to be careful of the quick longbow switch too. Defensive walls to protect his base definitely would have made his life easier.
