Nah man, leaving penalty in casual should be illegal. If it's casual that means it should be something like "It's just fun time, nothing really important" if you know what I mean. It's not casual when you are forced to play till the end imo. I like to play this game when I'm waiting for something because it's a game that I can just zone out and turn off when i need to - most of the time when I'm waiting for dinner. If it will be in casual I will stop playing it during this time because noone knows how long the round will last (and in my case when will the dinner be ready). I think that's a great visualisation of a casual player perspective. I would play something else at this point. It would just turn some people off tbh

I think the problem is that people who care about winning aren't playing ranked yet, because there is no intensive (rank/rewards/etc.).
But there shouldn't be any penalty for leaving a casual game because there is no reward if you win or penalty if you lose, except the 2k xp if you win.
I don't want to play against a whole team playing TAC-50 with shield barriers on Meltdown when trying out a different gun or level it.
In the first overwatch you weren't locked into a role. After more than half it's lifespan they changed that.
In overwatch 2 they kept the being locked into a role.
adding a penalty to casual would be some activison type shenanigans, doubt the devs at X would do it, they seem way more competent.
One thing I appreciated OW for was the ability to leave games anytime, especially for the bad maps/gamemodes. When they added the penalty, it encouraged people to sit in spawn and become useless to the team. At least without the penalty there was a possibility of getting someone who was willing to play to replace a leaver. That change made me quit the game for good.
also a valid reason to leave games early is to skip the damn endscreen cause it takes a fu**ing fortnite to get back to the lobby
i miss times when you could just leave game really quick at the end of it to get into the next round
valorant also has penalties for leaving casual games i believe 💀
They should look at WHY people leave lobbies. Perhaps introduce some kind of system that counters that so people don't feel the need to leave.
No wait. I think CoD went through this like 15 years ago and it didn't go down well in the end. They should just let people leave. It is what it is.
super dumb, I should be allowed to leave games that are steamrolls, why tf should I have to sit through getting stomped because my teammates dont have fingers, makes no sense.
I think players who are getting stomped should receive more EXP for staying in the match.
The players who are doing the stomping should earn progress towards special items that can only be obtained if the team is winning by >25% margin after the first quarter of a match, or by the end of the game.
Instead of a leaver penalty I think if they can find a new player quicker to fill that spot it would work out for everyone. Leaver penalty in ranked sure but not in the casual playlist.
Now here is the thing i aint a teenager anymore man i am not as fast i used to be so i like to take my games pretty casually nowadays i support leaving penalties but only in Comp call it a skill issue or rage quitting idc but i spend 9 hours a day working so i wanna come home and wind down but if i get into a match full of Bunny hopping tryharding kids im outta that match so fast
Honestly DC penalty completely make me not wanna play the game at all....I shouldn't have to be forces to be in an unenjoyable match hence why I stoped playing dead by daylight I'm not gonna sit in a match where I'm forced to lay on the ground for 10 minutes

I dont normally leave games but have maybe twice due to something important popping up in real life or connection cut off for some reason.
I actually agree with the abandon penalty in causal , forces people to actually play the game lol
I don’t want to be “forced” to play the game. If I want to leave a CASUAL match I should have that option

@@KaiDoesXdefiant You miss my point, it isn’t just about having time or not. In a casual mode, players should have the option to leave without the penalty. Could be many reasons, not just “oh I gotta be somewhere”. Some lobbies are toxic and just piss you off, and you wanna leave and get into a new match. Simple as that
Maybe replace the penalty by reduced xp or something else instead of time
Taking away 2 weapon levels worth of xp is the true answer for rage quitting.

yeah idk whats been going on with the cheating. At launch there was none, then I ran into one a few days in and now, just today I have ran into 3 100% cheaters who were just aimbotting obviously. It's slowly getting out of hand which is not a good sign.
legit if they add this I'm uninstalling, even playing the game super casually it doesn't have much to offer over other games if they remove to ability to just hop in and out of matches quickly I might as well go play apex or valo or smth. How about they add a fkin ranked mode for people who want to take the game seriously, moronic companies man

People are leaving becuasce they are getting stomped , there is already a completed match bonus of 2k xp i dont know what they could do to stop people leaving.
Hey man, off topic question, but I saw mention of custom aim assists that people were sharing from an unrelated video. But is that considered cheating? Maybe it’s a feature for PC I’m not aware about? Also came a cross people are able to use cheat software on console for “like aimbot” AA. I ask because after no lifing the game for the last two weeks.. all these issues with “hackers” are starting to be more apparent. At first I thought the issues with the game itself was kind of shitty.. now it’s other players that can be ruining the integrity of the game.
It’s massively blown out of proportion from what I’ve seen. I’ve only seen one cheater and I’ve got over 100 hours. I’m yet to get in a game where I can’t drop a 6+kd
I’m seeing more and more proof of it happening. And the game has been out less than a month. As far as it happening in my games, blatant cheating or rage hacking, not so much. But even then the cheats can be subtle to reduce detection. At the same time, I have seen some shit advertised that makes me question the legitimacy long term for XDef. I apologize to discuss this on your channel.. just doesn’t seem like the big time streamers are too concerned. Scrump was in a match with one and kind of shrugged it off.

In OW wasn't dumb for many people that complained about leavers in qp all the time. If you want to play modes without any penalties, then there is Arcade and Customs.
Arcade does not have a mode identical to regular QP. So how is that a solution? And how is customs a solution either?
@@GREED_EU Blizzard decided QP needed those penalties for whatever statics and request they have. They only apply if you keep leaving games consecutively, so what's the excuse?
@@GREED_EU Arcade and customs are the true casual modes in my view. QP alway had a competitive nature(Blizzard shares this view too), especially since the introduction of the role queue.

I dont think you shoud be punished for leave games now and then but if you leave over and over and over just becouse you only play games out you can stomp then you shoud be punished for it . Yes the guy that gets punished meaby wont play anoter game but thats also applys to all the peopl that constantly get backfilled into this lobbys . How is it any better to have a 3 peopl team going against a full team just becouse peopl are perma leaveing if they see a back fill lobby . It was never a problem on launch now the times i get into a lobby were its me and just 2 other peopl with everybody els chain leaveing
Because it's casual and it doesn't matter. If there is punishment for staying, then there should be greater reward for staying, and there isn't.
