    What was the procedure of cleaning the block after machining? And what did you use to clean bores?

    • @thebus8685
      @thebus8685  5 месяцев назад

      Hey mate, The engine shop gave it a thorough clean but we also used cleaning products that don’t leave any residue. So usually brake cleaner or carby cleaner

    Are turbo piston's a must when upgrading a n/a diesel engine to a turbo diesel

    • @thebus8685
      @thebus8685  5 месяцев назад

      Being an old diesel it will handle a turbo fine

    You forgot to check piston ring end gap. But i assume its already correct from factory.
    Also you forgot to show us how to properly do the thrust bearings and which direction they go in.

    Hello nice work I would like to know if it is the same process for a 5 Le engine

    • @thebus8685
      @thebus8685  Год назад +1

      Hey mate pretty sure it is the same. The 2L, 3L , 5L and 5LE are all pretty much the same engine with more capacity as the generation of the engine goes up eg.2L 2.2l, 3L 2.8l, 5L 3l
