Wow! Part of my reply is in the screen 🙌 I made it 😅 For me, indie hacking has 2 benefits: 1. chance you are going to make a profitable app and get your freedom 2. learning new tech Thanks to building projects at night, I'm learning way more than just on my day job. I was able to change jobs and pass interviews because I could use tech not available to me by day.
This is awesome! I also learned a new programming language and framework (Elixir + Phoenix) while coding a side project, and I actually got some recruiters asking me if I'm interested in applying for Elixir roles
But I do understand the purpose of the video. It made me aware of Indie Hacking. Truth is: people selling courses when they have zero experience with products exists since the damn of the Internet. It is just much easier to sell that stuff now. You can convince people you're a figure of authority and make money directly on RUclips is less than a day. Now about programming. I do believe there are still many paths available for us programmers. I like the content you're creating and I think it's just a matter of time for your RUclips Channel and projects to explode, in the best way possible. It's hard to tell where AI is going to lead us, but I prefer keeping my hopes up.
Why are we talking about being rich in the first place? What for??? Isn't working for yourself or others, getting a decent salary, resting in the weekend, having stable relationships enough? Who the hell has lobotomized us into thinking that money will make us happy? - I would rather sell all my stuff and move to Tibet, living inside a monastery, than working a day job ever again.
@@DanielBergholz I partially agree. I reached pseudo financial independe very soon but it required to work me very time, and wealth is mainly about having time for your own stuff. I could be working right now but have had time for other stuff. Perhaps I would be better off this way, although I am doing pretty fine ☺️ It's just a matter of time for your content to reach a wider audience!

what I've learned today:
Create a course on how to become an indie hacker

I mean, the sooner we get rich, the less we need to work 😅
And yeah, my dream is to also work for myself sometime in the future

Mostly grifters. Indie Hackers is the developers equivalent of Warrior Forum with its WSO's (Warrior Special Offer).
