YES. THANK YOU! I loved being some of the VERY first people to ship Sherlolly. It was when the 2nd season was released. After the 3rd season, the who ship just blew up! Wow! I know when Molly turned up in Sherlock's mind palace, everyone was convinced it was because he loves her, blah blah, stuff. Here's what I believe to be true: Molly has obviously become a become in Sherlock's life, another person to always be there to remind him of when he needs to ground himself. Her slapping him has stuck in his mind so much that he now goes back to the feeling of that particular slap to remind him to wake up and focus. So, Molly being a part of Sherlock's mind palace can be translated as hidden love, but I think it's so much more deeper. He needs her to be there for him. Molly is so real and special to him that he feels she is the number one person to go to when he needs help. She does count to him. She matters A LOT. I swear, if Moffat does not make this canon, I will hunt him down myself. Because it clearly can be and clearly should be! I hope to God he won't pair Sherlock up with Irene Adler! *shutter* That's something I do NOT want to picture.
I shipped it since I saw Season 1. And I totally agree that it doesn't necessarily have to be romantic, she's just become one of the integral people in his life...which, for Sherlock, is a big deal. Thanks! :)
First I was a nobodylock shipper, than I started to fall for Johnlock but never truly, I liked and still like Johnlock fanfiction, but I don't think I want it to happen. So 'To ship or not to ship' that was the question. And now thanks to some beautiful fancictions, drawings (artbylexi!) and now this beautiful video I started to consider something else, something that I can't deny is sweet and heart-warming, something that is, Sherlolly Still not a true full shipper, but maybe i'll fall for it truly in the future
