I was only 15 when I fell pregnant with my first Son, my boyfriend & his family wanted me to get a termination. His Mum drove me to the hospital & thank our Lord Jesus that my Mumma came along with me because she came in the room with me just my Mum & I, where the Nurse was checking how far along I was by giving me a scan, so they would know what type of termination I would need. My Mum even though I was so young was completely against me having a termination. She said while I was getting the scan “oh look you can see the baby Abbigail look”the nurse asked if I wanted to see & I said yes! It was at that moment I felt a deep connection a deep love for my baby. It was at that moment it sunk in I have a living growing baby inside my stomach, and chose to scrap the termination. I wasn’t just going along with protocol & having a termination because I was so young & that was expected of me. My boyfriend & his Mum left my Mum & I at the hospital because I changed my mind. And for a few weeks gave me the silent treatment, but I was just so in love with my baby I didn’t care. He’s now a healthy 17 year old young man and I’m so thankful to my Mumma, who’s now sadly with the Lord. But I’ll always be so thankful for her wisdom & back bone to stand by me & her unborn Grandchild, even though it was so irresponsible of me to be having enter course so young, especially unprotected. But my Mumma still stood by me & I was walking in Gods Grace. Rest in Paradise Mumma 🫶🏻❤️

I'm a US Army soldier currently serving in Kuwait, and I agree about not signing up for the military right now. I was nearly booted from the service for refusing the "vaccine", and that whole experience made me reconsider what otherwise would have been a long career. With the recent selective service news, it seems like they're gearing up for war of epic proportions to further fuel the military industrial complex. Everyday Americans back home are struggling, but it seems all these politicians and defense contractors can think about is lining their own pockets at our expense. I hope more will join the America First movement and say enough is enough.

My religious exemption paperwork was still pending, going all the way up the chain of command to the highest levels when the mandate was finally overturned because of shifting public sentiment. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I've been nothing but a model soldier--I've never received any disciplinary action--yet they were ready to part ways with me and so many others for not volunteering our bodies to be lab rats for an experimental drug. This at a time when we're undergoing a recruiting crisis and everyone is doing the work of 2-3 people. And they've learned absolutely nothing (of value). They would do the same thing over again if another plandemic happened tomorrow. After my contract is up in 2 years, I'm out. I'm thankful for having had the opportunity to serve, but I'm done giving up my blood, sweat, and tears for an organization that doesn't care about me as an individual. All the woke DEI initiatives have become nauseating as well, and I say this as a black man. Currently my husband and i are serving in the USAF. We will be getting out at the end of the year. I just wanted to address that we unfortunately can't just resign. We sign contracts for 4-6 years and we're stuck there no matter what happens in those subsequent years. I didn't really know what i was signing up for and that's what they want. My strong advice is for anyone who is considering joining the military right now, is don't.

I was taught that when you see lightening strike, you count the seconds until you hear the thunder and thats how many miles away the eye of the storm is.
Kinda the same here, but we were told that when you see the lightning you count the seconds and when you hear the thunder, you multiply the seconds with the speed of sound (i am old so had to look it up, my time seem to fly by with the speed of light) 343 meters/sec. So i.e. 5 seconds until you hear the thunder, 5 x 343 = 1715 meters, 1.715 km. We have other metrics, but the distance is the same ofcourse. With that tactic you can see, and hear in this case, if the storm is heading at you or moving away if the time increases or decrease.

Candance, I have a daughter in the Marines and a son in the Navy and I am terrified for them. We live in such a terrifying time right now and they can't just resign. I'm sure there are ways they could get out, but it would look bad on them and effect their lives and livelihood. I must say that I am extremely proud of them. They could have done anything they wanted. Both straight A students on the honor roll, my daughter was valedictorian of her high school class, and she chose to serve her county in the Marine Corps! I remember as a kid we had learned about this in science class! We see lightning first because the speed of light is faster than the speed of sound. So we naturally perceive lightning first- and then always followed by the sound of thunder. Learning this always stayed with me, as I found it fascinating. The relationship between thunder and lightening shows that what we may perceive is not always necessarily the full truth. From our perception we perceive them as separate, yet in the sky it is an event happening all at once. A beautiful lesson from nature itself, unless you have the full picture of what you see and hear, your world view will always remain somewhat of an illusion, rather than the whole truth.
I will add the speed of sounds is roughly 761 miles per hour (1,225 km), whereas the speed of light is a staggering 670 million miles per hour (1.07b km)! God is so good! Christ is King!

I was only 15 when I fell pregnant with my first Son, my boyfriend & his family wanted me to get a termination. His Mum drove me to the hospital & thank our Lord Jesus that my Mumma came along with me because she came in the room with me just my Mum & I, where the Nurse was checking how far along I was by giving me a scan, so they would know what type of termination I would need. My Mum even though I was so young was completely against me having a termination. She said while I was getting the scan “oh look you can see the baby Abbigail look”the nurse asked if I wanted to see & I said yes! It was at that moment I felt a deep connection a deep love for my baby. It was at that moment it sunk in I have a living growing baby inside my stomach, and chose to scrap the termination. I wasn’t just going along with protocol & having a termination because I was so young & that was expected of me. My boyfriend & his Mum left my Mum & I at the hospital because I changed my mind. And for a few weeks gave me the silent treatment, but I was just so in love with my baby I didn’t care. He’s now a healthy 17 year old young man and I’m so thankful to my Mumma, who’s now sadly with the Lord. But I’ll always be so thankful for her wisdom & back bone to stand by me & her unborn Grandchild, even though it was so irresponsible of me to be having enter course so young, especially unprotected. But my Mumma still stood by me & I was walking in Gods Grace.

I'm a US Army soldier currently serving in Kuwait, and I agree about not signing up for the military right now. I was nearly booted from the service for refusing the "vaccine", and that whole experience made me reconsider what otherwise would have been a long career.
With the recent selective service news, it seems like they're gearing up for war of epic proportions to further fuel the military industrial complex. Everyday Americans back home are struggling, but it seems all these politicians and defense contractors can think about is lining their own pockets at our expense.

The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I've been nothing but a model soldier--I've never received any disciplinary action--yet they were ready to part ways with me and so many others for not volunteering our bodies to be lab rats for an experimental drug. This at a time when we're undergoing a recruiting crisis and everyone is doing the work of 2-3 people. And they've learned absolutely nothing (of value). They would do the same thing over again if another plandemic happened tomorrow.
After my contract is up in 2 years, I'm out. I'm thankful for having had the opportunity to serve, but I'm done giving up my blood, sweat, and tears for an organization that doesn't care about me as an individual. All the woke DEI initiatives have become nauseating as well, and I say this as a black man. It just seems like the military has other priorities than fighting and winning America's wars, and that concerns me as WWIII tensions ramp up...

Currently my husband and i are serving in the USAF. We will be getting out at the end of the year. I just wanted to address that we unfortunately can't just resign. We sign contracts for 4-6 years and we're stuck there no matter what happens in those subsequent years. I didn't really know what i was signing up for and that's what they want. My strong advice is for anyone who is considering joining the military right now, is don't.

I was taught that when you see lightening strike, you count the seconds until you hear the thunder and thats how many miles away the eye of the storm is.
Kinda the same here, but we were told that when you see the lightning you count the seconds and when you hear the thunder, you multiply the seconds with the speed of sound (i am old so had to look it up, my time seem to fly by with the speed of light) 343 meters/sec. So i.e. 5 seconds until you hear the thunder, 5 x 343 = 1715 meters, 1.715 km. We have other metrics, but the distance is the same ofcourse. With that tactic you can see, and hear in this case, if the storm is heading at you or moving away if the time increases or decrease.

Candance, I have a daughter in the Marines and a son in the Navy and I am terrified for them. We live in such a terrifying time right now and they can't just resign. I'm sure there are ways they could get out, but it would look bad on them and effect their lives and livelihood. I must say that I am extremely proud of them. They could have done anything they wanted. Both straight A students on the honor roll, my daughter was valedictorian of her high school class, and she chose to serve her county in the Marine Corps! I can't express in words how proud I am. But yes, I do worry about my two youngest children, so very much.
Just know that they fight war for other countries, it has nothing to do with securing American... But keeping a certain country save... Just like where you tax dollars are going. Learning this always stayed with me, as I found it fascinating.
The relationship between thunder and lightening shows that what we may perceive is not always necessarily the full truth. From our perception we perceive them as separate, yet in the sky it is an event happening all at once.
A beautiful lesson from nature itself, unless you have the full picture of what you see and hear, your world view will always remain somewhat of an illusion, rather than the whole truth.

Equestrian girl from SA here. I was taught to count after lighting how quickly you hear thunder to determine about how far away the lighting is. Basically if i saw lighting and heard thunder a second later it was get of the horse immediately even if I then walk back to the stable whereas if it was I like 5 seconds I would just ride back to the stable so that's really where I was taught about it.
