    Got the Blomberg 3 years ago. It’s great, particularly in our building where the dryer vent system is problematic.

    I have this dryer, and it's great except for the fact that the evaporator is impossible to clean properly. Wet lint gets stuck to it, and it smells like cat pee. I have to take the filter drawer out after every load, and then run the dryer without it in order to dry the wet lint. The manual says to simply use a vacuum to clean the evaporator, but the aluminum fins bend really easily and very little lint is sucked out of the evaporator. So, my evaporator is getting ever more clogged and I have no way to clean it. It's not as if the evaporator can be removed and cleaned. Am I missing something?

    Oh my god. I’ve had a heat pump dryer for years ( I’m in the uk) This is a normal size dryer in the uk and we cope with these quite well. We don’t need machines as big as the ones you have and to be honest neither do you guys. My aunt coped with 8 children and 4 adults in the house with a washing machine and tumble dryer this size. Your big machines are ridiculous. You can’t even have wash that well in them. They use way to much water and you don’t seem to have heaters in your washers. If your washing machines had heaters and they were used properly you wouldn’t get so many people complaining that their machines smell and are mouldy
    This size dryer is more than adequate for a family of 4 or 5 or 10.

    whats the life expectancy? hows easy is it to self maintenance?

    • @robigeisi6530
      @robigeisi6530 7 лет назад +1

      IAmGunzNoob average 7-10 years. Depends on use. Since no air is getting vented out lint builds up inside the machine after a while, wich usually kills the machine in the long run. The thing that usually breaks in a heatpump dryer is the compressor unit itself, and its difficult to repair since the gas in it is very dangerous.

      easy to maintain, simple two steps for lint cleaning. Compressor covered by a 10 year warranty from the manufacture. loads of cycles.

    I just purchased the LG washer and dryer combo, I'm not to happy because I love the smell of clothes when it smells like fabric softener. But I noticed no matter how much fabric softener or dryer sheets I use the clothes still doesn't smell like it. Is it because it is ventless?

      For real?? I don't even have a car! I have no problem walking one mile to the laundromat, expect when the wind chill is in the negative and there is 6" of snow. Like now. Which is why I am "researching" (more like dreaming) of getting a small washer and dryer for my apartment...
