My name is Ion Miu and I was born at 21 january 1955, in city Titu, Dambovita.
When I was 4 years old I started with my father to play on the cimbalom.
In all this years I obtained a lot of awards, as:
- 1973- First Award at the International Festival Berlin.
- 1979- First Award, the diploma and the honour title as "Laureat" in Bucharest.
- 1980- First Award at Balcanic Festival in Novisad upon the stick of conductor Bebe Oprea.

@Ladiabla1985 you have a point, but, "Csardas Monti" is by an Italian composer... it is 19th century hokum with faux Hungarian flavoring ... do you really want to engage in polemics with Romanian gypsies over this ? Miiu can outplay all Hungarians technically on the tambal.... about taste, well, there are many views, I agree.
