Great! The SC-55 doesn't sound too far from modern, gigabyte-sized soundfonts. It was a real work of engineering back in its time!

Hey! The instruments actually can be found in a Roland SC-55 soundfont! They sound great with some EQ!

Alternatively, invest in a Sound Canvas SC-VA plugin. Digital version of the Sound Canvas with SC-55; SC-88; SC-88 Pro; and SC-8820 samples. Not 100% perfect but absolutely wonderful.

Nice man! I had uploaded a version not long ago myself. Wish I could setup virtual machines properly to play the midis straight from the games. Is that how you record them or is it also the archive from mirsoft? Anyway nice man , it's funny how tiny distinctions there are in sound compared to a sound canvas in sc55 mode or a native sc55 one.
Anyway, thanks for pointing out that midi player earlier. Works way better then regular windows media player

Thank you! In this case the midi files are from mirsoft, but they have been obtained from the game itself, as you can see in the info file. My next goal is to get a MIDI expansion card por my Sharp X68000 PRO and be able to play the midis straight from the "sound test" menu of the game (running in the real computer), just for fun, because there will be no difference in quality, as I'm recording the music directly from the SC-55 anyway :)
