This is the first song the Darkside did, in fact its the first song I ever wrote. It was never released.I was the founder and original singer / guitarist. I was with the band from 1986 til may1990. I formed Flite118 in Oxford and played with them til 1992. Thinkin of you was performed by us as a live song. And featured on the "Live at Jericho" recording. I will be posting some songs from the archives of my old recordings with these bands soon.
Love this song. I had the pleasure of chatting to Pete Bassman for a hour and half in the pub before seeing him in concert. He’s extremely intelligent, creative and has genuine musical talent
Hi..The bass player was Pete (Bassman) Bain. This was a really early Demo. The line up was Nick Hayden - Vocal / Gtr Pete Bassman - Bass Gtr Dave Selby - Rythm Gtr, and TJ Heartland - Drums. It was recorded around early1989.
Never heard this but it's freakin' awesome! Thanx! Been a fan of The Darkside via Spacemen 3 and you shoulda been bigger! Great guitar and sound! Love it.
@OriflameKlub Im gonna sit right here and watch the sun go down / gonna watch the darkness as it falls upon the town / Ill watch the sky till the stars appear / and Ill be thinkin of you / cos I want you here... Cant you hear me God, you know Ive been preyin all the time / Ive got this girl that I cant get off my mind /I cant face the fact that there is nothing I can do / and my heart is bleeding, my whole life is falling through...oh yeh.

DUDE!!! this is really good . this is like a hidden treasure from the 60s made in the 80s and found again in another century !!
that guitar is so early 90's, it really takes me back , brilliant tune
totally underated 90's Brit band !! Great post !!
That music's old but sounds like now .they were ahead of time.
pure rocknroll
pure energy
pure emotion
pure talent
The perfect 90s band, they always sound like time-travelers from the 60s astrally projecting into the future.

Good music, but you could have done with a better singer. Otherwise, quality stuff.
