From what I understand he’s taunting the judge to make him go to jail so that he can actually appeal the punishment and thus delay the trial. We don’t want that, do we?
Which is why Merchan hasn’t tossed him in yet, and why he’s given him a clear warning and two chances to stop.
The proof will come when he breaks the order again, which he will.
That’s when we will see if Merchan will hold him accountable because at that point, no court will say it wasn’t a sober ruling and all other avenues weren’t exhausted.
