Almost all my friends who have had hip replacement have been feeling so much better after the surgery that it's hard to keep them down. You might talk to the Dr about potential hazards of being alone. She will still need to use the walker and get to physical therapy every day. How will she get there? How about making meals? Are there throw rugs in her house that are fall risks? After using a walker and wheelchair for 10 years (in my 20s) life is much more complicated with a walker. I would try to negotiate for at least 2 more weeks with you.

Love these. How fun to be able to do custom cards like that. I wish your mom a speedy recovery. I've had both my knees replaced. The one piece of advice I would offer is to be sure she is following through with her physical therapy and home exercise program. Haven't much about Hank lately either.
Lovely cards! Best wishes to your mom on her recovery. They get patients up and moving right away to get the joint moving, the blood moving and to lessen the risk of blood clots/infection. My husband’s aunt had hip surgery a few months ago and she had to wait six weeks before driving. 🇨🇦

Besides loving this card . . . how much EASIER can it GET if you're at a loss for what kind of card to make for someone. ESPECIALLY maybe someone you're not that close to or know. Very very cool!!!!!!!!!
Wow these are fantastic!! I like making my own TN sized calendar/planner insert, I'm thinking that stamp set would be perfect to stamp my grids. And I love the font of the numbers. The detail in those blooms- awesome. Your comment about liking the lined notebook paper look made me want to ask: were you into staionery and stickers back in the 80s and 90s? Small stationery stores, large ones like Hallmark, the Current catalog and others like it...I loved all that stuff.
@@laurafadora1 I saved a very few sheets of paper, envelopes and stickers from then but I wish I'd had the forethought to save more. I appreciate the beautiful sets and designs out today but I miss the charm and art from then as well.

What die cutting machine do you use?
Most of the time I use the Anna Griffin Empress machine. I also use my Spellbinders Platinum Machine, too.
