- Health Update 5. Here are a few of the things I've had to do to get ready for surgery. I had the appointment for the marking for the ostomy bag, the covid test and the laxative prep to clean me out.

For what it’s worth your body is AMAZING! I am 28 and I hope I look even half as good as you when I get older! It’s clear you take good care of yourself, which must make this all the more frustrating for you 😢 but your attitude and disposition are just incredible! It was hard to watch you struggle with your pills. :( I can't swallow pills well either but, having to take that many while prepping for surgery is not fair.

Yeah, the prep is hard enough without pills. If I could have taken them with applesauce it would have been easier. Surgery is done and that went really well. Just came home from the hospital tonight so now I rest for a bit. 💞

I Will have a permanent colostomy on April 17, 2024. Hopefully, you are doing well! I had an illeostomy for 3 mos. Pelvic radiation due to cancer 17 years ago has done a number on me.
I pray everything goes well for you for your surgery and afterwards. 💜🙏
