After I accept the offer, what do I do ? I’m an international student
Hi Achee, there are two websites that will be useful to you as an international student who has accepted an offer to York. The first is the Future Students website which has admission and application procedures specifically for International Students here: futurestudents.yorku.ca/requirements/international. The second site you should become familiar with is York International, which you can find here: yorkinternational.yorku.ca/international-students-2/. If you haven't already done so, you can contact them and make an appointment to speak with an advisor via phone or email. I just got accepted yesterday as an international student. problem is that I need a visa and it will take 6 weeks or more for it to be done and I will eventually miss orientation day! what should I do?
Hi Neg - thanks for reaching out with your question. You should contact York International and let them know of your approximate arrival date and that you will be missing orientation. They should be able to provide you with any information that you may miss at Orientation upon your arrival.
