They're not promising to maintain the status quo. "No spending cuts" means they will spend the same amount but everything's getting more expensive. It's "no spending cuts" not "no service cuts".

What about renationalisation? The case for it has never been stronger. Compare out energy bills to other major European nations. Look at what's happened to our NHS since the 2012 HSCA encouraged fragmentation and privatisation. We literally have p** floating in the sea! Our transport costs routinely rise at more than inflation. When core services are privatised, we need them more than they need us and competition is non existant. Why is Labour so gutless when it comes to standing up for the interests of ordinary working class people?

Every year is 1945 for the Labour Party antiques. Reeves is Stafford Cripps with attitude. Britain is clearly done now. It is officially described as emerging third world, borrows to repay the debt interest {!} yes that is the level of total failure there now.
Reeves is a tub thumping throw back to a misinterpretation of the Industrial Revolution.
Why she had the elocution lessons I do not know, I so much preferred hee prior foghorn voice, as it was honest. She is a dupe of the class system. And she loves it that way.
